Chapter 412: The Reasons Why Woman Quarrel with Men
Chapter 412: The Reasons Why Woman Quarrel with Men
Julian’s voice came from the carriage as if it was ringing by her ears.
Margaret was stunned, and her expression became weirder. Then her face got hot unconsciously.
What did he say? A child?
She thought Orlenna was just saying it.
The Jorgansens did not dare to talk to her about the baby right now, so she could have a little more freedom for a while.
But Julian did not think so.
"I-I told you no way!"
Margaret muttered in a low voice. She had a strange feeling.
Was she excited?
Having a baby would make her ugly. It was not worth getting excited about. She shook her head and threw this feeling out. She didn’t want to do so. "Something like this really needs your permission."
Julian didn’t force her and even showed such respect for her.
Margaret looked at Julian suspiciously and thought, "Is he planning a trap for me?"
"Of course, of course, I don’t want to."
"Okay. Never mind."
Hearing Julian’s reply, Margaret turned to look at him in disbelief.
She couldn’t believe that he agreed just like that.
She even felt that the man by her side did not seem to be the true Julian.
Maybe it was because she didn’t know Julian well enough, or maybe it was because Julian’s thinking had changed so much since he got married.
Margaret muttered in his heart, not concealing it at all, and blurted out unconsciously.
The man beside her heard it clearly. Julian raised his eyebrows and suddenly turned his head to look at her.
"Are you thinking that I have a twin brother?"
"That’s not funny..." thought Margaret, "Okay he doesn’t have."
"Julian, do you want a child?"
Margaret felt that there was something wrong with this question.
The child would be both of theirs, but after all, the last name would be Jorgansen. And half of the child would be Julian’s bloodline, and she would be surely going to give all her inheritance to her child.
Wouldn’t that be no different from giving all to Julian?
She now understood why men were in a hurry to have children.
Before Julian spoke, Margaret quickly stopped him and said, "Forget it. I won’t give you a chance."
Julian raised his eyebrows and glanced at her.
Today Margaret was bright and beautiful. Her eyes sparkled and she had been smiling ever since she left the Jorgansen’s.
It seemed that everything that had happened in the Jorgansen’s tonight had completely satisfied Margaret.
"I said. If you don’t want it, we won’t."
Julian did not seem to be dissatisfied with her answer.
On the contrary, Margaret felt a little uncomfortable when she heard this answer.
She wondered, Why do I get mad when Julian listens to me? What’s wrong with me? Why do I get angry so easily? Am I ill?> "That’s good. My mother is completely afraid that I will be wronged in your family. As long as you don’t let me be wronged, it doesn’t matter if we have a child or not." Margaret grunted and spoke as if encouraging herself or talking to herself. She said, ignoring her discomfort. Julian didn’t say anything else and just drove carefully. For a moment, the carriage was exceptionally quiet. Margaret suddenly felt a little nervous about the silence and could not help turning her head to Julian and asking, "Why don’t you speak?" "I’m driving!" Julian responded very simply. Margaret curled her lips and rolled her eyes. Julian must have had a problem with her. She could have ignored this man’s opinion. However, for some reason, Margaret felt uncomfortable with Julian acting like this. "Julian, are you unhappy?" Margaret asked carefully. Julian’s answer was still very simple and concise. "No." "You are, but you refuse to admit it." Margaret snorted and muttered. But even if Julian wasn’t happy, she wouldn’t stoop to him. In any case, she was such a dignified and elegant lady, there was no reason put a humble manner to coax a man who worked for her. Julian’s life now totally depended on her. She’s the one who ran the family. "I don’t mean never. I just want to do it years later." "Okay!" Margaret felt that this reaction was so cold. "You are so young. You are not in a hurry to be a father, right?" Julian turned to look deeply at her but did not answer. Margaret didn’t understand him. And she did not understand that look either. She wondered Julian’s attitude. "Are you in a hurry?" Julian did not respond. Margaret felt her pride humiliated and said coldly, "If you are in a hurry, you can find a woman at random to give birth to your child. Anyway, with your appearance, even if you don’t have a lot of money, having a child won’t be difficult." "You want me to find a woman outside and have a child with her?" This time, Julian finally responded to her, but he seemed to find it funny. He stared straight at her. Margaret did not know whether he was angry or laughed. His expression made Margaret feel strange. "That crooked smile better not be a mental illness." Margaret thought. "I never expected you to be so generous." When Margaret almost couldn’t stand his gaze, Julian turned his head and continued to drive his car seriously. Margaret was about to say something when her body trembled violently. The car suddenly sped up and rushed out. Margaret was shocked. If she did not have a seat belt, she would suspect that Julian wanted to throw her out of the car. Before she could react, the car suddenly stopped. Margaret swayed and slammed into the back of the chair, almost making her internal organs shudder. "Julian..." Suddenly there was a loud bang! Before Margaret said anything, a gust of wind suddenly blew from the car door beside her. Before Margaret could react, the wind directly covered her face. Julian got off the car and left without looking back. And she was left alone in the car? "Are you insane?" Margaret felt incredible and stared at the man leaving, secretly shuddering. It was only then that she realized that she was so scared that she broke out in a cold sweat. She didn’t know if there was something wrong with him or he was just crazy. She was almost scared to death. Margaret carefully got out of the car and sit down as soon as she stood on the ground. She was truly frightened by Julian’s driving skills and lost her strength. Margaret struggled to get up. "You bastard! You want me to give you a son after treating me like this? No way!" She was determined never to have any children for Julian. "A bastard like Julian doesn’t deserve a child! Never!" thought Margaret. ... It had been 16 hours and 34 minutes since Julian ignored her. Margaret stared at the door and snorted. She would not come to him, either. "Alan!" Summer was in the break room. Seeing Alan coming out with the coffee, she waved her hand and glanced at Margaret, who was in the corner. "What’s going on?" Lily pointed at Margaret and then at the door of the CEO’s office. Didn’t they just not see each other for one night? Did they quarrel again? Ever since Margaret and Julian got married, Lily realized that they had more things to gossip about. Alan shook his head and said seriously, "Don’t ask too much." Lily was surprised at his reminder. They talked about their private life often. "Did you see that? Usually, Mr. Jorgansen doesn’t drink the coffee Alan sent." Summer raised her eyebrows. Lily nodded vigorously. "That’s right. But today, Mr. Jorgansen wanted Alan to do it." Alan was confused. "What are you talking about? It’s just a cup of coffee. There’s no difference whether I do it or Margaret does it." Alan was a little annoyed with their gossips. Summer shook her head in disagreement. "You don’t understand. How could they be the same?" "They are all provided by the company. What’s the difference?" Lily rolled her eyes and sneered. "It feels different." Then she picked up the coffee and took a sip, smiling, "It tastes sweeter from the lover." Summer nodded. "Why did Mr. Jorgansen ask you to deliver the coffee instead of Margaret? It’s so strange." "Take a guess. Why did they quarrel?" Lily narrowed her eyes and said with a profound expression. "It must be money, love rivals, parents, or children." "Mr. Jorgansen is rich. It can’t be money." Summer seemed to know the reason. Alan also said, "Forget about love rivals. Mr. Jorgansen won’t let it happen." That was why Margaret was staring at the door and looking forward to his appearance.> Lily frowned. "Could it be family issues?" Then she told herself it shouldn’t be the case since Margaret and Julian’s marriage was well-matched. "Could it be the relationship between Margaret and Mrs. Jorgansen?" It could be a tricky issue. Alan said, "It’s impossible. Mrs. Jorgansen has been living in the temple on the mountain. She never interferes in their affairs." Lily and Summer suddenly clapped their hands. They thought about the same thing. "Children!" "Children." "Right! Could it be that Margaret can’t be pregnant?" Just as Summer raised her question, Lily denied, "Margaret has a big butt. It makes no sense." Alan didn’t want to continue the discussion. "If it wasn’t Margaret, could it be..." "Mr. Jorgansen has no problem." As his assistant, Alan quickly rejected. Summer rolled her eyes at him. "Of course. We all know that." "Both of them have had a marriage check. If there is a problem, we would have known long ago." Lily snorted coldly. If it isn’t a physiological problem, then it must be a psychological one. "Could it be that Mr. Jorgansen doesn’t want children, but Margaret was pregnant without telling him?" Lily rolled her eyes at Summer. "How is that possible? Margaret just had an appendix. If she was pregnant, he would have known long ago. I guess. Margaret doesn’t want to give birth. So, Mr. Jorgansen is unhappy and ignores her." Summer nodded. "You are right. Margaret could do that." "Is she silly? So many women want to have children with Mr. Jorgansen. She doesn’t want to." Summer was disappointed. She couldn’t understand Margaret. Lily snorted and looked at Margaret, "Didn’t you know she’s dramatic?" "Don’t worry. Margaret won’t be able to hold on for long. She will compromise and agree to have children." Alan quickly covered Lily’s mouth, embarrassed and blushing. He felt that he had heard a secret that they shouldn’t talk about. "Isn’t it inappropriate for you to discuss their private life?" Summer blinked innocently and looked at Alan. "You are with us, Alan." Alan was depressed. "I think I should leave. Goodbye." It was a wrong choice to join them. He might get into trouble. Margaret continued to stare at the door. Suddenly, Julian came out. Before she could speak, he turned around and entered the conference room. He ignored her on purpose. Last night, he even slept in the study. Was he silently resisting her? If he continued to be so indifferent, she had nothing to fear. Margaret snorted and turned to the side. She would ignore him too. "Mr. Jorgansen, are you going on a business trip?" Alan was surprised when he received Julian’s order. Although the stockholders attached great importance to this project, there was no need for Julian to do it himself. "Should I tell Margaret to prepare your luggage?" Alan asked tentatively. Julian calmly interrupted. "No, other people will arrange it over there. Take me to the airport now." Then, he stood up and walked straight to the office. Alan was stunned, not knowing whether Julian was serious. When they left the office, Alan glanced at Margaret. Seeing that Margaret was about to come over, Alan quickly said to Julian, "Mr. Jorgansen, I will go and prepare the things." After that, he ran off. Margaret wanted to ask Alan what to do with a form. But he ran away before she could say something. So, she had no choice but to sit back down and meet Julian’s gaze. She snorted and turned to the side. She would never forgive him!
