I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game

Chapter 83: Sia’s New Quest

Chapter 83: Sia’s New Quest

A deep sigh escaped through his mouth as he slowly made his way towards the male dorm room.

He extended his hand, opened the door to the dorms, and made his way inside.

No one was in there, just two beds which were kept facing each other.

A window was at the centre of the wall, and the orange rays of the setting sun were coming inside through it.

He jumped on the bed, lying on it right away as he took the sheets on his body.

’I don’t want to think about anything for now.’

’I’ve spent the last few days working... time to sleep.’

He closed his eyes, rolling on the bed slightly.

It didn’t take him long before he fell asleep.

---

The morning came earlier than he thought. Early rays of the sun were coming inside through the open window.

Some of those rays fell on his face, which made him fall out of his slumber.

His hand raised as he rubbed his eyelids lightly, trying to wake himself up.

The space beside him started to crack, and green mana appeared through those cracks.

And soon after, Sylphaine came out through there.

She hugged Leon and said cheerfully. "Master!! Wake up, it’s already morning!!"

’It’s early in the morning, let me sleep ugh....’

A fake smile crept on his lips, head moved towards her as he said. "Yes... I’m awake, Sylphaine."

"It seems like your mana finally recovered fully, you’re nonchalant as usual." He said, chuckled slightly.

"Yes, Yes." She said, nodding multiple times.

Leon pushed himself back up, patted Sylphaine’s head lightly as he made his way out of the room.

He thought of going for a light walk, but the moment he reached Sia’s room,

A loud screaming voice fell inside his ears.

"I fell short on resources once again!!"

’Looks like she hasn’t completed the research yet.’

A smirk curled up on his lips as a thought appeared in his mind.

’I don’t care, though, I just care about the hidden quest and the delightful rewards.’

He entered inside there, the broad room, but the lighting inside was dim. Multiple shelves were kept in the middle of the room, and instruments for alchemy were kept on them.

In the corner of the room, a table was kept, and on it, multiple mana cores were kept. Light was entering through the windows, which were next to the table’s wall.

Sia was standing next to a shelf, her hands clutched over her hair. "I’ll not be able to complete it again!!" She said, voice loud.

Leon walked into the room, his steps echoed inside the chamber as he steadily made his way towards her.

"Senior Sia." He said.

Sia shot towards him, her eyes widened slightly, and then a smile tugged her lips. "J-Junior Ragnar..." she muttered, cheeks blushing slightly.

A faint smile curled on his lips as he bowed slightly. "Are you still having problems with your research?" He asked.

She gulped, hesitated once before her eyes turned towards the equipment once again. "Uh... well... yes." She said, voice shaky.

"Can I help you in any kind of way?" He asked, looking right into her eyes.

Sia’s gaze rose, looking into Leon’s eyes. "Uh... well, there’s something that you can help me with."

"Can you help me get some ingredients?" She asked.

A thought curled inside his head.

’Wait.. if I remember clearly, then I think she said that she’s making it for us, so that we can form undead a little quicker.’

’And that was because we didn’t have the grimoire, but now we do.’

"Senior, what’ll happen if we had a grimoire? Will it help you complete your research?"

A deep, exhausting sigh left her mouth as she leaned forward and kept her hand on the shelf. "It’ll help? No, it’ll solve the entire problem of our tower."

"The money crisis, reputation, and even the ability to summon undead at a fast pace." She said.

"You’re quite anxious regarding that, Senior." Leon’s voice came.

"How can I not be..." She lowered her head as she thought about the grimoire.

A smirk tugged his lips. The moment he looked at her anxious face, it made it more worthwhile for what he was about to do now.

He lifted his hand and snapped. An eerie mana started to fill the room, and light completely vanished as if it never existed in there.

Sia’s eyes widened, and she staggered back slightly. Her body started to fall on its own; the pressure inside the room wasn’t something that a mage like her could withstand.

"W-What are you doing, Ragnar..." She asked, forcing her voice out.

Leon didn’t say anything, but soon after, the space beside him started to crack open.

Black waves started to erupt through the cracks, making it eerie inside the room. Dark purple waves followed right after, painting the entire room eerie purple.

A grimoire popped out through the cracks, dark waves of mana were erupting through it, chains were wrapped around it, but the grimoire remained open.

Sia’s voice stuck inside her throat, body got completely drenched in sweat as her skin started to turn pale.

Before she could do anything, mana waves pushed her down, and it seemed as if it was trying to make her bow in the presence of the one who owns the grimoire.

She forced her eyes to look up at Leon, and the thing that she noticed made her gaze.

Leon’s demeanour didn’t seem the way it usually is, his expressions were darkened.

She didn’t waste a second before she bowed to him.

He snapped his fingers once again, and the mana that was covering the room disappeared. Dark waves of mana wrapped around the grimoire, engulfing it whole.

Everything returned to normal, and no sign of discomfort was left. But the eerie feeling still lingered over Sia.

"I’m sorry for the sudden reveal." He said.

She didn’t say anything for a while, her eyes were completely dazed.

But then she snapped back into reality and replied. "Y-Yeah.. it’s fine..." The voice was shaky.

"Will this help?" He said.
