Chapter 634 - 633: Meeting the Parents Officially

"Mom!"

June Kane softened her voice and said, "I’ll head back first to take Felicity to the Sterling family’s dinner."

"Alright!"

The Dowager Kane nodded, "Go ahead."

She raised her head and watched June Kane unsteadily walk out of the garden, leaving the Ford Family, a more pronounced smile appeared on her lips.

June Kane was her biological daughter, and she used to spoil her. When those things happened back then, bringing disgrace to the entire Ford Family, if it weren’t for the Old Master Kane’s protection and the need to force Simon Sterling to compromise, she couldn’t be bothered. Now, she dislikes June Kane and her daughter more and more.

The Old Master Sterling hosting a dinner was a big event for Ethan Grant, as it was a formal meeting with the Sterling Family.

Early in the morning, he took Serena Sullivan to the mall to help him choose clothes.

Serena had a good eye; everything she chose he liked, even if it was colorful or in reds and blues, he’d wear them without hesitation.

Ethan Grant also prepared a gift for the Sterling family.

In the evening, James Sterling and his wife went first, followed by Ethan and Serena bringing a whole car full of gifts.

This gathering was a family dinner, and except for Mindy Sterling who couldn’t make it, everyone who should be there, and shouldn’t be there, was present.

Ethan Grant pushed Serena inside with a smile, ignoring the less than happy faces of the Sterling Family, politely greeting each one. Just as he sat down, the door opened again, and they thought Mr. Sterling and Wyatt were arriving.

A face with a charming smile and an appearance of dignity entered everyone’s view, their expressions more dispassionate, and First Mrs. Sterling didn’t hide the indifference in her eyes.

Ethan Grant talked with Serena as if he didn’t see the person who entered.

The woman at the door, June Kane, seemed to have amnesia, forgetting about Serena’s arranged marriage to Wayne Jennings, and also Wayne driving to intentionally hit Serena.

"Dad!"

The Old Master Kane shot her a cold glance without speaking, and even the usually amiable Old Lady Sterling with her didn’t respond.

June Kane still smiled, while Felicity Sterling looked uncomfortable from the side.
