RYU SUNGBIN was sober plenty of times these days, all thanks to Noh Yuno’s presence.
Just standing next to the kid was enough to give him a clear head.

"I’m just afraid that Jacob might end up killing Noh Yihun. Or injure him heavily."
"Then you’re worrying about something stupid. That won’t happen. Noh Yuno won’t die, and he won’t even get so much as a scratch even if your brother tries to hurt him for real."
"What makes you so confident about that?"
"Noh Yuno has Ki Gayoon now," Ryu Sungbin said bluntly. "Ki Gayoon is the strongest Esper in Korea. He was even once a high-ranking World Ranker. If it weren’t for his obsession with growing his construction company, he would have been the #1 World Ranker instead of 17."
"Your faith in Ki Gayoon puts me at ease."
"You can trust me on this," Ryu Sungbin said. "Anyway, the cloning device is under your custody at the moment, isn’t it?"
"Yes. But we can’t hand it over freely. You know that we’re also pretending to be brainwashed."
"We still have time to lure Ki Gayoon in. Once Bambi and the other monsters become too busy dealing with Ki Gayoon and Noh Yuno, you can use that chance to target Ki Gayoon’s subordinates."

"Yeah. You have more things to worry about in the meantime," Erwan said, pausing for a moment. "You have to convince Song Heejin and the fake Matthew that it’s time for Moon Noa to unseal his memories."

Ryu Sungbin was glad that he was sober at that moment.
But, of course, he didn’t let it show.
This is a golden opportunity, so I can’t miss this.
"Bambi can still overpower Ki Gayoon and Noh Yuno," Ryu Sungbin said calmly. "The old Bambi, I mean."

He couldn’t believe that he lived well while Ryu Sungbin, Jin Sooin, Lee Sarang, and Matthew were suffering.

Yes, Ki Gayoon had already known that Matthew was gone.

"Gayoon-ah, the ’person’ possessing Matthew’s body now may be Charles Kang," Ryu Sungbin said. "But that Charles Kang is also being possessed by the Virus. That also seems to be the case for Song Heejin."
"So, you’re telling me that the Virus are controlling Charles Kang and Song Heejin at the same time?"

Ki Gayoon scoffed. "The System is a useless god, if he were one."
Ryu Sungbin smirked bitterly. "And that’s why we need to work extra hard."
"Alright. What should I do? Why do I need to steal the cloning device."
"The cloning device is using Noa Hyung’s heart as a power source, but it’s running out of Mana now. They want to use the remaining half of Noa Hyung’s heart to keep it working," Ryu Sungbin explained, pausing for a moment. "But if they fail to fetch the remaining half of Noa Hyung’s heart, they will target Noh Yuno’s."
"Fucking bastards," Ki Gayoon cursed under his breath. "Like hell I’d let that happen."

Yuno looked confused at first as to why Jericho, and even 17, looked shocked by his revelation.
And then he remembered that these two were outsiders.
