Chapter 1123 - 1119: Felix Shaw’s Spring (2000+)

On the way back, Felix Shaw had one hand on the steering wheel and the other casually tapped it once, followed by a sigh."What’s wrong?" Mia Foster turned her head and asked, puzzled. Felix glanced over, played with the corner of his mouth, and said, "Nothing."

Meeting Mia’s questioning gaze, he grasped her hand, brought it to his lips, kissed it, and said with a relaxed smile looking ahead, "I’m just happy for myself. I didn’t expect, at the age of thirty, to have a younger brother or sister. It seems really lucky thinking about it."

Watching Felix’s profile, Mia pressed her lips together without saying anything. Her hand was still tightly held by Felix, resting between the two of them, the warmth from his palm silently permeating into her bloodstream.

She turned back to look ahead, her diffused eyes somewhat dazed. In fact, she understood his thoughts—his mother, at such an advanced age, was pregnant, yet they...

When they got back to the apartment, Felix took off his coat and hung it on the rack before walking straight to the dining area. Mia went to the bedroom to get a set of pajamas and, as she passed through the living room to the bathroom, Felix had already brought over a bottle of red wine.

"I’ll go shower first," Mia said, and Felix responded with a hum, sitting on the sofa focused on opening the wine.

Late autumn, soon to be winter, the indoor air conditioning was set to high, Felix loosened a few buttons on his shirt collar, revealing most of his strong chest. Part of the shirt was pulled out from the belt, some tucked in, a bit disheveled yet also relaxed, holding the wine glass, lounging openly on the sofa. Gazing at the crystal chandelier above, it’s unclear what he was thinking.

When Mia came out of the bathroom, she saw him like this.

Casually closing the bathroom door, "Felix, aren’t you taking a shower?"

"Oh, in a bit," Felix sat up, looked at Mia, and smiled faintly, a somewhat forced smile on his lips, "You go to sleep first,"

Mia nodded nonchalantly, glanced at the coffee table with the bottle of wine that was nearly half drunk, then walked past him towards the bedroom.

Felix’s gaze followed Mia’s back until the bedroom door closed, after which he sighs heavily again, retracting his gaze, downed the wine in the glass in one gulp, and then grabbed the wine bottle and glass, heading to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, Felix lay in the bathtub, placing the wine bottle and glass on the tub’s edge, arms resting on the tub, holding the glass of wine in one hand, emotions in his peach blossom eyes looking in a certain direction were somewhat sorrowful.

Silently sighed, then took a sip of wine, placing it back on the tub’s edge and once again staring blankly ahead.

When Felix returned to the bedroom, it was already an hour later, and there was only a little wine left in the bottle. Stumbling steps walked to the bed, grabbing the thin quilt with his large hand, fell to the bed with a thud before pulling it open.

Mia always sleeps lightly, a sudden jolt in her dream had her eyes snap open. In the darkness, there was a moment of daze before reaching out to turn on the bedside lamp.

"Honey... did I wake you..." Felix chuckled, under a soft, yellow glow, his handsome face flushed with red, and the smile showed a touch of silliness.

Mia closed her eyes, rubbed her brows, then turned off the bedside lamp after Felix lay down.

Behind her, Felix snuggled close. Just out of the bathroom, the drunken man was only wrapped in a towel. His naked chest pressed against Mia’s back, the warmth from his body transferring through the silk fabric.

"Honey, you smell so good..." In the darkness, Felix buried his handsome face in Mia’s nape and sniffed, the large hand around her waist gently rubbed her abdomen back and forth.

Seeing Mia not resisting, he started to push his luck; his warm lips and tongue gently kissed her nape, and his big hand slid up from her abdomen...

Felix’s handsome face buried again in Mia’s nape; in the darkness, Mia opened her eyes, hands at her ears tightening involuntarily.

She knew Felix drank quite a bit; the rich aroma of red wine wafted through her ears straight to her nostrils.

In the quilt, his large hand caressed between the two places, a cherished tender feeling, with a sigh, the heat sprayed on her nape trembled, "Mia... how long will it take you to forgive me..."

"I know I shouldn’t be greedy... but... I’m a man... will desire the woman I like... Mia... honey..."

Felix’s voice intermittently sounded in her nape, accompanied by sighs, wanted badly but dared not proceed, his large hand just rubbed her abdomen.

Mia didn’t stop Felix’s minor actions nor did she respond, still and biting her lower lip, her fingers grasped her soft pillow, her heart conflicted.

She knew the news of his mother’s pregnancy had provoked him.

"Mia, I want a kiss," in the darkness, Felix’s voice rang again, before Mia could agree, a barrage of kisses spread on her nape, each sweep was full of pleasing skills, also cautious, afraid of rejection.

Mia closed her eyes; she always felt something for Felix, but she couldn’t bring herself to cross that barrier in her heart...

"Honey, don’t you want it," the indistinct voice sounded again, like a murmur, his big hand moved to her leg side, squeezing without daring to get closer, "If you want, I can help you in another way."

Kisses lingered at Mia’s ear, accompanied by a low magnetic voice sliding into her eardrum, "My lips are clean... I didn’t kiss her that time..."

"Felix Shaw! Can’t you have some self-respect!" Mia threw off the covers and bolted up, the sudden shout and action startled Felix, propping his body to look at her, peach blossom eyes filled with bloodshot, whether from emotion or too much alcohol, "Mia... I was just..." wanted to please you with a few more words before Mia pounced over.

Pinning Felix to the bed, not giving him a chance to react, climbing on top of him and kissing down.

Biting his lips with her teeth, not gentle at all, when he actively extended his tongue, it was also bitten hard, though it hurt, Felix’s heart was happy, because she finally didn’t despise him anymore.

"Felix Shaw, if you dare betray me again, I’ll kill you!" In the darkness, Mia threatened through gritted teeth.

After a muffled groan, Felix promised, "Honey, I belong only to you..."

Though it’s nearly winter, Felix has ushered in his spring. His wife no longer despises him as filthy, and he can blissfully live on.
