Emma Magus clutched her shoulder, looking angrily and perplexedly at Edward Stephens.
She couldn’t understand how a smart man like Edward could be fooled by a woman like Daisy Ginger.
"It’s obviously all her doing, why don’t you believe me!" she cried in rage and frustration, "She is the reason I’m in this mess, why do you all still believe her! Even if I really did something wrong, does it mean she did nothing wrong? Why do you all hate me, is she really so pure and flawless?!"
Ryan Smith, holding his arm, stood up from the ground. He felt too troubled to be playful with Elena Raven, and frowned towards Emma Magus: "Emma, Daisy said she didn’t do it, there might be a misunderstanding in this matter, can you calm down? I can investigate for you."
"Ryan!"
Emma Magus immediately turned her anger towards Ryan.
"Do you not believe me either, but instead believe this liar? Can’t you see how badly she has harmed me!?"
"Do you have any evidence?"
"The evidence is the woman behind you, who stole my lead role!" Emma Magus climbed up from the floor, pointing at Elena Raven protected by Ryan, her furious eyes turning red, "Who benefits the most from this? Isn’t it obvious? Brother Ryan, do you not believe me and instead believe this liar? Whatever she says goes, just because she denies it means she didn’t do it?!"
Ryan frowned, "I only believe in evidence." The wound was so deep it had soaked his shirt sleeve completely red, blood dribbling down from his pale fingertips, shocking to behold.
"This is Tsing City, not the United States. If you wield a knife and hurt people again, not even your father coming in person can settle it, understand?"
Emma Magus, having been dismissed by him, fell into utter despair.
She retorted sarcastically: "Ryan, I really misjudged you. For a woman, you tell lies with eyes wide open, do you really think the woman behind you is as innocent as you believe? She’s in cahoots with Daisy Ginger! Do you think you’re playing her? I think her skills are quite good, and she’ll play you to your death sooner or later!"
Ryan, also fed up with her words, said impatiently: "Emma Magus, if you continue to talk nonsense, I’ll call the police."
Emma Magus turned pale from his words, clenched her teeth, and fiercely turned to look at Daisy Ginger.
Daisy Ginger had already calmed down, standing behind Edward Stephens with a composed expression, meeting her gaze.

"It’s the police."
Daisy Ginger’s eyes widened slightly, her ears perked, and indeed she heard the sound of police sirens outside.
Outside, amidst struggles and screams, Emma Magus was forcibly taken away by the police.
