Chapter 264: Wanting to Hack into the Nuclear Weapons Operating System
Chapter 264: Wanting to Hack into the Nuclear Weapons Operating System
The huge screen mounted on the wall in the Dragon Master’s location also went dark.
However, no blood-red skull appeared. Instead, an old woman materialized on the screen, jumping and singing, "This is so wild! I feel like I’m on top of the world, I feel like I’ve reached my peak, what a rush..."
The Dragon Master was utterly baffled.
"Long Jiu, what stunt are you pulling?" he demanded, assuming the image on the screen was being broadcast from Shen Songshan’s end.
BOOM!
The screen exploded.
The Dragon Master was left speechless.
Meanwhile, after rebooting his computer multiple times, Shen Songshan finally got it working again. He hurriedly tried to access the surveillance feed but found that his computer could no longer connect to the laboratory’s cameras. The continuously saved surveillance footage, along with all his other data, had vanished.
Shen Songshan was speechless.
What kind of hacker stays up all night just to break into my computer and wipe all my data?
To this moment, Shen Songshan still hadn’t realized his computer had been deliberately targeted by a hacker.

"Shen Qilin, you can’t keep me here," Ming Yue said angrily. "If we keep fighting, even more of your men will die."
Shen Qilin knew exactly what she meant. He had been fighting her for over an hour and simply couldn’t gain the upper hand. Meanwhile, she had already killed more than a hundred of his men during their battle. Of the nearly two hundred Martial Artists he had brought, fewer than a hundred now remained.
"So many of my men have died. If I let you go now, wouldn’t their deaths have been in vain? Today, I will grind you down to nothing, even if it’s the last thing I do."
Shen Qilin was well aware that his own strength was slightly greater than Ming Yue’s. As long as it was a battle of attrition, she would be the one to die in the end.
"Not good! Someone has broken into the laboratory!" a cry for help echoed from the office building.
Shen Qilin’s expression changed drastically at the sound. He abandoned his entanglement with Ming Yue and dashed into the building.
Seeing her chance, Ming Yue viciously cut down a dozen more men before snatching up the bodies of two War Gods and fleeing.
The several dozen surviving Martial Artists loyal to the Shen Family did not give chase, rushing into the office building as well.
A moment later, Ye Xiu emerged, carrying a sword in his right hand and an infant in his left. He led about thirty barely clothed people out of the office building. Several others in the group were also carrying infants.
It was Ye Xiu who had shouted for help earlier. Luring Shen Qilin and his men away was the only way he could ensure these ordinary people escaped safely.
Not long after they fled the Hongtai Nonwoven Fabric Factory, a dozen cars sped toward them.
"Quick, get in!" Ye Xiu urged.
The scantily clad people scrambled into the vehicles.
Ye Xiu told one of the drivers, "Notify Qing Luan. Find out who these people are and get them home."
"Yes, sir!" The driver nodded respectfully, then led the convoy straight toward the nearest Patrol Bureau Office.
Just then, Ye Xiu’s phone rang. It was a call from You Ming.
"Young Master, I’ve completed the task you assigned."
Ye Xiu’s eyes lit up. "Tell me."
"The money from the Tiansha Association and the Rongfu Consortium is being funneled into one of Shen Songshan’s overseas companies. I suspect he plans to use it for money laundering. Furthermore, he had a video call with the Dragon Master. I successfully hacked their computers, pinpointed their locations, and stole all their data. I’ve already sent everything to your email."
Ye Xiu laughed. "You Ming, you’ve done well."
He put his phone away and, instead of heading back immediately, took a leisurely stroll down the street.
He was waiting for a message.
「Twenty minutes later.」
Ye Xiu received a location from Mo Luo.

Mingzhu Community, Building 5, Unit 2, Room 305.
This was Ming Yue’s home on Qingfeng Road.
Inside the living room, Ming Yue sat cross-legged on the floor. In front of her lay the two corpses of the War Gods. She was absorbing the Martial Prowess from their bodies. The night’s battle had left her severely depleted, and she was in urgent need of replenishment.
Absorbing Martial Prowess from the dead was a slow process. It took a full half hour before she finally finished.
It’s time to find Shen Monong.
Ming Yue remembered telling Shen Monong to gather all the illegitimate members of the Shen Family. She planned to kill them all to help Shen Monong rise to power.
She changed her clothes and began to drag the two corpses toward the door. But when she opened it, she nearly jumped out of her skin.
"Ming Yue, long time no see," Ye Xiu said coldly.
"Ye... Ye, Ye, Ye... Ye Xiu! H-h-how... how did you find me?" Ming Yue stumbled backward in panic, her legs shaking uncontrollably from sheer terror.
"Was it that hard to find you?" Ye Xiu walked in expressionlessly and closed the door behind him. "You’re the one who murdered my mother and my grandparents. Unless you manage to escape Earth itself, I can hunt you down no matter which dark corner of the world you hide in."
As he spoke, he walked to the living room with his sword in hand and sat down.
Seeing the Dragon Sparrow Sword in Ye Xiu’s hand, Ming Yue exclaimed in shock, "You... you were that taxi driver?"
"That’s right," Ye Xiu nodded, gesturing to the spot beside him. "Come and sit. It must be tiring to talk while standing."
Ming Yue didn’t dare move. She was scared to death.
"I told you to come and sit. Didn’t you hear me?" Ye Xiu’s voice was frigid.
"I’m not tired!" Ming Yue managed to say.
"Then kneel," Ye Xiu commanded sharply.
Ming Yue’s legs trembled, and she almost collapsed to her knees. Taking a deep breath, she mustered her courage. "Ye Xiu, don’t you yell at me! I’m telling you, the me of today is not afraid of you."
"Then why are you shaking?" Ye Xiu asked.
"I..." Ming Yue was at a loss for words. Gritting her teeth, she threw caution to the wind. "Ye Xiu, you probably don’t know, but I’m a Martial Artist now, too! For me, killing a War God is as easy as crushing an ant. You’re a War God, which means I can kill you."
"Is that so?" A cold smile touched Ye Xiu’s lips as a terrifying pressure suddenly erupted from him, crashing down on Ming Yue like a tsunami.
THUD!
Ming Yue felt as if a mountain had slammed down on her, forcing her to her knees, completely immobilized.
"This..." The sensation horrified her. "This is impossible," she said in disbelief. "How can this be? You’re just a War God, but I now have the power to kill a War God in an instant! Why can you pin me down with your aura alone?"
As she spoke, despair washed over her. It was true. She finally realized that no matter how hard she tried, she would never be a match for Ye Xiu.
"Come over and sit," Ye Xiu said, retracting his oppressive aura. He ignored her question and once again gestured to the spot beside him.
