Chapter 81: The Finals!!

"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for the finals?!"

"Yeah!!"

"I can’t hear you!! I asked are you ready for the final match?!"

"YEAH!!!"

"So am I!! While I have a lot of things to say, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time any longer!! We finally have a fight between two Emperors!! The Biggest Dark Horse of the tournament, the one who rules our hearts!! Raiden Ashford!!!"

Raiden walked into the tournament amidst the cheers, but his face was completely dark.

He wanted to take revenge for Morgana. He knew it was hypocritical, considering what he did to Jacob. But in his defence, that man tormented him for years, and he was just taking his undue revenge.

Now here he was once again on the stage, taking revenge for someone else.

"And on the other side, we have our very own local Emperor!! The one who is stated to win the championship!! The golden child!! The prince who rules the hearts of all young girls in the capital!! Kael Goldwyn!!!"

Kael walked up the platform from the other side, looking as arrogant as ever.

Raiden focused closely on him and noticed the injuries inflicted by Old Man Sol had been healed completely!

A little serious expression on his face as he noticed it, and can’t help but remember the most absurd ability he had heard about aside from his system.

"Heh, the friend of the loser. You still have time to quit right now. Otherwise, don’t come crying to me later if you lose or suffer any kind of injury." Kael’s mocking voice sounded from the opposite side.

"Who will come crying to whom is still undecided. Let’s see if you have enough powers to back up your words, you bastard." Raiden fired back as he glared at him.

"Are both contestants ready?" The referee asked.

Both nodded.

"Alright, let the match begin!!"

"Rip him apart, Leo!!" Kael commanded as he pointed towards Woolie and Raiden.

"Real man attack head-on!! Show him what it means to be one!!" Raiden fired back without flinching.

"Roarr!!" The three-eyed white lion roared as his body started shining under the golden sunlight, bracing his legs against the ground.

"Woolie!!" Woolie’s eyes lit up with powers as he similarly braced himself, his horns growing out and shining with power. He glared at the big lion who hurt the little sister under his protection and promised to take revenge for her.

"GO!!" Both the Battle Masters roared simultaneously as the Terra Beasts burst into action, clashing with each other in the centre of the stage.

Bang!!

The stage itself cracked from their clash, with cracks forming all over from the epicentre. Both the Terrans were deadlocked in a face-to-face clash, glaring at each other.

Raiden noticed something else. Woolie was being pushed back slowly, losing out in head-to-head competition by a little.

As if by an unseen agreement, both the Terra Beasts backed off simultaneously before clashing again and again in the centre.

Clang!! Clang!! Clang!!

The sound rang out consistently as Woolie’s horns and Leo’s claws clashed with each other, ringing out with a metallic sound, neither giving each other any ground.

"Finish that little shit, Leo!! Use Amber Surge!!"

"Roar!!" Leo grinned savagely as he glared at the little sheep in front of him. The third eye, which was closed throughout the fight until now, burst open in an instant.

It started charging up with power before a thick arm-sized beam fired from it directly at Woolie, who was too close to dodge it head-on.

Bam!!

"Woo!!" A ball of cotton rolled in the distance from Leo, which revealed itself to be Woolie.

"Woo Woo Woolie!!" Little Woolie was angry about this sneak attack! He had automatically used the Wool Guard to protect himself from harm.

Crack -Bang!!

In an instant, Woolie’s body got covered in Thunder without even Raiden telling him, as he rushed straight at Leo faster than the eye could see, hitting him straight in his stomach.

Leo cried out mournfully as he went skidding back towards Kael.

"That little... This is dragging on for too long, Leo!! Let’s finish this!! Take my power!!" Kael shouted in irritation as his body started shining in the sunlight.

"Roar!!" Leo also roared along with him, as a pillar of light burst from his body, rapidly healing the injury that had just been inflicted on him.

"Under my powers, Son of Light, you can’t ever compare to me. Too bad you lost your last chance to give up!! Finish him, Leo!! Lion Fang!!" Kael proclaimed arrogantly as Raiden looked at him with concern.

This was Kael’s power, called Son of Light. It only had a simple and straightforward function. He could use sunlight to heal and empower himself and his Terra Beast. As long as the sun is up, he can’t be defeated by anyone. But Raiden still had full confidence in himself.

"You think you are the only one with a trump card?! Let it loose, Woolie!! Show them your true form!!" Raiden fired back.

"Wool?" Woolie’s eyes lit up in delight. Finally!! He didn’t like how he got pushed back during the fight before. Let that big kitty defeat him now.

"Woolie!!~" After what felt like forever, Woolie changed into his original size as his small and chubby body started growing.

1 Meter. 2 Meter. 3 Meter. 4 Meters. 5 Meters!! 6 Meters!!!

Woolie’s small and cute body grew rapidly under the audience’s eyes and astonishment, growing from a small house pet to a gigantic behemoth.

Strong, taut leg muscles that cracked the ground just by stepping on it, with horns larger than 2 Meters, Woolie properly looked like an Emperor from Hell.

"Woolie!!~!" Bring it on now, little kitty!! See how Emperor Woolie plays with you and takes revenge for his little sister!! Woolie’s eyes lit up with fire as his entire body started shining violet electricity.

A rush of intimidation hit the three-eyed lion, making him step back a bit as he looked at the behemoth of Terran before him. It was even bigger than itself.

"He has just changed sizes!! He is still as weak as before, while we are stronger now!! Don’t be afraid of it!! Go and tear him apart!! Lion Fang!!" Kael’s face had a grin once again as he looked at the sheep. He was confident nothing could beat him and his Terra Beast combined.

"Roar!!!" Leo gained his confidence back as he roared at Woolie, before turning into a flash of light as he travelled at impossible speeds, appearing in front of Woolie directly and opening his jaws to rip out a section of his body.

"Woolie, Headbutt!!" Raiden spoke as soon as he saw that lion disappear, allowing him to react on time for the attack.

"Woolie!~" Woolie roared before pulling his head back and hitting that lion with full downward momentum.

Crack!!

A cracking sound was heard as the three-eyed white lion stumbled back, faltering in his steps.

"Roar~..." It roared pitifully as it felt an almost fatal injury on his head. That one single attack had cracked his head open.

"Impossible!! How can you be so strong?! How?!" Kael muttered in disbelief.

"Nothing is impossible!! Beat that sonofabitch!! Thunder Bolt!!"

"I refuse to believe it!! Leo, use Amber Surge!!"

Crack-Bang!!

Both Terrans fired their attacks directly, colliding with each other in mid-air.

Slowly but surely, Raiden saw that Woolie’s attack was getting pushed back by that light beam.

"Hey Woolie?! Are you going to lose so easily!! We still have to take revenge for Morgana and Cinder!! Think about them!! Win this!!!" Raiden roared.

"Woolie!!" Woolie’s eyes turned determined as he pushed back with all his powers, tilting the balance in his favour as he slowly pushed back the light.

"Leo!! We are the strongest!! We will not lose to these pleb like beings!! Finish this!!!"

"Roar!!" Leo put all he had into the attack, but he realised he wasn’t gaining any ground.

"Woolie!!" You hurt my sister!! You insulted my human!! You hurt someone under Emperor Woolie!! You. Need. To. Pay. For. Your. Sins!!

With a final roar, Woolie poured everything he had into his attack, as his Thunder pushed back the light all the way in an instant, hitting Leo straight on!!

BOOM!!!

A flash of violet thunder erupted from the point, enveloping Leo completely under it.

"Woolie!~" ( •̀ ω •́ )!!

Woolie collapsed to the ground as he closed his eyes in victory. He was basking in the glory.

Raiden similarly relaxed at this. The fight was easier than he thought it would be. The opponent’s claims of being invincible were nothing but hogwash after all.

"No Raiden!! Watch out!!!" An urgent shout rang out in the distance, pulling Raiden back to the present.

His eyes widened in horror at the sight in front of his eyes!!

"Wait, Woolie no, Dodge!!!"

"It’s too late!! Leo, Bite His Head Off!!" Kael’s heavy and sinister voice rang out in the distance.

"Roar!!" A Broken Leo stood in front of Woolie, who had closed his eyes on the ground, his eyes filled with hatred.

Using all his powers, he bit down on the sheep’s head, sinking his fangs inside its head, as a fountain of blood erupted from it!!
