Chapter 10

*Damien's pnt. of view *

I was currently at work when my personal phone rang, and a federal state number appeared.

Without hesitating, I answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Damien Reaves?" A man's voice sounded on the other side.

"Yes, and who am I speaking to?"

"Well okay, this was a requested call, so I will transfer the call to the requestor."

"And who would that be?" I asked as curiosity filled me.

"That is confidential."

"Wai- beep" I was cut off and placed on hold.

What the heck is that about ?

Then a few seconds later, someone picked up the phone "Damien, how are you old friend?" Said the voice, although it was auto tuned. I'm guessing that whoever that is doesn't want me to figure out who they are.

"Who is this?" I asked not wasting a second, although it was an idiotic move, I mean if they wanted me to know, they wouldn't use auto tune.

"With the questions already huh? Tsk, you know curiosity kills the cat right?" The stranger asked.

"Go fuck yourself whoever you are." I said, not caring who this was.

"Alright then, since you don't want to use casualties, I'll get straight to the point. Listen here, you have something that's mine, and I'm planning on taking it away from you soon, and after I do, don't bother looking for it, cause if you do, I will end what you produced with what's mine." Said the caller, confusing the heck out of me.

"Is this some kind of joke? " I asked irritated.

"No, but I'll still have the last laugh. Goodbye now, my call time is over." With that the line went dead.

What the hell was that?

Confused as heck, I knew I wouldn't be able to focus, so I decided to call it a day, and left the office.

When I reached home, I found Sarah and Jade in the kitchen fixing themselves a little lunch.

All the while the radio was blasting, and they were dancing and joking around.

I stood by the door, and looked over at them, while staying unnoticed.

I looked over at my wife, at her beauty, and thought about what it would be like if she wasn't in my life. Veronica tried to jeopardize our relationship, and I almost did lose her, but that's because of my stupidity, now I know to never choose anything over my wife.

Then I looked over at my baby girl Jade, then I realize she's a senior, so she will no longer be my baby girl soon enough, but instead my little woman, as beautiful as her mother.

I looked over at the family that I have created, and I can't help but fall in love with them by the second.

Having watched them enough, I decided to make my entrance.

"How come I wasn't invited to this party? "

"Because, you're a party pooper." Jade said as she turned off the radio.

Sarah walked up to me, and landed a perfect kiss on my lips, and I knew it was going to get heated until Jade said "get a room."

We pulled apart laughing, and I sent Sarah a look that said we would finish that later.

They finished preparing everything, and we went to sit outside, and I noticed Sarah become very fidgety.

"Hun? Are you okay?" I asked suddenly worried.

"I'm good. Okay, okay, okay!" She suddenly jumped up.

"I'm pregnant!" She announced.

"What?! Really? No way! Don't lie now mom." Jade said surprised.

"Of course I'm not lying. I wanted to wait until dinner, but I couldn't hold it in." She said giddy.

Jade suddenly jumped and hugged her, kissing her cheek.

They both then simultaneously looked at me, and I quickly jumped and embraced my wife while kissing her lovingly, and all that coursed through my mind was that she was pregnant, my family is growing and I felt accomplished, as the memories of earlier events faded away.

*Unknown pnt. Of view *

I was currently watching Damien's family in my camera monitors when I decided to taunt him.

I picked up my phone, and dialed his cell phone number, and I switched the Cameras to those in his office, and watched his reaction.

He seemed confused at the federal number, but without hesitating, he answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Damien Reaves?" I said, auto tuning my voice, to sound as that of a random man.

"Yes, and who am I speaking to?"

"Well okay, this was a requested call, so I will transfer the call to the requestor." I said, mentally enjoying my personal joke.

"And who would that be?" He asked as curiosity filled his voice.

"That is confidential."

"Wai- beep" I placed him on hold, giving me time to change the auto tune.

Then a few seconds later, I picked up the phone "Damien, how are you old friend?" I Said. I could tell by his body language the wheels were spinning in his head, and if my assumptions were correct, he will be guessing that whoever that is on the phone doesn't want him to figure out who they are.

"Who is this?" He asked not wasting a second. What an idiot! I mean if I wanted him to know who it was then, I wouldn't have used auto tune. After all these years he's still an idiot.

I watched as he got angry and confused by the second.

I've spent enough time studying Damien, Sarah, and Jade to know what certain actions mean.

Damien left the office, and I bet he was heading home.

Knowing that his trip home wouldn't take long, I let my mind drift off to a few weeks from now, and how everything will go down.

I will get what I've been after for the last 17 years, and this time, I'll make sure nothing comes between us.

I smiled at the thought of coming home in the future to my family, and my beautiful wife.

I wasn't paying attention to my monitor until I heard Sarah's voice announce "I'm pregnant!"

Anger suddenly filled me. I was planning on getting revenge a month after Jade's birthday, but that's gonna be too far away.

My patience being thin, I instantly started formulating a new plan in mind, and with that, I dialed the phone number of my no good for nothing son, knowing that he would be the only one able to get my plan in action.

*Jake's pnt. Of view *

I laid in bed sore, as my mind drifted back to last night and the way Jade beat me up.

Dang she's a hothead. And I lover her for it. Everything about her is perfect, her physical features, her kindness, and the way she carries herself.

And I'm not afraid to admit it, I want her, but Dean keeps on coming in between her and I.

Dean might be my best friend, but when it comes to Jade, there are no exceptions.

He's the one tainting her mind, that's why she doesn't love me back. He's always stopping me from making a move and claiming Jade as mine.

He's a low life son if a bitch, that is trying to sabotage my future with Jade. I know she doesn't love me the way I love her, at least not yet.

I would treat her like a queen, I would be the best lover she's ever had, but Dean just has to make my plan back track.

I gave Daphne a call, knowing her true colors maybe she would get rid of Dean, but she didn't help, instead it was a mistake calling her because now she wanted to hurt Jade. My Jade.

No one, hurts my Jade, except me, when she's being a bad girl. For example last night, I was going to punish her for resisting me, but once again, Dean just had to come along.

Jade will be mine, if it's the last thing I do. No one can take her away from me, except maybe one...

At my thoughts my phone rang, and the caller ID depicted the name of my dad, and my blood ran cold.

He was the only one capable of taking the love of my life away from me, and if I didn't abide to his commands, he would get rid of her in a heartbeat.

He already hates her, but I will do anything for Jade to be mine, even if it means taking her away to protect her from my father.

Jade Christina Reaves... you will be mine.
