Chapter 106: First Ten
With each swing, a wave of black feathers shot out and pierced into the upcoming Terror. They scattered away like ants, avoiding the feathers of death.
A Skinwalker jumped at Zeneros from behind. He saw it through his total vision and elbowed it.
The jaw of the Skinwalker caved into its mouth. The Raven Knight spun back and swung the dark blade at him.
Another Terror pulled that Skinwalker backwards to avoid the strike. The dark blade extended in mid-air and cut both of those monster in two.
"Adrenaline!" More power poured into his blood.
Zeneros turned into a streak of red and bolted straight through the horde of endless Terrors. Their bodies exploded like paintball wherever he went.
A large Terror blocked him. It was a Skinwalker with very thick skin. It held its two durable forearms up with the intention of stopping the Raven Knight.
The knight slammed on it. He grabbed the Terror’s head and dragged in on the ground with him. Then he threw it at the horde of Terrors.
The large eye in the blade pulsed even more. Black energy leaked out of the steel as Zeneros swung it at the Terrors.
A large beam of darkness went over the monsters. It was Negative Energy. Normally Zeneros couldn’t use this. But Iganu was on his side this time.
"Traitor!" A Skinwalker shouted. "You are the First Ten! Why betray us?"
The deep voice within the sword answered, "It is our destiny. It is inevitable."
The Raven Knight grabbed that Skinwalker and decapitated it with Iganu.
Then they arrived. The strongest of the Terrors. The First Ten.
Nizuro. Two-headed Wolf.
Sankaku. Three-horned Bull.
Siraon. Four-winged Eagle.
Godajin. Five-bodied Man.
Rokushi. Six-legged Rat.
Shimenki. Seven-faced Ghoul.
Hachiro. Eight-mouthed Boar.
Kubisa. Nine-tailed Snake.
Jubiri. Ten-eared Bat.
"Iganu. You have finally visited your family." The Two-head Wolf marched toward. Its body was as large as a dinosaur. Its two head operated independently. The ferocious one constantly growling, while the other spoke with the utmost grace.
The Three-horned Bull held a large butcher knife in its hand. It stood straight like a man. It had a man body with the head of a bull. Three horns stood on its forehead. "You haven’t forgotten about me, your dear brother Sankaku, right?"
"Kiek! Kiek! Of course he did. He was enslaved by those Eldritch Knight for so long he must have forgotten us." The Four-winged Eagle dashed around in the sky.
Five man stood in the air. They didn’t fly. They floated. Their palms pressed together in front of their chest. "Stop this madness, Iganu. Your family is more important."
A large rat came out from the ground. It had way too many legs for a rodent. "Chirp! Chirp! Kill Iganu! Kill Iganu!"
"Yeah. Let’s kill him!" A skinny pale man stood on top of all. Its height reached at least a few stories tall. Its face constantly changed between seven different expressions.
"Grargh! Don’t kill him! Eat him while he’s still alive!" A boar, with eight mouths spreading around its head, said.
"Yeah! Let’s do that! I will catch him!" A long snake with nine tails circled around Zeneros.
A bat landed heavily on the ground. It had five ears on each side. "Come back to us, Iganu. Come back and you shall be forgiven. Only the human needed to die."
The Raven Knight released the broadsword. The sword floated gently in the air. Its one single eye looked at each of its previous family member.
"You are weaklings." Iganu said. "Lingering onto the inevitable. We aren’t family. We are just figment of imagination. Zeneros will give me what you can never give me."
"And what is that?" The Ten-eared Bat said.
"Total Destruction!"
The broadsword flew back to Carter and he caught it. The thick red aura blasted from within him.
"Kill it!" The Four-winged Eagle shouted.
The Raven Knight disappeared, leaving only a faint red streak behind him. He shot straight up from the ground toward the Four-winged Eagle.
"Stop him! He’s coming for Siraon!" The Ten-eared Bat shouted.
Siraon was the quickest among them and the only one that could even try to match the Raven Knight’s speed. If he was destroyed, the Terrors would have no chance.
The Nine-tailed Snake directed all of its tails toward the Raven Knight. Its tails released a green toxin that killed even the air it touched.
The Raven Knight was unfazed. He went through the toxic cloud.
"That thing is immune to poison!" Kubisa shouted.
The Five-bodied Man appeared in front of Zeneros. All of them pointed their hands at Zeneros.
"Repent!" Five gold beams shot toward the dark knight.
He struck at one of the beam, deflecting it, and rode on one of the beam forward. The other three missed him by a few millimeter.
"Why won’t you die!" The Godajin in the middle opened its white shirt, showing countless faces within it.
The faces of the Priests that had betrayed humanity. Their ends were not peaceful.
The faces screamed, releasing shock waves toward the Raven Knight.
Zeneros was still unfazed. He appeared on the right side of the Five Men and dashed straight through them to the left, splitting them all in halves.
"He... He is immune to mental attack..." Godajin said.
The Raven Knight slashed at its head. Black feathers shot out and exploded the remaining heads.
Siraon flapped its wings, pushing the Raven Knight away. It tried to save Godajin but it was already too late.
"You monster!" Siraon roared.
The Raven Knight’s head snapped toward Siraon. It caused the eagle to tremble in fear.
"You idiot! It wants to kill you first!"
Jubiri clasped its hand together. A sound barrier appeared around the Four-winged Eagle that stopped the Raven Knight from approaching it. It couldn’t stop him completely but it bought enough time for Siraon to fly away.
The Seven-Faced Ghoul grabbed the Three-horned Bull and threw it at the Raven Knight. "Come down here!"
The Bull shot straight through the air. Its tongue was on the side like a dog. Its hand swung the Butcher Knife over.
Zeneros spun in the air and got out of the way of the Bull.
The Two-headed Wolf howled. Its body turned red as it shot toward the sky.
"Where are you going to run now?!"
