Impossible to Resist: Mr. CEO Falling In Love

Chapter 130: Not Tonight

Chapter 130: Not Tonight

The partition separated the interior of the car into two spaces.

The car moved unimpeded along the tree-lined road, heading towards Su Lingzhi’s apartment.

It was just a ten-minute drive. In those ten minutes, Fu Yinli was already impatient, eager to absorb her scent, feel her breath and warmth.

The sound of fabric rubbing and subtle water noises resonated in the back compartment.

Su Lingzhi clutched his shirt, restraining herself from making any noise, but the man did not follow her wishes, holding her lips and indulging in biting.

The familiar woody aroma, mixed with tobacco, lingered in the air. She hardly dared to feel it, knowing there was a driver sitting in front of them.

The intimacy lasted until the car stopped in front of the apartment.

Fu Yinli left her lips, gently wiping away the moisture on her lips with his thumb, "Will you dare to forget me next time?"

The heat in the air painted her face with a crimson blush, and her clear eyes seemed to be veiled in mist, making one want to wrap her into their body uncontrollably.

Su Lingzhi whispered, "That’s too much."

Fu Yinli slightly lifted the corner of his lips, savoring the taste as he kissed the corner of her lips, and gently asked, "Hungry?"

Su Lingzhi avoided his gaze, straightened her clothes, and got out of the car without a word, covering her blushing face, breathing in the fresh air.

Fu Yinli took out a gift box and followed her out, holding her hand as they went upstairs.

Once back in their own space, Fu Yinli blocked her lips again, kissing increasingly fervent and scorching, like a beast long unfed, savoring her softness.

He held her by the waist and carried her to the sofa.

Sitting down, something poked her leg, making her squirm.

Next, Fu Yinli took out the item, a box of condoms.

Su Lingzhi’s expression paused.

He was undeniably passionate and open about sex, never hesitant, even after brief separations, to indulge the body’s longing for her.

However, in the next moment, he produced a blue velvet gift box from somewhere and handed it to her.

Su Lingzhi asked curiously, "What is this?"

"Open it and see if you like it."

In front of him, Su Lingzhi opened it, revealing a sparkling, translucent heart-shaped pink diamond necklace.

A vividly colored natural diamond, gleaming richly even when cast in shadow.

She met his gaze and teased, "Why do you like pink so much? Your taste is too consistent."

"It seems you don’t like it," Fu Yinli said, about to take it back.

Su Lingzhi dodged with the gift box, "Who said I don’t like it."

Saying this, she picked up the necklace and smiled at him, "Help me put it on."

Fu Yinli moved the loose curls off her shoulder and held the necklace by its ends, "Come a little closer."

Su Lingzhi tilted her neck forward, as the coolness pressed against her skin, a slight tingle made her instinctively shrink back.

Once the necklace was on, she straightened up, the heart-shaped pendant resting on her collarbone, enhancing her lively charm.

Su Lingzhi raised her eyes to him, her pupils reflecting his enigmatic face, "Does it look good?"

Fu Yinli gazed at her appreciatively, his voice unusually gentle, "It looks beautiful."

Su Lingzhi kissed him on the side of his face, "Thank you, Lili."

With that, she moved off his lap.

But Fu Yinli pulled her back, the reaction between his legs causing her heart to skip a beat, tingles running up her body.

She met his fervent gaze, flustered, "Not today, I’ve got my period."

"..." Fu Yinli’s expression froze. He was at a loss.

Completely at a loss with her.

Still, he didn’t let go, his eyes deep as he looked at her, "You stirred the fire; shouldn’t you put it out personally?"

"I didn’t do anything," Su Lingzhi said innocently.

She indeed did nothing; he was the one leading the charge, igniting the fire in her.

"Troublemaker," Fu Yinli said helplessly, not forcing her, letting her sit beside him as he went alone to the bathroom.

The room fell into a quiet emptiness.

Su Lingzhi sat on the sofa for a while, then stood up, walking towards the bathroom.

The solution to his needs left the door slightly ajar.

The man unbuttoned his shirt, revealing a strong, muscular build. Before taking any action, he heard footsteps at the doorway.

The door opened, and they stared at each other from a distance.

Fu Yinli froze for a moment, then asked in a low voice, "What are you doing in here?"

"Afraid you’d suffer."

...

However, after dinner, Fu Yinli took a call and rushed out.

He hadn’t returned by the next day.

She never inquired about his work, nor did she feel the need to, even if he faced difficulties, she couldn’t be of much help.

In the evening, Su Lingzhi was invited out by Secretary Yao to a street stall.

She thought it would just be Secretary Yao, but Assistant Shen was there too.

"Lingzhi."

"President Su."

They both called out to her in unison.

Su Lingzhi looked at Assistant Shen helplessly, "Calling me ’President Su’ is so old-fashioned, isn’t Lingzhi a much nicer name? It makes me seem old when I’m still so youthful and lively."

Secretary Yao couldn’t help but laugh, "That’s just how she is, sometimes a bit stubborn."

"Outside work, just call me Lingzhi, we’re work partners, no ranks between us."

"Alright, Ling...zhi." Though it sounded a bit awkward, it was at least corrected.

After ordering, and chatting for a bit, Secretary Yao’s gaze lingered on the sparkling pink diamond on her collarbone, deep in thought.

"Yesterday after work, I saw you with a man below our company building; is that your boyfriend?"

Su Lingzhi was taken aback for a moment, surprised to be seen; she didn’t hide it, just nodded.

"Who is he, and how did you two meet?"

"We met abroad."

"Judging by his demeanor, he doesn’t seem ordinary. Is he treating you well? How far have you two gotten?"

Seeing her curiosity, Su Lingzhi responded without hiding, "We’re still in the honeymoon phase."

Saying this, Su Lingzhi shifted the conversation back to her, "Our Secretary Yao must have someone special too, right?"

Secretary Yao’s eyes suddenly widened, surprised as she looked at her, "How did you know?"

"I guessed." Su Lingzhi poured her a cup of tea, jokingly, "Why such a big reaction, are you planning to keep him as a secret?"

"My boyfriend is just an ordinary person; there’s nothing to hide."

Secretary Yao quickly realized the change in topic.

She took a sip of tea, composed herself, and began, "Speaking of these circles, a while back I heard some gossip about the Beijing Circle."

Assistant Shen instantly became interested, "What gossip?"
