My Possessive Temptation

Chapter 11

*Jade's pnt. of view *

The weekend has been an entirely hectic time.

Ever since my talk with my mom about Daphne's mom, my parents have been spending most of their time in my dad's office, and when we are out, they seem overly aware of their surroundings, and my own.

Even this morning my mom seemed reluctant to let me go to school, which would've been fine by me.

We were currently sitting in lunch at the moment, but it was slightly awkward.

Daphne has been giving me the cold shoulder all day, and I can't help but feel anxious with the fact that maybe she found that about what happened between Dean and I.

If she does then I will feel even worse. I hate the fact that I let my feelings cloud my judgement and caused me to betrayed my best friend. I hate how I let go so easily to temptation, but most of all, I hate the fact that I loved each and every second I spent with Dean, even though it meant betraying my best friend.

I thought about what my mom said, and I tried avoiding Dean most of the day, and he seemed to be doing the same thing, which kind of hurts cause it's as if he literally but secretly rejected me.

I was munching on some chips when Daphne plopped right next to me, in a very disturbing manner.

She faced me, as I did the same, and the fury in her eyes caused a sudden knot to form in my stomach.

"A little birdie told me tat you are after my boyfriend, is that true Jade?"

"What?" I feigned confusion, "Why would you think that?"

"I don't know, maybe because he left homecoming without me, and drove you home, but then lies to me saying that you almost got raped. Like do you think I'm an idiot Jade?!" She snapped.

"Well for your information, I did almost get raped, and just in case you didn't notice, Dean and I do not get along. Like how long have you known me, and you're suddenly doubting my friendship over a boy?"

"Look at this point and time I don't care for a flimsy friendship. Mark my words Jade, stay away from Dean, or I promise you, one morning you won't be seeing the light of day bitch."

With that she walked away, and that when I realized everyone was staring at me.

I picked up my stuff in a hurry, and dashed out of the cafeteria and kept running, until I bumped into a hard chest that belonged to none other than Dean.

I quickly caught my balance before falling on my butt, and then looked up at Dean.

What I saw in his eyes made my heart stop.

Anger, hatred, confusion, and an unidentifiable emotion.

"Dean?" I whispered.

"Shut up!" His outburst startled me, and I took a step back.

"What?" Was all I could muster.

He suddenly approached me, as he grabbed onto my arm as he sneered "I advise you stay away from me. Because of you, my relationship is in jeopardy, stay away from me Jade, if you know what's best for you."

With that he walked away, leaving me lost, confused, shocked, but most of all heartbroken.

I ran out of the school as tears blinded my vision, my lungs burn as I ran and cried at the same time, my head started pounding due to the different thoughts and emotions buzzing throughout my entire being. But most of all, my heart was aching, with every beat, I felt a part of my heart dwindle.

I was so idiotic to think that Dean and I could actually be something. I was a fool to let my feelings take over, and now I'm alone, hurt, and lost.

I slowed down my running after being a few blocks away from school, as I catch my breath, and tried to figure out what to do next.

Then this sudden pain erupted from the back of my head, as black spots appeared in my vision, and soon enough I was enveloped in darkness.

*Dean's pnt. of view*

I watched as Jade ran out with tears spilling from her eyes, and my heart shattered at the sight. I wanted to go and comfort her, apologize, and explain my sudden actions, but I knew better, I know I couldn't do that, not now, not ever. If I truly care for her, then I'll let her go, and that's exactly what I did.

Based on the warning I received.

*Earlier this morning*

I just arrived at school, eager to see Jade, when Jake called me over.

I walked towards him ready to give him a piece of my mind, but before I could say anything, he pulled out a gun and aimed it at my chest.

"Don't say a word, now is the time for you to listen to me. I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I'm getting straight to the point. Stay away from Jade, cause if not, Daphne will take care of her. I told Daphne so she could get rid of you, but instead she wants to go after Jade. My Jade. Now I see the way you look at her, and I can tell you care for her. If you really do care for her, you'll stay away, cause if you don't, I will end you myself. Not only that, but Jade is MINE. First come first serve. You've been warned."

*End of flashback *

I care enough for Jade to know that I have to fight myself to keep her safe, no matter what.

I know that I am wrong for going after her when dating her best friend, but a human is only so strong when it comes to urges, and temptation, cause I know for sure she was my temptation.

*Jake's pnt. of view*

I watched from afar as Daphne snapped on Jade, then I watched her run out of school after Dean broke her heart, she walked right into my trap, and soon enough she was knocked out cold, in the passenger seat of my car.

I knew using those closest to her besides her family would do the trick.

But now Daphne feels nothing but hatred, but Dean that lovesick idiot was the best to fool, all I had to do was manipulate his feelings and his mind, since he was stupid enough to let his feelings cloud his judgement.

Idiot.

All I feel for him is hatred. How dare he cause my Jade to feel for him?! It sickens me. I should've killed him when I had the chance, actually maybe I will kill him, but right now my main priority is Jade. My Jade.

I looked over at her sleeping form, and all that coursed through my mind was the fact that she was now safe from my dad, but also, she now belonged to me, and she was going to be mine until death do us part.

If she does not cooperate, I can always punish her into submitting to me, so I'm not worried for our future.

Oh Jade baby, you're mine. ALL MINE.

With that a smile took place on my lips, and I drove on to the secret place made especially to keep my beautiful Jade hidden from the dangers of the world, well technically my dad, Daphne, and Dean who seems set out to jeopardize our relationship.
