Once he recovered from the initial shock, Di Mingjue was the first to knit his brows, asking sternly and coldly, "What on earth is going on?"

If it were really Di Mingchen’s child, how would he not bring him home, or let the parents know?

"It’s indeed my child." Di Mingchen laughed, a slight mischief in his smile.

The trio were again struck dumb at the news. At this point, a woman walked over carrying cotton candy, looking young and fragile.

Gu Qibao widened her eyes. Damn, what on earth is this melodramatic scene?

The family’s oldest bachelor is holding a child, and now a woman has turned up!

The woman walked up and affectionately called Di Mingchen, "Brother Chen."

Gu Qibao was so stunned her jaw dropped. Brother Chen!?

What the heck, they were so affectionate!

Seeing the surprised, astonished and puzzled looks on the trio, Di Mingchen maintained his graceful smile and said softly, "You guys carry on. We’ll be leaving."

After saying that, he left with the child. The woman quickly followed him, handing the cotton candy to the little girl, who planted a kiss on the woman’s face.

The woman was so close to Di Mingchen, and then Di Mingchen lifted the little girl high above his head, causing her to giggle uncontrollably.

They totally looked like a harmonious family!

"No way!" said Nangong Ran, eyes wide and yammering excitedly. "The perpetual bachelor actually has a child secretly! Damn, I thought he was an innocent fledgling, but he turns out to be an established, veteran player!"

At Nangong Ran’s description, Gu Qibao was at a loss for words, and couldn’t help but give her a snide glance, "What, you’re getting jealous?"

"Nonsense." Nangong Ran made a silly face, then proudly declared, "I’m not interested in veterans. I prefer innocent men."

Gu Qibao looked at her with disdain, "Of course, given how filthy you are, you’d definitely suit an innocent man. Always taking advantage of him!"

Nangong Ran covered her face, "Can you not be so blunt!"

Ignoring her, Gu Qibao eagerly grabbed Di Mingjue’s hand and asked, "Husband, what do you make of this situation? Is that really Second Brother’s child and lady?"

This was just too goddamn unbelievable!

"I don’t think so." Di Mingjue shook his head to deny it, "If it was true, Second Brother would’ve told mom and dad straight away."

Gu Qibao almost went mad with surprise.

Nangong Ran chipped in from the side, "If they weren’t his woman and child, then why didn’t he explain it? He even said it was his child. Maybe Second Brother fell in love with a woman who already has a kid and didn’t dare to tell Aunt and Uncle."

The three of them fell silent at her words, but Di Mingjue still stuck to his opinion, "Impossible."

Nangong Ran pouted, "Why is it impossible? Haven’t you ever heard, love can work wonders. Second Brother’s broad-minded, one child is no problem. Even if there were two more, he can handle it."

"You seem to know Second Brother quite well, huh, cut it out." Gu Qibao couldn’t help but look down on Nangong Ran. Looking at Di Mingchen’s retreating figure, she added with more seriousness, "I also think it’s impossible.
