My crazy Cultivation Path

CHAPTER 132

CHAPTER 132

“Alright. Let’s see who dies first,” Velio declared.

He unleashed several air blades at Dina, no doubt revealing his affinity card in the process.

But Dina swung twice, vertically.

Two massive, far larger blades of darkness erupted from her sword and crashed down on Manigo and Velio.

Velio shot a glance at Manigo. The message was instant. Manigo understood.

He forced himself to vomit. The vomit wasn’t filthy at all; it was crystal clear, like pure water.

With sweeping gestures, the water began rippling and swirling around him.

Seeing that, Velio dashed toward him.

Out of nowhere, a transparent sword pierced straight through Manigo’s back.

Velio slashed behind Manigo—nothing. No blade.

Manigo, still alive, raised a water barrier in front of both of them.

Dina’s monstrous attack was about to mow them down.

A laugh rang out behind them.

“A simple barrier… You really think that’s going to stop this?” Dina mocked.

She sent another colossal blade of darkness hurtling toward them.

“Shit.”

That was Velio’s only thought before the first wave hit.

Boom.

Boom.

As the darkness exploded, Dina stood motionless and watched.

A scream tore through the air.

Velio burst out of the shadows, body shredded to the flesh, charging Dina like a madman.

She instantly noticed he was running in mid-air, spiraling like the eye of a tornado.

“You… What the hell are you trying to do?” she asked.

But Velio was screaming too loud to answer.

From his right, Manigo came barreling in. He’d lost his right arm and his left leg. Still, he threw a left-hook straight at her.

“Seriously, does your strategy ever change?” Dina sighed.

Then she vanished.

Manigo didn’t even have time to blink—his head was already flying through the air.

“One down,” Dina thought.

She turned toward Velio… and felt something rip through her shoulder.

Whatever it was crawled upward inside her flesh, toward her head.

She ripped open a shadow portal and dove in.

Velio looked around frantically, missing the portal that had opened right behind him.

Dina shot out to finish him.

Yet the wind current generated by Velio’s steps slowed her down.

Suddenly, dozens of air blades came screaming toward her.

She dodged them effortlessly.

In an instant, the wind died.

Velio spun around, raised his sword straight up, locked eyes with Dina and snarled:

“Imagine… a shockwave with the force of a terrifying tornado. Scary, huh? Well, guess what you’re about to taste.”

He brought his sword down.

A devastating, gigantic air blade took shape and roared toward her.

At the exact same moment, Dina’s sword extended—its reach exploding to fifteen meters.

“And you, Velio… Do you know why my earlier attacks were so slow to reach you?” she asked calmly. “Simple. I only just broke through to rank eight. I needed to get used to my new speed. And in this form, I can reach half the speed of shadow itself.”

She swung horizontally.

No dark blade appeared. It was the sword itself that would deliver the final blow.

From Velio’s point of view.

He saw his attack collide with Dina’s sword.

Then he realized his own torso had been cleanly sliced in two. Dina was already standing beside him.

“Oh… You really thought I’d let your little tornado hit me? Don’t make me laugh.”

She watched him collapse.

“One last piece of advice, Velio: being rank eight doesn’t automatically make your attacks fast. That’s why training matters.”

Her eyes and legs returned to normal. She dropped to the ground, exhausted.

Dina had done something insane.

She had broken through to rank eight… in the middle of battle.

A shaky laugh escaped her.

She sat in lotus position and immediately began cultivating.

“It’s because I hang out with lunatics every damn day that ideas like this even cross my mind… But I’m not in the mood to explode today, thanks.”

As the lingering darkness finally seeped into her body, it skyrocketed her speed and strength, pushing her limits to the absolute edge. She had seized the moment to breakthrough.

And now, she breathed.

Alone among the corpses.
