Chapter 144 Elf Boy Dong Yu

Then his expression changed to shock as he murmured, "I never imagined you were truly a Rare Class Holder. No Rare Class Holder has ever emerged from Hedun City! "Over five hundred years?" Huang Yi couldn’t help but observe him more closely. As expected of the Elf Race, over five hundred years old, and still only a youth. "Then you must have a wealth of knowledge!" he asked thoughtfully.

"Indeed!" Dong Yu nodded. "In my five hundred years, I have traveled the continent, seen various people and creatures, but have never encountered a Rare Class Holder. Your kind is indeed rare." He then looked at Huang Yi more intently, as if he was examining a rare animal, his excitement barely contained.

"Since you’re so knowledgeable, what do you think is the most useful ability for a fighter to have?" Huang Yi asked. He was now level 45 but still hadn’t Evolved because he couldn’t decide which direction to evolve in. Such Evolution was irreversible. Once Evolved, he couldn’t devolve and choose again; hence, choosing the direction for Evolution had to be done very cautiously. Dong Yu was an Elf who had lived for over five hundred years and had a broad experience. Consulting his opinion could save a lot of trial and error.

"The most useful ability for a fighter? That’s an odd question." Dong Yu pondered with a frown and then replied, "I think the most useful ability would be Resurrection. Life is the most important, after all. You have to survive to continue fighting."

"Indeed, then which Races have Revival Abilities?" Huang Yi continued to inquire. He too had considered the Revival Ability, for at least life would have significant protection, and he wouldn’t lose levels or undergo Reincarnation upon death. Among the common or notable Races, the ones with the most Revival Abilities tend to be Undead Species. The Skeleton King Clan can resurrect once on the spot at full status after death; Necromancers also have Revival Abilities, though it requires a long wait; and the Zombified Clan’s Revival Ability is disgusting, resurrecting into a foul-smelling Zombie." Dong Yu said, covering his nose as if he could smell the stench, "However, these Undead creatures can only be resurrected under very specific circumstances, which need the right time and place. Otherwise, they cannot be resurrected. Additionally, one of the Top Cosmic Races, the Moon Clan, owns the ability of Moon Resurrection, which allows them to resurrect on the moon after death. Some members of the Dragon Clan also possess Revival Abilities. For instance, one of the current strongest of the three Royal Dragon Clans, the Holy Giant Dragon, can be resurrected into Holy Light after death, although they can only resurrect thrice in a lifetime. Moreover, the White Dragon Clan has a hint of Revival Ability, although it’s a stretch. I won’t go into that."
