Chapter 256: Crashing the Party
Chapter 256: Crashing the Party
After speaking, Seraphina Redgrave disregarded Ronan Yates’ reaction, hung up the phone, and put it away. She pulled her zipper up to the top, grabbed a bottle of alcohol from a nearby table with a slow clench of her fingers, and exuded a murderous aura.
Young Master Finn was still laughing arrogantly with the woman in his arms, completely oblivious to the danger behind him.
There were people all around.
Seraphina skillfully maneuvered through the crowd, stepping onto the edge of the dance floor, leaping into the air, and landing in front of the two people.
The purple lights cast over her pure white tracksuit.
Young Master Finn was startled by her sudden appearance. Seeing her face made him raise his thick eyebrows, thinking it was yet another vain woman seeking his attention.
So he reached out to pull Seraphina’s mask off, mumbling, "High schoolers shouldn’t play in adult bars. If you encounter danger..."
Seraphina didn’t give him the chance to finish, raising the bottle in her hand and smashing it directly at his head—quick, precise, relentless, without any hesitation.
In an instant, not only did Young Master Finn fall silent, but everyone around also went silent.
"Bang—" The crisp sound hit everyone’s ears as fragments of the shattered bottle flew around.
He seemed petrified, standing there, looking at the girl in front of him, not yet reacting, and belatedly raising his hand to touch his head.
"Blood!" Young Master Finn screamed.
Everyone present was dumbfounded, including Melody Lockwood, staring blankly at the scene before them.
What on earth just happened?
Is this woman insane? Who would dare move against someone like Young Master Finn! Is she tired of living?
"Oh my God!" Ronan Yates and Rory, standing above, were also dumbfounded by the scene.
"Since when did Seraphina have a grudge against Young Master Finn?" Beatrice Fawcett asked.
This Finn Family is notoriously troublesome and hard to deal with.
"What are we standing here for? Go support Seraphina!" Ronan Yates shouted, grabbing his coat and rushing downstairs.
The man sitting on the sofa was still holding up that glass of red wine.
When the sound of the bottle hitting the head quieted the room, he finally moved, tapping rhythmically on the wineglass with his fingers.
The glass then fell to the ground, splashing red alcohol like blood.
The next second, this man got up and walked towards the dance floor.
...
Young Master Finn, looking at the blood on his hand, felt like there was a gash on his head, and the blood was flowing continuously.
"Who the hell are you? How dare you hit me!" he shouted, voice trembling.
Seraphina smirked mockingly, her eyes remaining clear yet filled with murderous intent.
"I’m here to take your life."
With that, she kicked Young Master Finn in the knee, causing him to scream and fall to the ground kneeling.
Still holding the remaining half of the bottle, Seraphina pointed the sharp edge directly at Young Master Finn’s neck, twisting his head forcefully towards the execution direction with her other hand.
Only now did Young Master Finn realize what was happening, screaming hoarsely, "Damn it! What are you standing there for? Get her! Kill that bitch!"
There was no shortage of people eager to curry favor with him.
No sooner had he spoken than his so-called brothers rushed towards Seraphina, trying to subdue this woman.
They were already in the center, so with people coming from all directions, there was no escape.
But Seraphina didn’t plan to escape.
Controlling Young Master Finn with her hand, Seraphina kicked the nearest man.
Sending him staggering, falling crookedly.
The man couldn’t stop himself from falling backward, blocking the others behind him.
Seeing this chaotic scene, someone followed her example, grabbing a bottle to sneak up on him.
Seraphina sensed the danger behind her, almost as if eyes were on her back, skilfully dodged it.
Before the person could retract his hand, a well-defined large hand intercepted the man, snatching the bottle away and driving an elbow into his face, instantly causing a nosebleed and blacking out his vision as he fell.
Seeing the familiar figure of the man in front of her, Seraphina was startled and surprised, "Why are you here?"
Ethan Sterling.
Shouldn’t he be at the Sterling Group?
Ethan had taken off his earlier suit, revealing a sleek black silk shirt underneath as he expertly rotated his wrist, coolly saying, "Here to keep an eye on you, or else all these days of service would be in vain."
Zachary Zane was dead; she would definitely seek revenge.
"I can handle this myself."
Seraphina understood that Ethan had come to assist.
A mere Young Master Finn wasn’t worth fearing.
"If you’ve forgotten you have a man, I don’t mind going back and letting you write my name a thousand times as punishment."
With a displeased expression, Ethan knocked down another man trying to charge in as he spoke.
"..."
In this situation, Seraphina also kicked a man, dislocating his jaw.
Ethan’s bodyguards rushed in, intending to clear out the surrounding crowd, but a new wave of men and women joined.
"Who the hell do you pieces of trash think you are? How dare you bully my boss on my turf!"
Recognizing the voice, Seraphina turned her head, seeing Ronan Yates leading Rory and others with iron rods, already charging into the crowd.
Even Beatrice Fawcett, a girl, was slapping others around.
The bar’s flashy lights continued to flash around, now making the dance floor extremely lively.
Many who were arrogant just moments ago now lay on the ground groaning in pain.
The sharp scream of the women was particularly piercing.
Seraphina only glanced, without any intention of stopping them, dragging Young Master Finn by the collar as she walked out of the dance floor.
Just moments ago, Melody Lockwood, nestled in Young Master Finn’s arms, now wanted to flee in fear.
Seraphina didn’t give her the chance, her voice like a knife, "Freeze."
"No, please, I..."
Terrified, Melody Lockwood trembled uncontrollably, retreating step by step.
Seeing her still moving, Seraphina impatiently raised the sharp bottle in her hand, stained with blood, eerie and terrifying.
Melody didn’t dare move, feeling like this woman crawled out of Hell.
About fifteen minutes later, the bar was forcibly cleared, leaving only Ethan Sterling and Seraphina Redgrave with their people.
The bar was a complete mess, tables and chairs scattered all over, with undried blood stains on the ground.
A man and woman knelt before a sofa, facing west.
As time passed, Young Master Finn’s initial fear turned into terror, these people in front of him like King Yama.
Ronan Yates and others stood behind the sofa, coldly watching the two kneeling people.
Some tall and strong bodyguards surrounded them from behind, leaving no room for escape.
On the sofa sat a man wearing a black shirt, the light shining on his clothes as if they emitted a faint glow.
