Chapter 1171: Castle Killing Intent

Chapter 1171: Castle Killing Intent

Deceitful Fox and his group snapped out of their heavy emotions, each becoming filled with battle intent and murderous intent overwhelming.Sky Net wanted to deal with them, and they naturally wouldn’t sit and wait to be captured. They would fight Sky Net to the bitter end.

"I have a question. Through what channel did Sky Net learn of my hideout? This isn’t realistic or scientific. Could it be that someone from the inside leaked it?" Deceitful Fox asked, eyes blazing. "Didn’t the Third Elder of Sky Net lead the Ghost Squad to join forces with the Fourth Elder, targeting Blood Wolf Base? We were eagerly waiting for the slaughter between Ghost Squad and Shadow Guard, but the expected situation didn’t occur, and we were surrounded."

Deceitful Fox was quite puzzled by this issue. Originally, Ghost Squad was attacking Blood Wolf Base, and he was waiting for news of Fire Phoenix clashing with Sky Net. But instead of receiving the anticipated news, the fortress was heavily surrounded by Sky Net’s forces.

"I’ve looked into this issue. The information obtained is limited. All I know is that the Third and Fourth Elders of Sky Net negotiated with Fire Phoenix, likely reaching some cooperation. Moreover, of the four major bases Sky Net conquered, two have already fallen into Fire Phoenix’s hands," said Garcia. "We have no concrete evidence indicating that Fire Phoenix and Sky Net are colluding, but based on this intelligence, it seems Fire Phoenix has conspired with Sky Net. It’s highly possible that Fire Phoenix leaked the leader’s hiding place."

The intelligence under Garcia’s charge had access to even more information, just as some in the fortress were in communication with Fire Phoenix. Similarly, people in Fire Phoenix’s faction were in contact with Garcia. It wasn’t that Deceitful Fox and Fire Phoenix’s camps had spies within each other, but rather a reciprocal relationship led to this level of unavoidable leakage.

If Deceitful Fox secured victory, those feeding information to Fire Phoenix would remain loyal to Deceitful Fox, severing ties with Fire Phoenix.

If Fire Phoenix’s people achieved ultimate victory, those still holding onto Deceitful Fox would pledge allegiance to Fire Phoenix.

Under these circumstances, it turned into a situation where Fire Phoenix, Butcher, and Deceitful Fox’s camps all contained conflicting interests.

A fully transparent pond has no fish; they all knew this possibility couldn’t be avoided, so they simply let it unfold.

As long as one side crushed the other, it would naturally result in annexing the opponent’s influence into their own fold.

"Fire Phoenix, that despicable fellow, sold out my information just for two broken bases. Can’t she have some dignity and go fight Sky Net?" Deceitful Fox vented angrily. "Clinging to the Shadow Guard while doing these sneaky things, she’s worthless. If she fought Sky Net head-on, my pressure would be much reduced."

"Fire Phoenix is our enemy; we can’t expect her to help us. Fire Phoenix leaking the leader’s residence is something she is happy to do. Watching the leader fight Sky Net fiercely is what Fire Phoenix intends," Garcia said solemnly.

"Fire Phoenix must have learned of our whereabouts through someone on the inside. Looks like there are people of Fire Phoenix within the castle," Deceitful Fox confidently said, feeling rather indignant about this.

"There’s no doubt that the news of the leader’s whereabouts was leaked from within our ranks. This isn’t hard to comprehend and is quite reasonable. We have people in Butcher and Fire Phoenix’s camps, and vice versa. This can’t be avoided," Adams slowly said, seeing the issue clearly.

"Can’t we root out these traitors and execute them?" Deceitful Fox said with annoyance.

"Leader, there’s no need for that, nor is it necessary to do such a thing. Butcher and Fire Phoenix are well aware there are our people in their camps, yet they still pretend ignorance. Their purpose is clear: after determining the strength and weakness, these traitors can sway loyalty, bringing a portion to serve the master," Garcia seriously stated. "Now, with the enemy before us, those belonging to Fire Phoenix and Butcher within the castle won’t cause trouble. They can only unite with us against the enemy. Escaping is out of the question, and fighting is inevitable. Besides, finding traitors at this time would only cause unrest, which is not a wise decision."

"Alright, that’s the only choice. As long as they don’t cause trouble and fight with us against Sky Net’s attack, who they are truly loyal to is irrelevant," Deceitful Fox sighed helplessly, having no choice but to accept this outcome.

The God Organization was disintegrating. Deceitful Fox and Fire Phoenix were both vying to absorb forces loyal to them, so it wasn’t unusual to have people in the opponent’s camp. If one faction declined, their people could sow seeds of doubt.

"We can’t be bothered with Fire Phoenix and Butcher. They’re watching our battle with Sky Net as a spectacle and don’t care about our life and death. In fact, they’re hoping we’ll meet our demise soon," War Bear said. "Currently, the six major Hunting Teams of Sky Net, along with the terrifying Ghost Squad, attack under the supervision of the Third and Fourth Elders. The Terminator leads the assault against us. In terms of sheer number and overall strength, we’re outmatched. Our only reliance now is the castle’s geographical advantage. Using defense as offense to deal with the enemy has almost become our primary choice."

"Utilizing the fortress for defense against Sky Net is our sole effective strategy. We lack the strength for a proactive attack; it would only lead to death and be futile. Therefore, I recommend establishing a defensive line utilizing the castle, preventing the enemy from advancing even a step, and engaging them in a deadly battle. This is our only means of survival," said Fierce Tiger. "As long as we repel the enemy’s attacks and make them lose enough strong fighters, we can see the hope of victory. Before that, we must hold on to the end."

"At this point, we have no other options. Bring out all the available weapons. I refuse to believe those Sky Net fighters are made of steel. This time, we must inflict heavy blows," Deceitful Fox ordered venomously.

"Everything necessary will be prepared. All lethal weapons will be distributed in every corner, turning the castle into a forbidden zone. If Sky Net wants to attack, they should prepare for death," Garcia said with a smile. "Additionally, forces coming from other directions don’t have time to enter the castle and are scattered outside, making command difficult and their energies less effective."

"Let them hide; don’t let Sky Net find them. They should move opportunely, waiting for Sky Net to enter an attack position, and then seize the opportunity to annihilate the enemy," Deceitful Fox instructed.
