Chapter 29: Quiet Flex
Chapter 29: Quiet Flex
"Huh?"
Alan let out a confused exclamation after reading Quash’s stats. Elina’s eyes were wide like a ball. Unable to belive her eyes.
Alan leaned closer to the status window to see if he was hallucinating or not. He looked up to Quash who was looking at him with a displeased expression. But Alan didn’t care. He was looking at Quash like he was looking at a criminal.
"Hello? This is the result of your calisthenics? All Physical Stats at Class limits? And what is wrong with your Abstract Stats? Are you someone who remembers their past life or something?"
"Yeah."
At Alan’s sarcastic remark, Quash said plainly. Alan scoffed and pointed at his Intelligence stats.
"What. Is. This!? How is that possible!? Is this why you didn’t show your Abstract Stats before!? And how did you even get a Resistance Stats!? But before that! What is this title!? Aura Refiner!? Is that why you have pure Aura!? And what even is Purified Body!?"
"..."
Quash stayed silent at the borage of questions. He has no idea himself for the most part other than his intelligence Stats.
But even for that, he had no definitive answer other than the fact that he has embarrassed by his pitiful 11 in Intelligence. While both of them had extremely high.
How would he explain that he remembered his past life and his brain literally evolved?
He doesn’t need to. Both Alan and Elina seemed to be thinking he was aided by his grandparents wealth. So he decided to leave it at that.
"Welp. I’m just better so stop wining. Let’s go. But I can certainly tell you how I achieved all Class Limit in Physical Stats."
Quash closed his status window and started walking towards the living quaters of the ship. Both Alan and Elina looked at each before sighing. It was frustrating to them but there was nothing they could do.
The world was unfair to begin with. They didn’t want something they had no control over ruin their friendship.
So they followed Quash.
Time passed, and it was about the time ship launched. Everyone was on board. The captain has warned everyone to stay away from the deck because they will he passing through a cloud of Lightning Rain.
Quash wanted to jump in joy when he heard that. He went to the captain to be allowed on the deck. He stated his reason and also asked if they could go slowly through that cloud.
"You think we will stop just because you want to? Who will take responsibility if we are late?"
"Don’t give me that. I know the journey takes 5 days. The two days are fir opportunities like this."
With that, the captain agreed reluctantly. He was trying to intimidate this kid a bit because he seemed like he had too big if a spine. If not careful, it might snap. So he wanted to give him a taste of reality but it seems it wasn’t necessary because the kid had both logic and brawn to bak it up.
And after that, Quash went back to his quater and continued to preach to Alan and Elina. He told them the same things he had told the gym bros. Hearing the whole story of the park, Alan was filled with regret. He almost cried in regret but Quash and Elina somehow managed to calm him down.
But he still liked very down that he missed such a training environment. It was his dream to train with others and share the joy and discovery with others. But he had missed such an opportunity because he never thought of it like that.
But Quash’s new way of circulation gave him something to focus on and forget about the heart churning pain.
Both Alan and Elina were astonished by Quash’s way of thinking but it only worked for Knights. Because they circulate through a physical medium, they can go as fast as they want.
But mages are different. They circulate through the Meridians of the whole body. It is delicate and extremely fragile. But Quash’s idea still saved time and effort for Elina.
She could circulate double the time with the same effort.
Nonetheless, after he was done, Quash kicked them both out and told them to practice. He had also told them his theories on how he got Resistance Stats and if they wanted to try it. But they refused for some reason. They looked at him weirdly. Like he was crazy.
He didn’t understand why they were acting like hat because Lightning Rain wasn’t that dangerous. If anything, it is the best material for developing Lightning Resistance Stats. And he believed anyone can do that with enough time.
But since they didn’t want the good pie, he will take it all to himself. He needed to raise his Resistance Stats and Pite Aura capacity anyway. He may even gain Lightning Stats if things went the way he thinks. Since his Aura Refiner title will refine the Lightning to its prestigious form, and his Purified Body will expell any Impurity, so everything just works fine.
Quash was laying on his bed inside one of the rooms. It was big and luxurious with many furnitures and room space.
The wall on the window side was transparent. From outside, it looked like normal shop wall, but from inside, everything was visible.
Quash was thinking about how he got his Purified Body. That thing may not be Overpowered on its own, but with Aura Refiner, the whole game changes. It may not have much use now. But later in his life when he starts taking potions, elixirs and external items with impurities, his body will automatically refine it to its purest form and expell the impurities.
Quash could only think that some hidden conditions were meet that made him the third person to achieve Purified Body.
If it was Mythical Grade, then accusation will surely have extreme difficulty.
Like, one needs to go through full Impurity Expulsion under Lighting Charged Condition or something similar. Maybe to add to that difficulty, the Impurity Expulsion needs ti be the person’s first time and they need to be young?
He didn’t know. But what he did know was that the ship was taking off.
