Chapter 531: Get Out Of My Body
Chapter 531: Get Out Of My Body
Inside Dahlia’s body, a silent battle raged. Her consciousness clashed against the soul of the demonic dragon, Navrel, the Demon Duke, within a vast, intangible space.
A low, amused laugh echoed as the dragon looked at her. "Heh... to think I ended up inside you."
Navrel glanced around, his grin widening with unsettling delight. "I never imagined your body would be so... perfect."
He flexed his arm, as though testing a new form, savoring the current of power flowing through Dahlia’s veins.
"I don’t know how you managed it, but I’ve never seen a dragon’s body this pure."
He pinched at the air, examining the energy as if it were something tangible.
"Every speck of you is saturated with pristine dragon power."
His eyes sharpened, his smile stretching into something more dangerous.
"If I take this body for myself... and fuse it with my power..."
A burst of manic laughter tore through the space.
"Ahahaha... I wouldn’t just rise again as a Demon Duke... I would ascend as a true Demon Lord."
Across from him, Dahlia stood her ground. Her fists tightened, her gaze unwavering.
"Don’t even think about it, you overgrown lizard. This is my body."
Navrel turned to her, chuckling. "Oh? Did you forget, little girl?"
He raised a claw, unleashing his presence.
The crushing force bore down on her, pressing her toward the ground.
"You already lost to me once."
His expression darkened as memory surfaced. "If not for that mongrel, Sorien, I would have finished you."
His eyes flared with anger, his voice rising. "And instead of me taking you... I was the one who died."
A pause, then his smile returned, colder than before.
"But now... here I am. I don’t even know how I ended up inside you... but it doesn’t matter."
His aura surged, intensifying the pressure around her. "This time, I won’t hold back."
Despite the weight bearing down on her, Dahlia forced herself forward, step by step.
"You think I’m the same as before, huh? You’re very wrong, Navrel..."
She took another step, steady and deliberate. "I’ve trained harder than ever... far harder than you could possibly imagine."
The wind gathered around her once more, slowly intensifying, rising into a powerful current that coiled and surged.
"And for your information, you overgrown lizard... this is my body. Not yours."
Her eyes locked onto Navrel as she roared, her voice shaking the very air.
"Everything here is mine."
The space itself trembled. Power surged from every direction, drawn toward her, wrapping around her, feeding her strength.
Her form expanded, growing larger... until she towered over Navrel.
His expression faltered. "No... no, how can you do this?"
He pointed at the energy swirling around her. "That’s pure dragon power! Only a true dragon like me can control it!"
Dahlia looked down at him, her gaze sharp and unyielding. "Yes, you are a true dragon, but you’ve forgotten one thing."
She raised her hand, effortlessly gripping the energy surrounding her. "This body is mine. And I am its sole owner."
Navrel took a step back, his confidence slipping. "That’s not possible... As a true dragon, I... I..."
Dahlia laughed, the sound cutting through his words.
She tilted her head, a grin spreading across her face. "And also... do you really think I’m weak?"
She spread her arms wide, the power around her flaring in response. "Did you really think you controlled this space?"
Her laughter deepened as she shook her head.
"Let me tell you something, Navrel... I’ve been playing with you from the very beginning."
Navrel froze. "What?"
Dahlia exhaled softly, her expression settling into a calm, almost amused look.
"You saw it, didn’t you? Out there. I was losing the fight... or at least, that’s what it looked like."
A smirk curled across her lips. "I used this moment to fix myself... honestly... to have a little fun."
She lifted a hand and pointed directly at him. "And you were the perfect opportunity to have some fun."
Navrel’s aura flared violently, the air around him distorting with rage. "How dare you! You think I’m just some toy to you?!"
Before he could finish, Dahlia moved.
In an instant, her hand shot forward and seized his entire body.
Navrel thrashed wildly, his form flickering as he struggled to break free. "NO! LET GO OF ME!"
Dahlia pulled him closer, bringing him level with her face.
A slow, satisfied smile spread across her lips. "Thank you for the game, Navrel."
She opened her mouth.
Navrel’s eyes widened in horror. "YOU BASTARD! I AM A DEMON LORD!!!"
Dahlia didn’t even flinch.
In a single, fluid motion, she swallowed him whole.
His voice cut off abruptly. His form collapsed inward, his essence unraveling as his soul shattered and dispersed.
Dahlia absorbed everything, his power, his energy, pulling it into herself, claiming it as her own.
Silence followed.
Then, a sudden pulse appeared as new information flooded her mind.
Dahlia’s brow furrowed in shock. "What the hell is this?!"
---
Sianor, Floren, Clark, and the other Perfection Realm cultivators suddenly frowned as they turned their attention to Dahlia.
Rachel noticed the shift immediately.
She glanced at Sianor, her brows knitting together. "What is it? Why are you all looking at Dahlia like that?"
Floren raised his fan to cover his mouth, though the smile in his eyes betrayed him. "Oh, don’t worry, Miss Rachel... it’s just..."
Clark let out a short chuckle and shook his head. "Congratulations."
Rachel blinked, caught off guard. "What?"
She turned back toward the crater, confusion written plainly across her face.
"Congratulations for what? Dahlia is still down there."
Sianor stepped forward slightly, his gaze fixed on the center of the arena.
"Allow me to explain, Miss Rachel. The aura Dahlia is releasing right now... it’s extremely close to the Perfection Realm."
Rachel froze for a second. "You mean..."
Sianor smiled and nodded. "Yes, exactly what you’re thinking, Miss Rachel. That’s why Clark congratulated you."
Rachel slowly turned her gaze back to the crater, her expression shifting from confusion to disbelief.
