It’s night.
Elena Raven finished her last engagement, and as Daisy Ginger stepped out of the nanny van to pick her up, she saw a group of young boys and girls suddenly stand up in the crowd with a whoosh, bustling as they ran forward.
The night was already deep, yet the entrance of the television station where the show was recorded was still brightly lit. Young fans stayed up all night, holding flowers, to welcome their favorite celebrity idols.
Elena Raven certainly didn’t receive such treatment. She came out through the staff passage, saw Daisy Ginger, and ran over with a smile, "Daisy, I’m here!"
Daisy Ginger draped a coat over her for warmth, looking complexly at the celebrity walking out from the television station entrance. There were too many people to tell if it was a man or a woman, but having that many fans waiting really made one envious!
"When will you give me such face?"
Elena Raven stuck out her tongue, "Daisy, that’s Sister Kowalski."
"Her?" Daisy Ginger paused, unable to resist turning her head to look at the young woman emerging with the crowd, holding flowers and under bodyguard protection.
Dressed in extravagant attire, with elaborate makeup and charming curls, who else could it be but Emma Magus?
"I only found out she was a special guest when recording the show." Elena Raven carefully whispered in her ear, "I checked on Weibo and found out her inner fans knew she was coming to the station to record. Today is her comeback day, and they came specially to welcome her back."
Daisy Ginger didn’t really have any big emotional reaction.
Has Edward Stephens finally calmed down?
She couldn’t help but wonder.

"Let’s get in the car." Daisy Ginger patted Elena Raven’s shoulder, "It’s half past one. We have a magazine submission tomorrow, let’s go early for the interview."

"Daisy?"
Elena Raven popped her head out from the car window and called out to her.
Daisy Ginger withdrew her gaze, sat down beside Elena, closed the car door, and told the driver, "Drive on."

After dropping Elena Raven off at her place, Daisy Ginger finally returned to her home.
By the time she returned to her apartment, it was nearly 2 a.m. She took a shower and fell wearily onto the bed, glancing at her phone.

One message asked when she got off work.
