"She slashed Ryan Smith afterwards," Edward Stephens said calmly.

"Sigh, you..." Daisy Ginger was somewhat helpless. Wouldn’t this thoroughly offend Emma Magus?

Edward glanced at him, "Didn’t I tell you to keep an eye on her? Didn’t you know she’s been getting close to my brother these days?"

"Your brother?" Ryan glanced at Daisy, realizing something, "Is he causing trouble again?"

At the mention of Robert Stephens, the ankle that was shot through by him back in the day began to ache faintly.

Ryan displayed an expression of discomfort.

"Pretty much the same reason as back then," Edward lowered his eyes, speaking in a flat tone. He looked at Ryan’s injured arm, "Are you sure your wound is okay? I can see it’s still bleeding."

Ryan responded weakly, "Of course there’s an issue! Can’t you see my face is pale? Little rabbit, come here, your Brother Ryan can hardly hold on anymore..."

Being a hero and saving the beauty really takes a toll on one’s body.

Elena Raven hurried over to support him.

"Come on, take me to the hospital." He leaned against Elena, his tall body practically squeezing into her petite embrace. Daisy, unable to stand it, gave Edward a push and whispered, "Look at your friend!"

At a time like this, he’s still taking advantage of her Elena!

Edward chuckled a little, persuading, "Considering how much blood he’s lost, give him a little benefit."

Daisy looked at the weak Ryan nestled in Elena’s arms, thinking that had it not been for Ryan, Emma’s knife would have landed directly on Elena. She pinched the bridge of her nose and said nothing more.

The meal was ruined by Emma Magus’s arrival.

Daisy and Edward took Ryan to a nearby hospital to get his wound bandaged. Since Ryan insisted on being hospitalized, Elena, as the beauty saved by the hero, had no choice but to stay and take care of him.

After leaving the hospital, Daisy received a call from the police station and had to rush to the station overnight to give a statement.

Emma Magus was detained in the holding cell for intentional assault, and bail wasn’t allowed until someone from the Magus family arrived.

Given her reputation and status, this outcome was disastrous. Sometimes Daisy thought that Edward could be incredibly ruthless, even though he appeared gentle and lacked the cold-heartedness and ruthlessness typical of the Stephens family’s wealthy heirs.

But judging by his actions towards Emma Magus, beneath it all, he had the same heartlessness as Robert Stephens.

If they could get Emma back to the United States to keep an eye on her, having one less ticking time bomb would be better. While Daisy felt quite conflicted about the matter, she had no objections to the outcome for Emma Magus.

The next day, Daisy and Elena returned to the film set for a reshoot. Edward sent her a text saying that the Magus family had come overnight to take Emma out of the holding cell.
