Chapter 615: Haruno Finally Notices

On Friday, Ichin and the other two went to the company, leaving Haruno alone at home sleeping soundly.

Ichin had already prepared lunch for her in the morning. Although Haruno could cook some simple dishes herself, and if necessary she could always order takeout, Ichin considered that she had been working overtime a lot lately and had worked quite hard, so he simply prepared lunch for her.

It was close to noon before Haruno finally came out of the bedroom with a messy head of hair.

She hadn't even changed out of her nightdress and casually walked downstairs like that.

Although they weren't plated on dishes, the three bowls were still filled to the brim, more than enough for Haruno's lunch.

Looking at the three dishes, Haruno's stomach immediately started growling.

For the entire day, she didn't go out at all. After lunch, she held one of the cats in her arms, pushed all thoughts about work aside, watched TV, and played on her phone. Before she realized it, evening had arrived.

The evening was about the same. However, after resting well and finishing dinner, she did help tidy up the living room. Wiping the table and putting the dishes into the dishwasher were all handled by her.

Standing with her hands on her hips, Haruno said with a smile, "This is my way of thanking you for preparing lunch for me today, Ichin."

"If you could take the initiative to do some housework even without the lunch incident, I'd be even happier," Ichin said with a smile, shaking his head. "Alright, everything's cleaned up. Haruno-nee, go rest. I'll make some tea."

"OK~~~"

By the time Ichin finished making the tea and came back to the living room, Utaha and the other two were already discussing where to go tomorrow.

Haruno raised her hand and said, "Let's go to Ueno Zoo! I want to see pandas!"

When Yukino heard this, although she also wanted to go, she still refuted it directly.

"Sis, seeing the pandas requires a lottery now. Tomorrow's tickets are already gone."

"Ah, I almost forgot about that."

Ever since the birth of the panda cub at Ueno, the number of people wanting to see the pandas had increased dramatically. There were so many visitors that the zoo couldn't handle them all, so they had adopted a lottery system.

Haruno said with a disappointed expression, "I really want to see pandas. If I had known earlier, when we went to China in July I should have set aside a day or two to see them."

After pouring tea for everyone, Ichin sat down and said, "If you want to see pandas, there will be plenty of chances later. For now, let's think about where to go tomorrow."

After discussing for a while, everyone finally decided to go visit Tokyo Skytree. There were plenty of things to do around that area, so it wouldn't be boring, and they could also have dinner there.

With tomorrow's outing decided, Haruno happily drank tea, ate snacks, and watched TV.

At around ten o'clock, since she had spent the entire afternoon watching TV and playing on her phone, Haruno became sleepy early. She was the first to go take a shower and head to bed.

"Since we're going out tomorrow, you guys should go to bed early too~~~"

After saying that following her shower, Haruno entered the bedroom and closed the door.

Watching Haruno enter the room, Ichin said to Utaha and Yukino, "I bet Haruno-nee will definitely sleep in tomorrow."

Stretching lazily while standing on Ichin's other side, Utaha said, "Still, we should go to bed early. I've been revising my graduation thesis all day today. I'm exhausted. Yukino, let's go take a bath together. Ichin, do you want to join?"

"I'll pass. There's a tennis match later. I'll watch it first and then take a shower."

Bathing together was certainly tempting, but Haruno was still resting at the moment, so Ichin had to restrain himself.

Later at night, when it was time to sleep, things would be different.

For now, he would just go watch the match. The recent games had all been very intense.

Saturday morning, eight o'clock.

Because she had already rested the entire day on Friday, Haruno woke up right on time today.

Sitting up in bed, she stretched comfortably and looked at the sunlight outside.

But the moment she stepped out, she saw the door to Ichin's room open.

The person who came out, however, was not Ichin.

It was Utaha and Yukino.

Both of them.

Haruno froze in place, staring blankly as the two of them walked out together, yawning.

After finishing their yawns, Utaha and Yukino also noticed Haruno standing at the bedroom door in a daze, and both of them froze as well.

When they came back to their senses, they looked at each other.

They both knew things were not good.

Why did Haruno have to wake up at this exact moment?

Haruno reacted quickly and immediately ran over, peeking into Ichin's room. Sure enough, she saw Ichin sitting on the bed, yawning.

Narrowing her eyes, her tone gradually turned unfriendly.

"I knew something felt off. I didn't expect it to be like this. Go on, explain. Yukino, don't try to say you came to wake him up. I'm not going to believe that."

Ichin had also heard Haruno's voice by now and scratched his head awkwardly.

Ten minutes later, the four of them had all gathered in the living room on the first floor.

Haruno sat alone on the three-seater sofa, while Ichin, Utaha, and Yukino sat together beside each other.

After listening to their explanation, Haruno rubbed her forehead in frustration.

"I really didn't expect things to turn out like this. I never thought Utaha would agree to this kind of relationship. And even Mother didn't oppose it after finding out. What is the world coming to?"
