Chapter 602 - 581 The Loneliest Person_1

Ran Zhihan walked alone on the street, like a zombie, devoid of any sensations. The heavy rain poured down, but she silently walked on, completely unaware that it was even raining.

She only knew how much her heart ached, helplessly watching her husband speaking such heartless words to her. She could have resolved this issue in a better way, but why had she acted so impulsively, letting things turn out this way? Why did every action she took fail to earn his praise?

I didn’t expect him to say such cruel words to you, and even less did I expect you to choose to leave him, running away from home all alone. Would you give me a chance? I understand this might not be the right time to say this, but I hope you’ll consider it. I truly love you!"

Ran Zhihan looked up to Chen Gang, and he offered a wry smile. It hurt even more to know that the man before her was responsible for all the outcomes. Why did he always pretend to be so innocent in front of her? Did he really believe that he wasn’t the one at fault?

Chen Gang reached out to take Ran Zhihan’s hand, but she brushed his hand aside.

"Chen Gang, are you satisfied now? Because of you, I’ve lost everything I cared about. My family is now in shambles. I have a home I can’t return to. Even though I have relatives by my side, I can’t embrace them. Are you happy?

You don’t need to tell me it wasn’t intentional. I don’t want to know whether it was deliberate or not. What I want to know is how you could bear to ruin my family. I saw you as a good friend and never dreamed that we could grow old together. Why are you so presumptuous? Do you realize what your actions have brought me? Now, I’ve become the loneliest person in the world. Do you think I’m not miserable enough? Do you want to go on mocking me, harming me?"
