Chapter 55: Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh~

Chapter 55: Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh~

"Heh." A blonde haired man with clear Chinese features despite having blue eyes sneered coldly as he adjusted his glasses. His gaze was locked on a figure making it’s descent on a flying broom."Do I call her foolish or brave?"

He raised his hand as the tip of his index finger began to flow in an ethereal blue glow. Swiftly, his hand made several complicated shapes and symbols in the air, quickly drawing out a runic circle.

Drawing a runic circle was a extremely delicate and very complicated process that took years to master. Even powerful experts still had to use spell books that illustrated the runes. Yet, this fellow took a mere five seconds to finish his.

"Die for me!" A cold light flashed in his spectacles as he made a grabbing motion in the air.

Meanwhile, on a random airliner that just happened to be passing by that area.

"The current weather is cloudy, the temperature is 20°c, and the time remains 2:00pm. Thank you for choosing XXX airlines." The sweet voice of the air hostess resounded see she made the compulsory announcements. It was her first day at work and an air hostess, and she was excited, but, due to a lingering childhood trauma, she has a deathly fear of planes. She always feared that they would crash.

Luckily, her luck was good and the plane showed no signs of crashing. As a matter of fact, they would even land in a few minutes time!

However, an illusory palm suddenly appeared in the air beside the plane and made a grabbing motion.

BANG!

Several passengers were suddenly thrown off their seats as the plane violently shook .

"What is happening?"

"Ow! My nose!"

"What happened?"

"What is going on?!!"

At this time, it was the job of the air hostess to try and keep everyone calm in these kinds of situations. However, her childhood trauma unexpectedly flared up and she was the one panicking the most!

"F*ck! We’re all going to die! I knew this plane would crash! I just knew it! Uwaah, I don’t want to die! Mom, save me~"

As these words were aired out loud on the comms, there was a widespread commotion.

In other words, her panic was making the passengers to panic.

"F*ck! The plane is going to crash?!"

"Nooo! Somebody help! Somebody save us!"

"I don’t want to die!"

"Uwaah, I’m scared mommy!"

"F*ck, Little Xin! Mommy is scared shitless too!"

The pilots in the cockpit were all panicking as they themselves had no idea what the f*ck was going on.

The engines were all online. The fuel tank was still full. The plane was in peak condition, but why the f*ck were they suspended in the air?!

If the plane had been going down, the. They would have at least known the procedures to follow and tried to crash-land somewhere.

What were they to do, bring suspended in the air?!

Unable to do anything, they called back to tye airlines and made their report.

[Update: Plane is hanging in midair. Unable to move. Perfect condition, faults are currently unknown. We are awaiting your suggestions!

The uncles at the tower control were speechless.

At the same time, a certain sister witch lady gleefully soared in the sky. Her control over her flying broom was impeccable, such that her flight was so smooth that it would put birds to shame.

"Eh?" She suddenly stopped in her tracks and tilted her head slightly. There was a magic fluctuation somewhere around her.

"What the flying f*ck..."

If it had been on the ground, then she would most certainly have had a hard time locating the source of this magic fluctuation. But, in the boundless skies, the source was easy to pinpoint.

F*ck it was impossible to miss, even!

An entire plane, those kinds that were really big and had at least four engines, was hanging suspended in the air!

Just how was that even possible?!

"Whoa! This is some powerful magic!" Sister witch lady was amazed upon looking at the plane. She was a simple person who rarely bothered to stress her mind.

If not, was it not common sense to suspect something wrong?

Suddenly, the plane moved forward at an astonishing speed, so ready that it became a blur. The pilots and passengers alike were thrusted backwards into their seats as the plane accelerated at an insane pace.

BANG!

Suddenly, it stopped once more. The pilots and passengers alike were once again thrust out of their seats and the entire plane was in disarray.

Luckily, it seemed like no one got hurt. The plane began to move at a normal speed once again, and everything went back to normal.

Cries of: "Thank goodness! and We’re saved! continuously rang out within the plane. In a few minutes, the steel bird landed peacefully at the airport.

Everyone was relieved.

Meanwhile, the blonde man on the ground waved his hand and dispelled the runic circle.

His goal had been achieved.

***

Sister witch lady was in free fall, plunging majestically through the unending expanse of blue skies. She was light as a bird, completely unrestrained.

Free from worries—

Free from worries your sister!

She was plummetting at a speed so fast that she could not open her eyes!

Ahhhhh~ I’m going to dieeeeeeee~

Indeed, She had become one of the first humans on earth to be hit by a plane. No, the only one out of all the humans on earth as a matter of fact.

Her witch’s broom was broken and her black dress fluttered furiously against the wind.

She was merely a small Witch of the First Level Lay Arcanist rank. How was she to survive falling from such a height?!

Aaaahhhhh!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh~

I’m dying! I’m dying!

No! I must stop screaming!

She thought to herself.

I have to think of a way to survive this fall! Think, Chu Miao, think!

She racked her brain hard as she began considering multiple things she could do to keep herself alive.

Drawing a runic circle is out of the option...

Aaaaahhhhhh!

Using Arcane Treasures are also out of the option...

Aaaaahhhhhh!!

I can only use mana imbalance to try and resist gravity!

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh~

Meanwhile, Xiao Shen and Tian Hua sat down at a window side table in the small restaurant. This place was far bigger and more refined than a cafe, but was far inferior to the five star restaurants in Beijing.

Because of this, many people in the University Town tended to come to this place instead of going to an ordinary cafe and, judging by how it was a three stirred building, there was enough space no matter the crowd.

"What would you be having, please?" A kind looking man came forward wearing a waiter’s apparel. He poured them both two glasses of water as he asked.

"Hmm. I’ll be having Yangzhou fried rice." Xiao Shen nodded his head and looked at Tian Hua. "Hua-jie?"

"Same." Tian Hua thought for a second before shrugging.

Whatever Xiao Shen was having, that was what she would have.
