Chapter 515 Bo Fengyin: Can I Be Saved Again? 2
Countless people desperately shouted, hoping Her Majesty the Queen could hear their most sincere adoration and reverence.
The White Dragon, Si Mingjing, heard the voices of the people.
At that moment, she soared above Shendu, looking down at the citizens below, her heart burning hot.
Si Mingjing considered that what she had done wasn’t much, even less than a child’s contribution, yet the people liked her, adored her, respected her. For the first time, she experienced the profound pride of being cherished by her people after shouldering the responsibilities of a sovereign.
The White Dragon, Si Mingjing, let out a long cry and said to the citizens of Shendu, "The volcanic eruption has been stopped! It’s not my achievement alone, but also that of Prince Bo, and my son, Bo Fengyin! They contributed far more than I!"
"Bo Fengyin? Who? That name sounds a bit familiar!" a citizen wondered aloud.
"Isn’t that the child often by Prince Bo’s side? Isn’t he Prince Bo’s child? He’s actually Her Majesty the Queen’s own flesh and blood?"
"I know that child! Prince Bo dotes on him. I heard that among all the children in Prince Bo’s family, the Prince loves him the most, almost always keeping him by his side!"
"Wow, so he’s actually Her Majesty the Queen’s own, a Little Dragon? We never knew! It looks like he’s injured too—look at his little tail!"
The citizens’ hearts ached for him!
One well-informed person said, "The Little Black Dragon was the first to jump into the volcano! At that time, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. It was just after the volcano erupted. I captured it with my telescope. I have a high-definition photo! I’ll definitely post it on Bowei later. That’s Her Majesty the Queen’s son!"
The White Dragon, Si Mingjing, didn’t linger in the skies above Shendu for long. She was eager to treat her child’s wounds and quickly returned to the Prince Residence with the Black Dragon, Bo Leng.
A medical team was already on standby.
As soon as Si Mingjing and Bo Leng landed, they transformed into their human forms, as did the Little Fire Dragon, Bo Fengyin.
Bo Fengyin was still wearing his little black silk pajamas, revealing pale, tender legs now covered in scratches and bruises—a ghastly sight.
One look and Si Mingjing felt a pang of pain, her heart aching for him!
She hurried over, picked up Bo Fengyin, stroked his fluffy bangs, and took him to have his wounds treated.
Ye Shen and Fengjue also landed, collapsing pathetically on the ground, unable to even get up.
Mo Yinhe, standing with the medical team, glanced at the two, then covered his forehead with his hand. He really didn’t want to acknowledge them. So useless!
Ye Shen also hoped his elder brother wouldn’t focus on him; it was too embarrassing.
Ye Shen said, "Brother, Sister-in-law is injured too!"
Si Mingjing was dressed in a long-sleeved shirt and trousers, so her wounds were covered and not visible from Mo Yinhe’s angle. However, Ye Shen’s words had their intended effect. Mo Yinhe strode over to Si Mingjing with his long legs, knelt, and rolled up her trouser leg.
With just one glance, Mo Yinhe’s heart clenched painfully.
"How did you get hurt this badly?"
Mo Yinhe didn’t know what she had endured inside the volcano. The heartache in his eyes was undeniable.
Si Mingjing, holding Bo Fengyin, said, "It’s nothing, don’t worry. Our son is injured; let’s get his wounds treated first."
"How can it be nothing?" Mo Yinhe’s voice deepened, his expression stern. "You think your legs are fine? They’re all scraped up!" He shouted to the nearby doctors and nurses, "Come here! Treat my wife’s wounds!"
Hearing him, the doctors and nurses all rushed over.
Mo Yinhe knelt on one knee before Si Mingjing. He reached out and very carefully rolled up her trouser leg further, afraid that the slightest rough movement might aggravate her wounds.
"What exactly happened?"
Si Mingjing didn’t answer.
Ye Shen struggled to his feet and walked over with exhausted steps. "Sister-in-law transformed into the White Dragon," he explained. "She used her dragon tail to smash through the magma walls, creating new tunnels. She connected the erupting volcano’s main channel to other lava flows, diverting the magma. She was smashing away for hours. How could she not be hurt?"
Mo Yinhe felt a pang of pain just listening to it. His gaze fixed on Si Mingjing’s injured leg. He took the disinfectant from the nurse’s hand and said, "I’ll do it!"
Si Mingjing feigned nonchalance. "It’s really nothing. Fengyin was at it for three hours longer than us."
Mo Yinhe lifted his gaze to the child’s face, who wasn’t even frowning from the pain.
The little fellow was the spitting image of him, a miniature version of himself. His golden pupils stared unblinkingly at Mo Yinhe, like a curious baby with wide, observant eyes; he had been watching for quite a while.
Mo Yinhe reached out, ruffled the child’s hair, and said, "You truly are your father’s son. You’re my pride."
"Uncle! Uncle!" Bo Fengyin shouted for Bo Leng.
Bo Leng walked over, standing tall and looking down at them.
Bo Fengyin tilted his head up at Bo Leng and said, "Uncle! He looks just like this Little Dragon!"
"Mmm-hmm," Bo Leng confirmed. "He’s your father."
Someone like Bo Leng was a natural-born leader, exuding a compelling presence. He was a decade older than Mo Yinhe, in his thirties, and appeared more mature and colder.
However, Mo Yinhe was also a man of proud and exceptional temperament, with an elegant posture and a distinguished air. Even to a child, he exuded a powerful aura—Bo Fengyin had sharp judgment!
Just one look, and Bo Fengyin decided this dad wasn’t bad at all!
"He said this Little Dragon is his pride!" Bo Fengyin exclaimed.
He’d always thought that being so mischievous and troublesome, he must be a thorn in the adults’ side, definitely not the "model child from next door" that parents always boasted about. But now, this father before him said he was his pride! Suddenly, Bo Fengyin felt no pain at all!
Bo Leng stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his gaze on the child’s innocent face. "Is there any doubt of his quality? I taught him."
Indeed, anyone he taught would naturally be outstanding!
Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps approached. Lou Manman rushed over, calling out, "Fengyin! Fengyin!"
"Aunt Manman, this Little Dragon is here!"
Lou Manman jogged closer. Seeing Si Mingjing carefully tending to Bo Fengyin’s wounds, and the shocking injuries on Little Fengyin’s legs, tears of distress immediately welled in her eyes and spilled over. "How did he get hurt so badly?"
Lou Manman had practically raised Bo Fengyin herself; how could she bear to see him like this?
"Aunt Manman, this Little Dragon isn’t hurt at all!" Bo Fengyin chirped. "This Little Dragon has a mom and dad now! And they don’t dislike this Little Dragon!"
Bo Fengyin was positively beaming!
He excitedly introduced them to Lou Manman, "This is my dad! This is my mom!"
"I know, dear," Lou Manman said gently.
"This is my uncle," Bo Fengyin continued. "Even though he’s a bit of a scaredy-cat, a nephew can’t look down on his uncle for being a scaredy-cat! This Little Dragon thinks he can still be saved!"
Bo Fengyin spoke with utmost seriousness. His parents didn’t dislike him, so how could he dislike his uncle?
Ye Shen covered his face with his hand, wishing he could howl at the sky. I’m not a coward! How am I a coward? Even Fengjue hasn’t recovered his composure yet! Who could stand rolling around in scorching magma?
