I Found a Door to the Elven Realm

Chapter 115: When Awakened Instincts Get Out of Control... -2-

Chapter 115: When Awakened Instincts Get Out of Control... -2-

Emily stood on the ruined porch of a collapsed storage shed. She fired an arrow into the sky and dropped a giant crow before throwing the bow aside and drawing her katana in a blur of silver light.

Two feline beasts leaped at her from the rubble.

She was bleeding. A long nasty gash ran down her left forearm and her right thigh was covered in dark red blood. She swung her blade and sliced the first beast open but the second one tackled her waist before she could recover. They both crashed into the dirt just as a massive troll raised its stone club. The troll roared and charged toward where she had fallen.

She was wounded and pregnant. She was moving at speeds that were tearing her own muscles apart just to protect the villagers fleeing behind her.

Something inside Eren’s brain snapped.

It wasn’t a tactical decision and he didn’t think about his mana pool or his skills. The human part of his mind completely shut down. The twenty-five-year-old guy from Earth vanished, leaving only the raw and terrifying reality of a half-elf with physical stats ten times higher than a normal human.

MINE.

Eren didn’t draw his scimitars. He hit the ground running and moved so fast the dirt exploded behind his heels in a cloud of dust.

He slammed into the side of the charging troll like a runaway truck. His sixty strength stats flared with terrifying violence. He didn’t punch the monster but instead drove his bare right hand straight through the troll’s thick leathery ribcage. He grabbed whatever organs he could find and ripped his arm sideways.

Bones shattered like dry twigs and the troll didn’t even have time to scream before it collapsed into a ruined geysering heap of green blood.

Eren didn’t stop or breathe.

He spun around and grabbed a leaping feline beast by its throat. He squeezed his massive hand and crushed the monster’s windpipe instantly, then used its twitching body as a club to smash an armored kobold into the dirt. The kobold’s skull caved in with a wet crunch.

Two more kobolds thrust their crude spears at his chest but Eren caught the wooden shafts with his bare hands. He yanked the creatures forward and headbutted the first one so hard his own forehead bled. He ripped the spear from the dead creature’s grip and drove the blunt wooden end straight through the second kobold’s face.

His clothes tore apart as his muscles swelled with adrenaline. Claws raked across his back but he couldn’t feel the pain. He let out a raw guttural roar that sounded more like a wild beast than a man. It was a sound of pure hatred and dominance.

A giant beetle snapped its mandibles at his leg but Eren stomped his foot down on the insect’s head. He crushed its thick shell into the dirt with a sickening crack and sprayed bug fluid up to his knees.

He was a meat grinder. He ripped, crushed and tore apart everything in his path using nothing but his bare hands and overwhelming physical violence. He didn’t even remember half the things he killed in the dust cloud.

Blue notification screens flashed rapidly in the corners of his vision and the system chimed multiple times in his head but he ignored all of it. He didn’t care about experience points or level ups right now. The system could burn for all he cared since he only focused on the blood and the threats.

Minutes later the immediate area went dead quiet.

Eren stood in the middle of the ruined dirt path with his chest heaving violently and his lungs burning as he gasped for air. The ground around him looked like a meteor had struck it. Fences were shattered, the dirt was cratered and at least a dozen monster corpses lay in pieces around his feet.

He slowly turned his head.

Emily leaned against the broken wooden wall of the shed. Her katana was still gripped tightly in her hand but she stared at him with wide shocked eyes.

Eren walked toward her with heavy footsteps. His clothes were completely shredded and hung off his muscular frame in bloody rags. He was essentially naked and completely drenched in green and dark red gore.

Emily opened her mouth to speak but Eren didn’t give her the chance.

He grabbed her by the waist with his giant bloody hands and pressed her flat against the wooden wall.

Emily gasped and her hands instinctively came up to push against his chest but she stopped the moment she felt the unnatural heat radiating off his skin.

Eren didn’t say a word. His face buried into the crook of her neck. He inhaled sharply and aggressively filled his lungs with her scent. He smelled her sweat, her fear and the undeniable female warmth of her body before his tongue lashed out and licked the streak of blood off her wounded shoulder.

It was grotesque and entirely unhinged. His body was acting completely on its own.

He acted like an apex predator that had just slaughtered a rival pack and was now checking its mate. His lower half pressed flush against her stomach, painfully erect and burning with a sudden overwhelming sexual heat. The adrenaline of the slaughter seamlessly converted into a raw biological urge to breed and claim.

Emily shivered against the wall. She realized what was happening and her initial shock melted into a deep flush that spread across her chest.

She didn’t push him away but dropped her katana instead. The metal clanged against the stones.

Emily wrapped her arms around his thick blood-soaked neck and ran her fingers through his messy hair. "I’m okay silly. You killed them. I’m right here."

Eren grunted as a deep vibrating sound rumbled in his chest. He nudged his nose against her jaw and sniffed her skin again before his teeth lightly scraped against her collarbone. He wanted to drag her somewhere dark and tear the rest of her clothes off.

I need to get her inside.

The thought pushed through the red haze in his mind. He grabbed her hand and practically dragged her away from the wall.

They walked through the ruined southern sector. The remaining elf guards and villagers who had arrived as backup stared at them in pure silence. Nobody dared to speak and they parted like the sea to let the towering blood-soaked half-elf and his battered wife pass.

Eren ignored all of them. His mind was hyper-focused on the scent of the woman walking beside him and the heavy aching need in his groin.

They reached their stone house and Eren pushed the door open with enough force to crack the wood.

The plastic bag from Earth still sat on the floor where he had dropped it.

Selena and Lyra stood near the kitchen counter holding small cooking knives in their hands. Their faces were pale with worry from the sounds of the screaming outside.

They both gasped when they saw Eren standing in the doorway because he was completely drenched in blood and practically naked. Selena dropped her knife.

"By the Gods." Selena stared at him with wide eyes. "Are you hurt?"

Eren didn’t look at the knives or answer her question. He just took a deep breath.

The smell of the house hit his heightened senses like a physical blow. He smelled baking bread and the sweet inviting pheromones of Selena and Lyra. The primal instinct hadn’t turned off but just expanded. They were his too.

Eren dropped Emily’s hand and walked forward.

Before Lyra could even ask what was happening Eren grabbed her by the waist with his left arm and lifted her straight off the floor. Selena let out a confused squeak as his right arm wrapped around her lower back to pull her flush against his blood-soaked chest.

Selena’s hands immediately went to his broad shoulders and she felt the insane unnatural heat radiating off his skin. "Eren what are you doing?"

He didn’t speak. He just buried his face into Selena’s neck and inhaled her scent until she let out a soft involuntary moan. He carried both of the women across the living room like they weighed absolutely nothing. The fresh blood from his arms smeared across their clean clothes but neither of them struggled. The sheer dominant aura rolling off his body completely overwhelmed their senses.

He kicked the heavy wooden door of the bedroom open, threw them both onto the large bed and stepped inside.

Emily stood alone in the living room. Her hunting tunic was torn open and her thighs ached from the fight but she didn’t move toward the bathroom to clean up.

She stared at the open bedroom door. She heard Lyra’s breath hitch and the sound of heavy movement and skin slapping against skin followed immediately.

There were already some moans and wet sounds inside in the first minute while Emily didn’t know what to do.

She swallowed hard. The psychological shock of the battle faded and a dark deeply buried part of her elven nature replaced it. She was absolutely thrilled by the beast her husband had just become.

She stepped into the bedroom with dark desire in her eyes and pulled the door shut behind her.
