Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen

Chapter 477: Embrace and sleep together

Chapter 477: Embrace and sleep together

"I’m going to sleep now."

He held her and closed his eyes.

Why does he have to report to her before sleeping? Daisy Ginger couldn’t help but want to laugh. She pushed him, trying to get out of his embrace, but he tightened his hold on her.

"Edward Stephens, I haven’t taken a shower yet."

The man, eyes closed, said, "No need to shower, I like you just the way you are."

"..." Don’t make it sound like she’s some kind of original-flavor stockings, okay?

"But I’m not sleepy yet."

"That won’t do either." He tightened his grip even more dominantly, his warm breath brushing her face, showing no intention of letting her go.

Daisy Ginger had no choice but to sigh lightly, letting the man hold her as she stared at the ceiling.

It’s not her sleeping time yet, she didn’t feel drowsy at all, while Edward quickly fell asleep again holding her.

His instant sleep was really like a child.

Daisy Ginger couldn’t help herself, turning her head to secretly glance at him a few times.

It felt really weird. Clearly, she used to hate his deceit and domineering ways, even to the point that she didn’t want to look at him. But now she couldn’t get enough of looking at him.

She couldn’t help but indulge her heart, letting her gaze sweep inch by inch over the man’s perfectly handsome face, the contours of his face blending with Erin Ginger’s small face.

The father and son, they must have looked a lot alike when they were young, right? Although she never wanted to admit it, she felt Erin should look like her.

Will little Erin grow up to be tall and handsome like Edward Stephens?

Her thoughts ran rampant, and in the man’s arms, she slowly became drowsy, not knowing when she fell asleep.

When she woke up, it was already light outside, and she was still curled up in the man’s arms.

Daisy Ginger opened her eyes and saw the man holding her, already awake, playing with a phone.

"What time is it?" she asked somewhat annoyed.

How did she sleep longer than a patient?

But her body felt relaxed, as if she hadn’t been this relaxed in a long time.

Full of energy.

"Eight-thirty." The man put his phone away, snuggling against Daisy Ginger’s neck like a big lazy cat, "I don’t want to get out of bed today."

Daisy Ginger almost got crushed by him, she pushed him away forcefully, "Go downstairs to eat, you still have to see the doctor today."

Edward Stephens propped his arms on either side of her body, looking down at her, softly calling her, "Daisy..."

Daisy Ginger, hearing him call her name so affectionately and tenderly, felt a tingling sensation on her scalp, not out of fear, but an indescribable excitement.

He lowered his head, pressing gently against her lips, then extended, with the tip of his tongue, and licked her lips.

The hint was obvious.

Daisy Ginger raised a hand, pressing it against his mischievous lips, glaring at him, "Aren’t you afraid of dying?"

A fever of forty degrees and he’s still thinking about this, she really wanted to see if his brain was filled with mush!

The man blinked innocently, his voice muffled in her palm, "I think I’m already better."

What nonsense.

His throat was still hoarse.

Seeing Daisy Ginger’s eyes almost spewing fire, the man regretfully sat up, slowly tidying his disheveled pajamas, as if nothing had happened.

Daisy Ginger ignored him, jumped out of bed, and took a shower in the bathroom.

Listening to the sound of water splashing from the shower, the man sitting on the edge of the bed lowered his eyes, for some reason, his lips curled slightly, revealing a faint smile.
