My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 395

Chapter 395

Third Person's POV

"Take me to the hospital. I'm in pain." Sunny was at her breaking point, feeling like she was about to pass out from the agony.

Without a word, Leo scooped her up into his arms and hurried towards the door.

"Close the door. I still have a lot of stuff inside." Sunny gritted her teeth and said.

Leo, however, ignored her. "What's more important than your life?"

Sunny could only watch helplessly as her front door remained wide open and the elevator doors swiftly closed.

Leo held her tighter, noticing the cold sweat streaming down her forehead like a small river. It was then that he realized the extent of her suffering.

"Who did this? Who stabbed you?" Leo finally had a moment to ask her in a calm but forceful tone.

Sunny shook her head. "I don't know. I don't recognize those people."

Hearing her words, Leo's face turned ashen, nearly driving him to the brink of madness. She had been attacked by strangers.

What could possibly warrant such an act of violence?

By the time they reached the first floor, Leo, seeing how much pain Sunny was in, didn't press her for more information and quickly made his way to his car.

On the way to the hospital, Sunny's face was pale, likely from excessive blood loss, and she felt dizzy.

Leo, focused on driving as fast as he could, naturally didn't dare to distract himself with more questions. His only thought was to get her to the hospital for treatment as quickly as possible.

Finally arriving at the hospital, Sunny was rushed into the emergency room. The doctor stitched her up, a total of five stitches. Seeing her arm covered in blood and feeling no pain thanks to the anesthesia, Sunny almost cried uncontrollably, her face even paler than before. Even her usually rosy lips had lost their color, turning a sickly white.

After the doctor finished bandaging her and gave some instructions, Leo carried Sunny out of the hospital once again.

When they had first arrived, Leo had been too preoccupied to take any precautions, so the fact that he had carried a young girl into and out of the hospital was noticed and photographed by many.

However, thanks to Sunny's long hair covering her face and her deliberate effort to bury her face in Leo's chest, people only managed to capture images of Leo holding a young woman. The identity of the woman in his arms remained unclear, and only the nurses and doctors had a clear view. But bound by professional ethics, they dared not disclose the identity of the patient. Thus, it quickly became a hot topic of speculation among the public.

Back in the car, Sunny finally regained a bit of her strength. She raised her arm and looked at the thick bandages, thinking about the stitching process and feeling dizzy again.

"Who on earth have you offended? Why would someone stab you?" Leo suspected that Sunny might have unknowingly crossed some thugs or troublemakers, so he frowned and asked her.

Sunny shook her head. "I have no idea. I don't know them. As soon as those two men got out of the car, they tried to drag me in. When I fought back, they got angry and started stabbing at me. They were aiming for my heart, but I blocked with my hand. Maybe they were scared off by my fighting skills."

Just as Leo was about to ask more questions, his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and answered.

After listening to the caller in a dark expression, he hung up without a word. Then he opened his phone screen and clicked on a video. After watching it, his blood seemed to freeze, and his anger burned fiercely inside. His eyes turned as cold as ice. He handed the phone to Sunny and said, "Someone recorded the fight between you and those two guys and uploaded it to the internet."

Hearing this, Sunny quickly leaned over to take a look. Sure enough, the video showed her fighting with the two men in front of a van. At the time, she had only been thinking about self-defense and hadn't realized how daring it was to fight two men by herself. Watching the video now, she realized how brave she had been.

"When did you start learning taekwondo?" Leo had already experienced her prowess before, when she had thrown him to the ground with a single move, leaving him dazed.

"I started learning taekwondo when I was six. Back then, a bunch of little boys used to knock me to the ground all the time. I suffered a lot," Sunny replied with a wry smile.

Leo's face twitched slightly as he imagined a little girl being bullied by a group of boys, looking so pitiful and helpless that it tugged at his heartstrings.

"Why did your mom send you to learn this? Don't most little girls learn to paint or dance or something?"

Sunny shook her head in confusion. "I don't know why my mom made me learn this. Maybe she was afraid that I'd be bullied by men when I grew up. I used to complain about the hardships I went through, but now I'm really grateful. At least, I have the ability to protect myself when facing bad people and save my own life."

Leo nodded. "That's true. Judging from the video, you're definitely not someone who can't fight back. You managed to beat two grown men and make them flee in disgrace. That's really impressive."
