Chapter 349: It Feels Good Marrying into a Rich Family

Chapter 349: It Feels Good Marrying into a Rich Family

...

Margaret looked at Julian in front of her and blinked. She wanted to withdraw her hands from his arms. "Margaret, you are so strong!"

Julian grabbed Margaret’s wrist with one hand and rubbed his forehead with his other hand. He said in a hoarse voice. He sounded a little sleepy.

Last night had been a long night. He had slept too late and he was a little tired now.

Margaret looked at him and pressed her lips together. Then, she said in a broken voice, "Julian, you’ve treated me badly."

Her eyes brimmed with tears. As she spoke, she looked as if she was about to cry.

Julian turned and saw her pitiful look.

"Haven’t you done crying for a whole night?"

Julian frowned, let go of her wrist, and wiped her eyes with his thumb. He said jokingly, "You look ugly now."

"Then why did you marry me?"

Margaret slapped his hand away. She didn’t want his pity for her.

Margaret struggled to get up, but then, she slowly covered herself back with the covers with a groan.

She buried her face in the blanket, only leaving her starry eyes showing. She muffled, "Turn around and don’t look at me."

Julian sighed and said helplessly, "Margaret, is that necessary?"

He had seen her naked last night, but she was still so shy now.

Julian had no intention of turning around. Margaret pursed her lips and gritted her teeth. "Of course. You must do that."

"Do want?"

The man suddenly turned his head and said deliberately. His low voice carried a hint of tiredness, laziness, and sexiness.

His gaze fell on Margaret’s face, then her collarbone, and down her body.

Margaret said embarrassedly, "Stop that! If you continue to look at me like that, I’ll blind you!"

"It was typical of you to do things like that. A young married woman doesn’t want to be widowed, except you."

Julian said as he threw back the covers and sat up.

Margaret widened her eyes, immediately covered her head with the blanket, and screamed, "Julian, you are shameless."

He stood by the bed, naked. He had a tall and straight figure. He met Margaret’s gaze and smiled amorously. Margaret was peeking at him from under the blankets.

"You were also shameless when you bit me last night. Don’t you remember leaving these marks on my body last night?"

"Shut up!"

Margaret hid under the covers and muttered. She was so embarrassed that she wanted to disappear.

Under the blanket, it was dark. But she couldn’t help thinking of his naked body with a fair complexion.

Margaret slapped herself twice and whispered to herself, "Margaret, hang on! You must not be seduced by beauty. He has taken your body but not your soul. You can resist his temptation with strong willpower!"

People said that the beauty of the heart was the real beauty. Virginity meant nothing.

A strong and independent woman had a golden heart no matter what had happened to her.

"What are you talking about?"

Suddenly, she felt the covers on her were thrown back and it became bright. She was exposed in the cold air, unprepared and naked.

She shivered and grabbed the blankets, screaming.

That bastard Julian wanted to see her naked!

Julian loosened his grip and the blanket fell back onto Margaret.

She instantly tucked it around herself. She looked as if she were a pupa. It was not beautiful at all.

Julian glanced at her and said in a low voice, "You would be suffocated. Get out of the blankets."

After he finished speaking, he went into the bathroom. Soon, there was the faint sound of water flowing. Margaret’s head popped out from the sheets.

When the bathroom door opened, she quickly moved.

Julian glanced at her and asked, "What do you want to eat for breakfast?

"Sandwiches, fruit smoothies, croissants, toasts, pancakes..."

"Enough!"

Julian was interrupted. Margaret pouted, "It’s the first day after getting married and you’re not going to feed me?"

A smile slowly crept across his face. He threw the towel in his hand to the ground. "Margaret, you’d better rephrase that."

He took a big step and went to the bed.

Margaret was surprised and quickly said, "I’ve been on a diet recently. I can’t eat that much actually."

After saying that, she stretched out her tender arm from the scarlet blanket, and peeked at him from under the covers.

Pursing her lips, she whispered, "Give me the money."

Now that they had gotten married and had sex, he should give her private money back to her.

Julian rubbed his eyebrows and said in a low voice, "You are my legal wife. We have registered our marriage in the civil service department. You are not a prostitute. Why should I give you money?"

Margaret was stunned and then got out from the covers instantly.

"Julian, you lied to me. You promised that you would return my money if I didn’t escape from the marriage. You didn’t keep your word."

She had gotten that money from her nephew with great difficulty! He was a dishonest merchant!

"But you have escaped."

Margaret flew into a fury when she heard Julian’s words.

She pounced on him, wanting to beat him to death.

She wouldn’t let him get away with short-changing her private money! She didn’t mind being a widow. At least her property wouldn’t be seized by him in that case.

Julian struggled to get Margaret off his leg but failed. He heard her threaten him fiercely, "You must return the money! Otherwise, I hang myself here!"

Julian looked up to find that there was only a crystal lamp above. He poked Margaret’s head and looked at the drawer at the bedside.

"The password is the date of my birthday and yours."

Margaret was stunned. Then, she understood and rushed there. She opened the drawer and found a Centurion Card inside. She covered her heart.

She carefully put it into her pocket and smiled triumphantly. She was grinning from ear to ear. She looked at Julian and pouted, "Is the money on the card mine?"

Julian nodded. The smile on her face widened. Finally, after she married, she got a Centurion Card and she was a rich woman now!

Margaret kissed it delightedly.

Suddenly, she looked up and asked seriously, "When is your birthday?"

The smile on Julian’s face instantly vanished. Looking at Margaret on the bed, he smiled coldly. She was attracted by this smile.

Julian adjusted the buttons on his sleeves, and said expressionlessly, "Margaret, give it back to me."

...

Margaret looked at Julian who had gotten on the bed and hurriedly stuffed the card under the pillow and sat on it.

"What are you doing?"

Margaret stretched out her arms to defend the Centurion Card under the pillow. Julian glanced at her and pulled her up. "Get up."

"Why should I be so obedient to you? I’m not getting up! My knees weakened and I can’t get up."

After finishing speaking, she just lay on the bed. A dead mouse felt no cold.

Julian smiled, glanced at the pillow below her, and said, "You can’t lie in bed for a whole day."

"Of course I can! Anyway, I don’t want to move today."

As she spoke, she showed him her arms and thighs that were covered in bruises. She sniffled and said pitifully, "Look at these marks and what you have done to me last night! If I can get out of bed, you would be impotent."

Julian sneered in his heart, "Then I should take it as a compliment?"

"Then you must lie on the bed. If you dare to get out of it, I’ll break your legs."

Julian’s gaze swept Margaret’s fair thighs, which had two clear finger marks on them.

He grabbed the blanket on the bed and covered her with it. He then got off the bed.

Margaret’s head popped out from the blanket. Looking at Julian’s back, she stretched her neck and said, "You can’t break my legs! And I don’t want to be obedient to you!"

Hearing this, Julian turned his head and stared at Margaret. His gaze was so piercing that she didn’t dare to say anything else.

She pursed her lips and carefully pulled the blanket up to her head. She whispered, "It, it won’t hurt to obey your orders."

After all, she had received his Centurion Card.

And she had married into his family, so she couldn’t go against him over and over again.

Seeing Julian leave the room, Margaret sighed with relief. She quickly reached the card under the pillow and shouted to Julian outside the door, "Don’t forget my breakfast!"

He didn’t reply.

They were in a hotel suite. Margaret knew that Julian was still here so she lay on the bed as he told her to.

After a while, there was a slight noise outside. A waiter had brought breakfast, accompanied by Alan.

"Mr. Anderson, haven’t you gone on a honeymoon?"

Alan glanced at the closed bedroom door, then quickly lowered his head and dropped his gaze.

Alan thought, ’It is typical of Julian to value work over his private life. On the first day after getting married, he calls me and works in the early morning, instead of being with his lovely wife.

’Mr. Anderson, thanks to your hard work, the Jorgansen Group has a promising future.

’If needed, I could die for the company!’

Julian raised his head. His gaze moved from the document in his hand to Alan. He smiled gently and said, "A honeymoon? What if she escapes on the way? Should I marry you if that happens?"

Alan shuddered and thought, "I’m not gay!"

He was straight!

"She’s married. Even if she escapes, she would have nowhere to go."

"What are you muttering about?"

Julian asked in a low voice, and Alan straightened his back and shook his head. "Nothing. Sorry to disturb you when you just get married. Mr. Anderson, you are very professional!"

The tip of Julian’s pen flew across the document like a dragon dancing in the wind.

The last stroke was powerful and dazzling.

The document snapped shut. Julian swept his gaze across Alan and said sharply, "If you know that you’ve disturbed me, why don’t you go now?"

"Okay!"

Alan shivered, picked up the documents on the coffee table, and ran away without looking back.

These documents were not urgent and could be signed in two days. However, Julian had asked him to bring them. It was exhausting to be the assistant of such a diligent president.

"Get out of bed and have breakfast!"

The bedroom door opened. Margaret in the red covers on the bed murmured, "Julian, I can’t get out of bed."

At first, she hadn’t noticed it. When she got the card and relaxed, she felt that she was aching all over.

Margaret poked her head out of the blankets and glared at Julian. She complained, "It’s all your fault."

He put on a mocking smile and replied coldly, "It’s the first day after getting married. If I have you escaped, I would be too useless."

Margaret thought, "It was just a shameless excuse."

"I can’t get up to eat."

"Then starve. Didn’t you say that you wanted to lose weight? The first day after getting married would be a brand new and a perfect start."

"Julian!"

Margaret sat up angrily and clutched the covers in her hand.

Were it Julian’s neck, she would break it mercilessly.

"You didn’t call me that in bed last night."

Julian stood by the bed and looked down at her. His expressionless face was very annoying.

If only she could beat him.

"Julian!"

Margaret flushed with anger. She looked even more beautiful against the red covers. She curled her lips and whispered, "I can’t get up. What should I do?"

If he mentioned what had happened last night again, she would cry. Julian turned around and treated her to breakfast in bed. "Do you need me to feed you?"

Seeing the spoon of soup to her mouth, Margaret was a little flattered. Under the man’s gaze, she carefully took a sip.

She worried, "Is the soup poisoned?"

"I’ll drink it myself."

Margaret smiled and took the bowl of soup. While drinking, she asked, "How much money is on your card?"

She wanted to make sure that all the pains last night were worthwhile.

Although she was enjoying it, she was at a disadvantage.

Julian didn’t want to answer such a meaningless question. After she finished the soup, he took the bowl and got up to leave.

"I haven’t eaten my sandwiches yet."

"Forget it. You might make the sheets dirty. By the way, you should get up and wash the sheets."

"Why should I do that? Why didn’t you do that? You have also slept on it!"

Julian turned his head and smiled amorously. "It was your blood."

Margaret was speechless.

She thought angrily, "And who did it? It’s he who has made her bleed!"

In the bathroom.

The scarlet sheets filled the basin.

Margaret squatted on the ground and clumsily washed the sheets.

"Other presidents are so nice to their wives. When their wives hit them, the presidents would ask if their hands hurt.

"But Julian has asked me to wash the sheets! Aren’t there any maids at home?

"On the first day after getting married, I was asked to wash the sheets. I haven’t done this at home. And we are at the hotel. Can’t he just let the waiter change the sheets?"

Looking at the faint blood on the sheets, Margaret gritted her teeth and rubbed it. She had lost her virginity and was still in pain. Why should she wash the sheets?

"There are 800 thousand in the card. A fixed amount of money will be transferred to it every month."

Julian’s cool voice came from behind Margaret.

The man looked down at her as if he were an emperor.

Margaret turned and hugged Julian’s thigh.

It felt good marrying a president!
