His Hybrid Mate

Chapter 85

Chapter 85

After the holiday, Annette returned to Werewolf University to work. Unexpectedly, Marcus got her in trouble.

Annette was busy in the office when the door was suddenly pushed open.

Kyle came in with a cold face.

The others were surprised. Why was Kyle here?

Kyle turned to look at Annette. He said coldly, "Annette, come with me."

Annette put down her pen and followed him out of the office. She asked, "Kyle, what's the matter?"

"Come with me to the police station."

  "Police station?" Annette was puzzled.

"Your students had a conflict with senior students. Someone even shifted and bit the others. The senior students called the police, and your students were all brought to the police station." Kyle sneered.

Annette was shocked. "Wait a moment. Let me grab my bag."

She ran quickly back to the office, took her bag, and left the school with Kyle.

Just as she arrived at the police station, she saw Marcus at a glance, who was sitting on a stool and talking to the police.

Four boys in basketball uniforms were sitting beside him.

  They were all Annette's students.

  Kyle looked at Annette coldly.

Annette walked over in a hurry.

Marcus felt someone approached him. He turned around, only to find that it was Annette.

He stood up and frowned at Annette.

Before, he would think that Annette was here to save him.

But now, for some reason, he was a little afraid of her.

  "Why are you here?"

"Why not? What exactly happened?" Annette asked.

Another boy stood up and said, "Annette, it's not our fault. Those senior students have gone too far, and they started the fight. They can't blame us for being too harsh."

Annette winked at the boy. She turned to the police and said, "I'm sorry. I'm their student instructor. They are all good students. This won't happen again. Can I bail them out?"

Kyle went forward and said to Annette, "Go and talk with those students. Leave this to me."

Annette nodded and called the students to the side.

Soon after, Kyle and the police walked over.

The policeman said, "I'll let them go. But tell them not to do this again."

Annette said, "I will. Thank you, officer."

Kyle and Annette took the students out of the police station.

He said coldly, "Annette, I will deduct four points this time. Do you have any objections?"

Annette looked at him, her eyes with displeasure.

However, if not for Kyle, she would not have been able to bail her student out so easily.

She took a deep breath to suppress her anger and said, "No. No objections. Guys, follow Kyle's car back."

One of the male students said, "Annette, aren't you coming with us?"

"I'm going to the hospital." Annette turned and left.

Kyle looked at her back coldly and walked to his car.

Marcus asked the male student beside him, "Deduct points? What did he mean?"

"Haven't you heard of it? Kyle has set up an unreasonable scoring system for student instructors. If the student instructors do something wrong, their points will be deducted. After deducting 10 points, they will be fired. I heard that Kyle is targeting Annette. He failed to get Annette back, so he took revenge on her. It seems that we put her in trouble this time."

Marcus caught up with Kyle. He pushed Kyle and pressed him against the car with his right arm, his eyes filled with anger. "Just vent your anger on me and leave Annette out of this."

Kyle sneered. "I suggest you let go of me. Since I can save you from the police station, I can also send you back."

"Really? Then try me and see if you want to offend the Blood Moon Pack," Marcus said disdainfully.

"Blood Moon Pack?" Kyle frowned and asked, "You are from the Blood Moon Pack?"

"Yes, I am Marcus of the Blood Moon Pack. Remember, Annette has rejected you, and she is now Alpha Connor's mate. Don't pick on her again. If you are discontented with her, come to me. Otherwise, the Crystal Wolf pack will suffer."

Marcus released his arm against Kyle and rolled his eyes at Kyle. Then, he left.

Kyle stood in place and frowned slightly.

He thought, 'So, Annette doesn't have an affair with Marcus...'

He regretted what he said to Annette last time.

Why did Annette never explain herself?

Marcus chased after Annette and saw her get in a taxi.

He hailed another taxi and followed her.

Annette went to check on the students who were beaten up.

Marcus looked into the ward at the door, but he did not enter.

Not long after, Annette came out of the ward and saw Marcus standing against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

She frowned and asked, "Why are you here?"

Marcus took his hands out of his pockets and said awkwardly, "I have the same question for you."

  "What do you think?"

Marcus did not say anything. Annette glanced back before walking to the door. She said, "Let's go."

Marcus followed her and explained, "It is not our fault."

  "I know."

"I have something to discuss with you," Marcus said.

  "What is it?" Annette asked.

"Can you not tell Connor what happened today?"

Annette lowered her head and smiled.

Marcus frowned. "Why are you laughing?"

"I didn't know that you would be afraid too once in a while."

"I'm not afraid. Connor and I are still in an argument. I don't wanna give him another reason to shout at me."

Annette was silent for a moment. She knew the reason for their argument.

Marcus saw Annette's guilty expression and said, "Kyle has been bullying you. But you don't intend to tell Connor, right?"
