Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 220: The Shadow Of The Sovereign

Chapter 220: The Shadow Of The Sovereign

[Path to the Tower.]

"What are you talking about?!! And who’s your Master?!!" Andrew yelled, the sheer absurdity of the claim breaking through his fear. He summoned his legendary spear, the shaft vibrating with the heat of his rising fury.

"Uh? Everything I said is in humans’ language, why can’t you understand it?" Luigi asked in pure, genuine confusion. To her, the hierarchy was so obvious that the students’ lack of comprehension felt like a glitch.

"Shut up!!"

Andrew shot forward, his boots kicking up a cloud of dry earth. He thrust his spear forward with everything he had: "Fire Dragon Spear!!" He yelled.

A massive wave of hyper-compressed flames manifested at the tip, spiraling into the shape of a roaring drake aimed straight at Luigi’s heart.

"Get out."

One single word. It wasn’t a shout, but a command that vibrated the very atoms of the surrounding space. An invisible force smashed into Andrew with the weight of a falling mountain. The fire dragon vanished instantly, snuffed out like a candle in a hurricane. Andrew was sent flying backward, his ribs snapping under the pressure. He smashed into the ground fifty meters away and vomited a mouthful of dark blood, his health bar plunging into the critical zone.

"This? Was that a sound attack!" Nirvana was horrified, her golden bangles humming a frantic defensive frequency.

"No bloodline can use a Sound attack!! Not to mention it’s a myth-tier ability, no one has ever seen it!" Honky yelled in disbelief, his shield arm trembling. It wasn’t just sound; it was the world itself rejecting Andrew’s presence.

"We will deal with her!!"

The remaining eight drew their weapons in unison, the air thick with the resonance of Legendary and Epic tier steel, all ready to launch a desperate coordinated strike.

"Stand down."

The command was cold, sharp, and came from behind them. They all looked at one another, then looked over their shoulders at Jessica.

"She is here for me. Don’t go and waste your lives," she said, her voice devoid of its usual arrogance, replaced by a grim, calculated weight. She stepped forward, her white sword held in a low, disciplined guard.

"But Captain?"

"I say stand down." Jessica snapped at them, her gaze never leaving Luigi as she walked to the front of the formation. The nine looked at one another and, feeling the absolute gap in power, helplessly took a step back.

"Luigi... May I ask something?"

"Well, you’ll die in a moment, so go ahead." Luigi nodded, casually inspecting her nails, her posture so relaxed it was an insult to the Sword Academy’s strongest team.

"Is Mirabella your Master?" Jessica asked, her eyes searching for any flicker of a lie.

Luigi looked up, her expression shifting instantly. Her eyes, once bored, were now filled with a killing intent so dense it turned the air into a physical weight. "You dare address my Master by her name?" she asked, her voice dropping into a register that felt like a predator’s growl.

Instantly, the Nine behind Jessica dropped to their knees, their lungs seizing. Their eyes widened in horror, their gazes fixed ahead as if they were staring into the literal maw of an eldritch god. The sheer pressure of Luigi’s loyalty was enough to trigger a ’Fear’ debuff that paralyzed their nervous systems.

"I apologize, but withdraw your killing intent!" Jessica yelled, her own energy flaring to shield herself. She couldn’t lose any of her teammates—not out of sentiment, but because the point loss would be irrecoverable.

"I will withdraw it after I kill you," Luigi said. But before she could move, the sky above Jessica began to groan and warp, the space literally tearing open like wet parchment.

"...?!"

Luigi tilted her head to the side, curious rather than afraid.

"How dare you!! I wanted to talk this out, but now! I will have to kill you!" Jessica snapped. Her face contorted as her forehead split open with a sickening squelch, and a Mythic Eye—a blood-red, spinning vertical pupil—emerged. It pulsed with a rhythmic, necrotic light.

"Oh? You’re from that old man’s family. How is Bauhinia doing?" Luigi asked casually.

The name hit the group like a physical blow. ’This! Emperor Bauhinia is the great-grandfather of the current Sword Empire’s emperor...’ Nirvana thought in disbelief. The casual way this woman spoke of a legendary founder—as if he were a mere acquaintance not worth her time—sent a chill through their souls. A single thought echoed in all their minds:

’Who the hell is Mirabella, and what kind of monsters does she keep as ’slaves’?’

GRAAAAAAAAA!!!

A massive, black-scaled face burst through the spatial crack above Jessica, followed by wicked claws and a gargantuan, muscular body. The Nine kneeling behind Jessica finally snapped out of their shock, only to freeze again, staring at the 30-meter-tall Black Scale Wyvern hovering above their Captain.

With every flap of its wings, the surrounding forest was scoured by gale-force winds and dust.

’A Black Scale Wyvern? The King banished these things from the surface world ages ago... To humans, they are priceless, extinction-level Beasts.’ Luigi sighed, looking up at the creature as if it were a bothersome fly. She raised one finger, pointing it directly at Jessica’s forehead.

"Recall this, or I will kill it," she said in a flat tone.

The threat was so absurd that Jessica burst into a frantic, hysterical laughter. "Hahahaha!! You’re so arrogant!!" She drew her sword, the Mythic Eye on her forehead locking onto Luigi’s vitals, and shot forward with pure, unadulterated killing intent.

She appeared in front of Luigi in a blur of speed, swinging her blade in a horizontal arc designed to bisect a mountain. It missed. Jessica didn’t waste a second, her swordsmanship becoming a whirlwind of steel, swinging continuously in a relentless dance. Luigi kept dodging—moving right, then left, swaying with a fluid, terrifying grace that made it look like she was dancing through raindrops. She perfectly evaded every strike, a playful smile on her face.

’What is this?!! Even with my Mythic Eye’s predictive sight, I can’t hit her!! Why!!!’ Jessica thought, her desperation mounting as her third eye glowed with blinding intensity, attempting to lock the very space around Luigi.

"Oh?"

Luigi shot into the air a millisecond before the space she had occupied shattered into jagged crystalline shards and then mended itself.

’This?’ Jessica stopped, panting, staring up at Luigi who was now hovering effortlessly in the air.

’She dodged a conceptual, invisible attack? How did she know? Does she also have one?’

"Your skills are good, but your swordsmanship is too poor," Luigi remarked, looking down with pity. "And do you actually think there isn’t a counter to those eyes? The Mythic Eye, Celestial eyes, and Soul eyes... I can easily counter them all. They all rely on the same fundamental frequency of the soul."

GRAAAAAAAAA!!!

The Wyvern seized the moment, flanking Luigi. It appeared in front of her, casting a shadow that blotted out the sun, and swung a claw the size of a carriage.

"Hahaha! She is dead!! That’s the move that killed the Head Cutter Boss!!" Flash yelled from the ground, his face twisted in a hopeful grin.

"How do you know it’s the move?" Ophelia asked, her voice tight with doubt.

"I don’t know, I guessed, but I am sure she is done for!"

Luigi didn’t even look at the claw. "Get away, you bug."

She casually waved her hand, as if shooing a gnat. A shockwave of pure, unfiltered power smashed into the Wyvern. The 30-meter-tall, multi-ton creature was sent flying backward like a discarded toy, smashing heavily into the ground with an impact that caused a localized earthquake.

"....?!!!"

"WHAT?!!!"

Everyone—the students on the field and the millions watching in the Arena—froze in utter horror. A Lv500 creature had been swatted aside by a hand-wave. The hierarchy of power hadn’t just been broken; it had been deleted.
