Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Chapter 606 - 605: What Right Do You Have to Interfere?

Chapter 606 - 605: What Right Do You Have to Interfere?

When it comes to love, only the person involved knows if it’s warm or cold; outsiders can only offer reminders and advice, but shouldn’t interfere too much.

"But what!"

Serena Sullivan interrupted, "And who gave you the right?"

"Based on the fact that you contributed a sperm?"

Serena’s tone turned sharp. To anyone she didn’t like, she’d usually greet them with a smile. Even when she first returned to Solaria and ran into Claire Sullivan, she replied with a smile.

Unlike her attitude toward Mr. Sterling, where every sentence was barbed, her eyes extremely cold.

"Mr. Sterling, if you really didn’t want me as your daughter back then, you shouldn’t have let her get pregnant!"

When Serena said this, her eyes reddened. She turned back, gazing at the box door.

Ethan Grant picked up on her off-kilter emotions. As she turned, he followed and now gently placed his hand on Serena’s shoulder.

"She said when she was six months pregnant with me, you didn’t want her anymore. You drove her to the brink of jumping into the lake."

"Simon Sterling, where do you get the right to meddle in my affairs now!"

The more Serena spoke, the colder she felt inside.

No wonder Claire Sullivan was blinded by Joel Quinn’s hypocrisy after they got together.

When someone’s deeply hurt, they easily fall for the kindness given by another.

And her face resembles that of Simon Sterling, this heartless man.

How could Claire Sullivan not hate it!

Hearing this, Wyatt Sterling was stunned, incredulously looking at Mr. Sterling.

Claire Sullivan was six months pregnant when Mr. Sterling didn’t want her anymore!

Thinking of the months between Felicity Sterling and Serena Sullivan, could it be that when Claire was three months pregnant, Mr. Sterling turned to June Kane, then turned around and abandoned Claire to marry June.

This...

Wyatt couldn’t believe his revered father was so ruthless! Such a scoundrel!

"And also..."

Serena’s eyes brimmed with tears, swiftly falling, "What did I do wrong, that makes you wish I wasn’t alive in this world!"

On the island, without his accomplice, how did that person get in? Why did they say at the end that Mr. Sterling ordered the hit!

When he brought her to the island, was it really to save her! Or find a reason to kill her!

"Serena!"

Ethan gently patted Serena’s shoulder. Seeing her in so much pain made his heart ache.

"Let me have a word with Mr. Sterling!"

He bent down, speaking softly to Serena.

Serena didn’t reply, she pressed the button on her wheelchair and wheeled out the room.

Wyatt quickly went to assist Serena.

Watching Wyatt chase after Serena, Ethan closed the box door. He returned to his seat, not immediately saying what he wanted but first filling the glasses for himself and Mr. Sterling.

With the glasses full, Ethan raised his glass toward Mr. Sterling.

"Mr. Sterling, I toast to you!"

Mr. Sterling glanced down at the red wine on the table, slowly raising his glass for a sip.

"I love Serena."

Ethan sat down, saying with a smile.

After speaking, he turned to look at Mr. Sterling beside him, emphasizing, "I really love Serena."

"The first time I saw her, my heart raced, my mind was foggy, and I had only one thought, she’s my wife!"

"I pursued her with all my might."

"Serena is hard to win over!"

"I’m not sure how, but I managed to win her over. After that, I doubled my efforts to treat her well, not letting anyone bully her."

Recalling the past, Ethan’s smile grew wider.

"Perhaps I loved her too much and couldn’t bear her not loving me back."
