I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game

Chapter 90: Used his Mana?

Chapter 90: Used his Mana?

A bead of sweat appeared on his temple; he was too indulged in the act that he forgot to wipe it off.

He kept channeling his mana because he knew that if he made even a sliver of a mistake, his master will end up losing his life.

Leon’s face was completely covered in sweat, body was shaking slightly as his eyes remained closed. ’Why nothing’s happening?’

He didn’t gauge enough courage to open his eyes, and his mind remained filled with thoughts.

They both continued it for a while, but later, something strange happened. A mana that was thick enough to make even a tower master gasp started to pop out through Leon’s body.

Darian’s eyes widened in shock, but he didn’t let the feeling of shock take over his mind. His hands remained clinging to Leon’s back, and the mana remained flowing neatly.

But Leon’s mana started to take a strange form, started forging itself into a strange barrier which came between them.

It felt as if the mana was trying to withhold Darian from letting his mana keep channeling inside Leon’s body.

Leon’s eyebrow twitched, lips curled as a thought ringed his mind. ’Huh? Why did Darian stop channeling his mana?’

He opened his eyes, and the scenery which he visualized made him stagger backwards.

’What’s going on?’ He thought.

His eyes moved in each direction, trying their best to look for Darian, but in the end, nothing came into his sight.

’Am I already dead? I can’t feel anything next to me, not even Darian.’

’It feels as if everything except me turned into dust.’

He took a deep breath, hands placed next to his hips as he muttered under his breath. "What the hell’s going on with me today?"

"First, the random surge of dark mana that teleported my consciousness in here, and then everything besides me disappeared?"

He shook his head, crossed his arms next to his chest, and said. "There’s no point in wasting my time while chit-chatting with myself."

"I should find my way outside."

He looked under his feet and noticed that he was floating in the middle of nowhere, and below him was sheer darkness.

His eyes remained focused on the ground for a while, staring without even moving an inch.

But later, he raised both of his hands as he joined them together, and muttered. "Yes, I’m doomed."

He shook his head, raised his hands, and slapped both of his cheeks at the same time as hard as he could.

"Wake up, Leon Wale, you can’t die in your own body." He muttered to himself, voice almost a whisper.

He crossed both of his arms once again and remained standing in one place as he closed his eyes.

’What should I do? I don’t even know where I am at this point.’

Before he could continue thinking more about this, a sound fell inside his ears. It felt ancient, something which had been trapped for ages in a single place.

He opened his eyes right away, and the thing which he saw below him, shook him entirely. He froze in a single place, and it felt as if his soul had left through his body.

Sweat started to appear on his temple, few drops rolled down his cheek as he muttered. "Wh-what the hell is this..."

A huge eye was hovering under him. It was golden inside, and its pupil was pure white. Darkness was coming out from within it, slowly spreading around like it couldn’t stay trapped anymore.

It was so big that the endless dark space looked covered by it. It even had eyelashes, and it kept blinking again and again, slow and constant.

Leon’s mouth opened, and his sweat dropped down his temple continuously. "W-what the hell!?" He said.

An unknown voice lingered inside his mind once again, sounding ancient but deeper now. "It’s not your time to meet me yet, boy."

A sudden surge of shockwaves moved directly towards Leon, as they struck him rashly. He raised both of his arms and took a defensive stance, protecting himself from the shockwaves.

His teeth gritted, eyes forced shut because of the sudden pressure. ’It’s too strong... even stronger than Draviel’s aura.’

’I don’t have any choice but to use my mana in here to protect myself.’

’I don’t know how I will when the mana itself is trying to take control over my body... and I’m not even in my body, this is my consciousness.’

He didn’t have any other choice but to rely on letting his mana make a small barrier, which could protect him. He closed his eyes, tried to concentrate.

’If this is my consciousness, doesn’t it mean that I’ll be able to do anything that I think about?’

A thought regarding his mana popped into his mind, and the next moment, his mana slowly started to appear around his arms.

His eyes opened, and he noticed that the shockwaves were now passing sideways from his arms, which he was using as a shield.

His eyes widened as a confused thought ringed his mind. ’It actually worked?’ His eyes shifted towards the eye once again, trying his best to remain calm.

He looked at the eye for a while, noticing every detail of it. "It... It’s demonic and angelic at the same time."

"I might sound like a fool, but I can’t fathom anything regarding it." He muttered under his breath, almost a whisper.

He took a deep breath, trying to gather the courage to mutter some words to the unknown voice that was troubling him, and finally, his words filled the air. "Who are you, and why did you summon me in here?" He asked, voice remaining firm.

There was no kind of reply for a while; everything felt silent as if nothing existed in there. But then the voice came once again, filling his mind.

"It’s not your time to meet me yet, boy."

Leon’s eyebrow twitched lightly as he thought. ’It’s repeating the same thing that it did before.’
