My Dragon King System

Chapter 404

Chapter 404

Right then, his body began to shift and the human form he took dissolved into what could be described as his true form.

The Body Of The Dragon God.

His body expanded, growing larger and larger until planets became mere pebbles around. The scales on his body shimmered with cosmic light, galaxies and nebulae swirling across his form.

His eyes glowed with purple fire, and his wings stretched out across the void, each one trailing streams of stardust.

He was massive, incomprehensible and a being of unfathomable power.

Aiden placed both of his massive clawed hands against the barrier, and immediately, channeled the power of his authorities all at once.

As the Eternal Arbitrator; The flow of time beyond the barrier slowed to a crawl. The movements of the approaching forces became sluggish, their advance grinding to near stillness. Every second that passed for them was stretched into hours, giving Aiden precious moments to reinforce his defenses.

As the Weaver Of Fortune: He reached into the threads of fate and began weaving. Every possible future where the barrier broke was severed as he forced destiny itself to bend toward one outcome: the barrier must hold.

As the Sovereign Of Annihilation:

Raw destructive power that could unmake anything it touched, gathered at his claws. He channeled it into the barrier, reinforcing it with the concept of destruction as anything that tried to pass through would be met with obliteration.

As the Lord Of the Mind Sea: He extended his consciousness outward, touching the minds of every being on the other side of the barrier. He filled them with doubt, with hesitation, and fear. He made them question their purpose, their strength, and their ability to succeed.

As The King Of The Forge: New layers of the barrier formed as he created walls upon walls, until the barrier was no longer a single boundary but a labyrinth of impenetrable force.

As the Dominator Of The Void: He twisted the dimensions around the barrier, warping the distance between the enemy and the wall. What should have been a few meters became light-years and every step they took forward was met with infinite distance.

As the King Of Endless Forms: He duplicated the barrier, then duplicated it again and again. Thousands of identical barriers layered on top of each other, each one almost as strong as the original.

As The Limitless: Each passing fraction of a second where he fought against the army behind, only evolved him more, pushing him inches by inches to ascended beyond the limits of his current power.

The barrier glowed with this severe light, reinforced by every ounce of Aiden's power.

Then, the angels of Ah'Me arrived and there were hundreds materializing their forms glowing with light.

Uriel appeared among them and they spread out along the barrier, each one placing their hands against it.

Energy flowed from their bodies, adding their strength to Aiden's, and together, they held the line.

On the other side of the barrier, there were hundreds of them as well.

Most of Kethseia's army looked like figures clad in dark green and gold armor. They also had massive mechanical wings extending from their backs as Halos floated above their heads. In their hands, they carried enormous swords with glowing runes.

The strange man who had disappeared alongside with Kethseia had also transformed into one of these, given that it was always his true form.

At the front of the army, was Kethseia who had taken her true terrifying form.

Her body was immense, wreathed in swirling green mist. Her eyes burned with green fire, and her presence radiated power that warped the space around her.

She raised her hand toward the barrier, and channel her power as Mistress Of The Unseen

'Concealment'

Aiden felt as his techniques began to disappear.

The layers of the barrier he had created with replication began to fade from existence.

The twisted space he had warped with his authority over Space began to unravel and the infinite distance collapsed back into meters.

Every defense he had erected, every reinforcement he had woven, was being systematically erased from reality.

Concealed and made as though they had never existed.

Aiden poured more power into the barrier, reinforcing it again and again, but Kethseia's authority countered him at every turn.

Her soldiers moved forward, raising their massive swords as they struck the barrier in unison, creating an impact that made the void ripple.

The angels held firm, but the pressure was immense.

Aiden knew couldn't hold this forever as Kethseia's power was too strong.

There was a gap in her authority over Concealment compared to the level at which wielded his.

He needed help.

With a thought, he forced the shadow creature out of his inventory.

The creature materialized in the void beside him, looking like a speck of dark pebble beside Aiden's massive etheral-like body.

"Inform your Lord," Aiden said, his voice echoing across the void. "That the Seventh Universe is under attack!"

The shadow creature bowed its head, then dissolved into darkness as Aiden turned his focus back to the barrier.

—-

The champions of Dragonhold materialized in the capital city's main square, returned from the Holy Grail dimension by Adam's power.

For a moment, there was only confusion. People looked around, disoriented, trying to understand what had just happened. Why had the gods sent them back? What was the emergency?

Then someone screamed.

A woman near the fountain stumbled backward, witb her hand flying to her mouth as her eyes went wide with terror.

Standing in front of her was a man. He looked exactly as she remembered him. The same face. The same build. The same scar across his cheek that he had gotten in a farming accident years ago.

But he was dead.

She had buried him five years ago.

"No," she whispered. "No, you're not real. You're not—"

The dead man's eyes locked onto hers. His expression was hollow and empty.

Then he lunged.

She screamed and ran.

All across the square, the dead began to appear.

Translucent figures materialized out of thin air, their forms flickering like ghosts. But they weren't ghosts. They were real and could be touched.

And they were everywhere.
