As he spoke while out of breath, Reks and several other students came from behind him carrying something.
They quickly started setting it up on the floor.
"I heard that in Shiao Yi’s world, they launch something called fireworks during celebrations, you see. Ever since then, I kept thinking, ’Can’t we make something like that here?’ So I researched it a lot."
Wait, fireworks? He should not know anything about gunpowder.
"We never got the explosive material from you and you told us again and again not to research it. But we have magic here. Magical cannons were created from that research in the first place."
