My Possessive Temptation

Chapter 15

Chapter 15

*Jade's pnt. of view *

I have been rooted to the same spot for what feels like hours since Jake left me alone. I didn't know what to think or what to believe. I was thinking about my parents, how long I've been kidnapped, and why I haven't been found yet.

I thought back to what Jake told me when I first found out that I was kidnapped.

*Flashback*

"What did you do?" I gasped as the memories suddenly pieced together, and I remember everything that happened before I was knocked out.

"Well let's just say that Dean cared so much about himself he would do anything to protect himself, especially when held at gunpoint. See he doesn't want you Jade, he never did, he just wanted to get in your pants. When I threatened for him to choose himself over you... well let's just say you should know the end of the story by now. Now eat."

*End of flashback *

A river of tears flowing down my cheeks is what brought me back to reality, I still couldn't believe that Dean would do such a thing.

I knew having a secret romance behind Daphne's back would hurt me.

I knew I should've stayed away from him, but if and only if...

His tempting aura always got to me, and I always found myself being drawn into him, and I couldn't do anything to get away from my possessive temptation.

The thought of what Dean did to me depressed me, but it was all that clouded my mind.

I soon drifted back to when he kissed me, his soft lips, and his arms around me. I also remember when he slept with me, because of my idiot actions, he got stabbed.

I couldn't help but smile at how my stomach would do summersaults when he touched me, and I how my heart would beat ten times faster when he was close.

As all these memories flooded my mind, I absent-mindedly touched my lips, and I was given the benefit of the doubt that maybe Dean did care. I mean who gets stabbed for a girl just to get in their pants.

That I do not know.

I realized that reviving my memories with Dean made my heart feel lighter, and I knew that I was going to be all right, but now I had to formulate a plan, I'm not sure what it was going to be, but I know I had to get out of here, one way or another.

I already thought of two ways I could get out, either with violence, or with lust, but being as weak as I am due to lack of nutrition I'm not sure neither will work in my favor.

As I tried to work my brain to figure out which plan I could use, a sudden pain erupted in my head, and a wave of dizziness hit me like a ton of bricks, and I waddled my way slowly to the bed not being able to stand.

I laid on my stomach and waited for the pain to subside, I wasn't sure what was happening but I knew that it wasn't good, and soon enough just as I assumed, darkness overwhelmed me, and the last thing I remembered was me crying out in pain for my mom.

*Sarah's pnt. of view*

I was currently being held hostage in Tyler's room.

Ever since the doctor's visit, I have managed to keep my mouth shut and display what Tyler believes is "Good behavior" which earned me the opportunity to leave the basement I was placed in my first few days here, and I had the freedom to go anywhere in Tyler's house, or should I say mansion.

I hardly question him, but the one question that has been bugging me was the fact that Tyler was in jail ever since I gave birth, and he was to serve 17 years to life for assault and battery, attempted murder, and the unlawful owning of a firearm, and he wasn't near getting out yet, so it makes me wonder... how did he get out?

I have been trying to do what the doctor said, I exercise daily, and try eat as healthy as possible, and I try to avoid Tyler at all cost. He is very suspicious though, in fact he has cameras implanted everywhere in the entire mansion, so nothing I do goes unnoticed, but I'm only praying that I get out here soon, because my stomach is starting to show a little hump, and sooner or later Tyler is going to find out that I am still pregnant with my second child.

At the thought of my unborn baby, an image of Jade flashed before my eyes, and I couldn't help the tears that ran down my cheeks that instant. I couldn't help but pray that she was okay, and I was just hoping she would come up with a plan being the smart girl she is to escape any danger that she was placed in.

I also prayed that Damien was okay, because if he wasn't in danger he would've been here by now.

But no matter, I couldn't just sit around and wait for Damien nor Jade, I mean I'm Sarah, I know how to work things out in my favor and take care of myself.

I started working my brain for a plan and soon enough I got it.

I looked out the window and there was a tree connecting it to the big wall that surrounded the entire mansion. All I had to do was climb on the closest branch and creep my way across the tree and jump off the wall.

Yes I know, I'm pregnant and the wall is big, but if I dangle myself from my arms I'll have less of a violent and possibly fatal fall. I would also have to tie my ankles to give me some support, but at least I had a plan.

Knowing that today was Saturday I know that Tyler is at the gym, and won't be back for an hour, that will give me enough time to run a good amount of ground.

Oh did I forget to mention that the mansion is surrounded by acres and acres of forests? Well it does, but I was a former girl scout when my parents were alive so I know a few survival tricks.

I changed my clothing into jogging pants and a tank top. I prepared myself a little bag with two bottles of water a few energy bars a few apples, a phone that Tyler gave to me in case of an "emergency", and some money that I managed to steal from Tyler over the past few days.

I ripped a few of his undershirts and wrapped my ankles, and I finished up but putting on some sneakers.

I made sure to find a blind spot on the window, and I leaped from the pane unto the tree branch.

I held on as tight as I could and creeped my way from branch to branch until I made it to the wall.

I then crossed over the wall, and dangled myself with my arms. At that moment, my heart beat sped up, I struggled to steady my breathing and in a split second, without thinking twice, I let go.

I landed with a thud as the impact on my ankles caused me to tumble to the ground, and pain started to shoot up my shin to my knees. I took a minute to breath and let the pain subside, in the process I checked the phone that Tyler gave me and pulled out the tracking device on the back and threw it back over the wall and into the yard, then I stood and made a run for it.

With the tracking device gone, I knew he wouldn't be able to find me so easily, and I was happy that the pavement around the wall was made with grass so he wouldn't be able To track my footsteps.

I wasn't sure where I was going but I wasn't going to stop until I could no longer see the walls of the mansion.

I kept on running until I could no longer see where I was going, I looked back and there was no sign of the mansion.

The only sound heard was the sound of nature life around me, my harsh breathing, and the frantic beating of my heart.

I wanted to keep going but the moonlight hardly shone through the thick branches of the forest trees, and so I decided to stop for the night.

I climbed the nearest tree, and hid in between the branches so I wouldn't be spotted so easily, and my dark clothing only made it better. I pulled out the phone and it read 9:00 PM.

I breathed in deeply and realized that I was free, I wouldn't rejoice just yet because I was still in the middle of nowhere, but at least I was free.

I soon felt the weight of the day take its toll on my body and my eyelids became very heavy, but I struggled to stay up to eat an apple because I was starved. I then drank some water, and placed an alarm for 6:00 AM. I made sure my leaf entourage was secured, I sent out a silent prayer to my loved ones, and soon I was knocked out.
