Chapter 216: The Primordial Awakening

Chapter 216: The Primordial Awakening

[Thank You Akbeauty87 For Gifting Mirabella A Magic Castle.]

[Southern Region.]

The air on the ruined summit was thick with the foul stench of demonic energy, slowly dissipating under the relentless southern sun. Mirabella bent down, her boots crunching against the shattered stone of the crater she had created, and picked up a black crystal. It pulsed with a sickening, corruptive rhythm, feeling entirely alien against her skin. A slight frown formed on her face as the System immediately analyzed the dark artifact:

{Name: Villain Crystal.}

{Information: Can increase the level of the user by 100 plus.}

{Note: Can Corrupt a Normal cultivator who haven’t taken the dark path, and once the corruption reaches its peak, the Cultivator will lose all his or her powers, and die.}

Her tactical mind immediately began connecting the scattered dots of her knowledge.

’This? In the way to Ragon city, the devil cult member was using this crystal. That explains why he is so powerful, but...’ She paused, her gaze drifting to the broken, lifeless body of the fifth demon pillar lying in the dust.

’How did the demons possess this? Are they working together?’ The alliance between mortal devil cults and abyssal demons was a variable that could drastically alter the timeline. She stood up, her fingers tightening around the jagged edges, and crushed the crystal in her hand. The dark energy flared momentarily before being entirely neutralized by her overwhelming spirit pressure.

’No matter, I don’t actually care about them... If you don’t mess with me or my plans, I won’t kill you.’ She thought. Her goals were singular and absolute; grand conspiracies only mattered if they stood in her way. She snapped her fingers, channeling a spark of hyper-condensed fire energy, instantly burning the body into fine, gray ashes that scattered in the wind.

{Congratulations, Host gained a storage ring.}

"....?!"

Mirabella was stunned, her stance faltering for a fraction of a second as a red, intricately carved ring materialized in the air in front of her, hovering on a cushion of light.

’Any fighters who are on the right path is blessed by the system, which grant them Galaxy bracelets, with these, they could store all their belongings in their spatial storage, but demons doesn’t have these bracelets.’ She analyzed the ring, recognizing the ancient, chaotic runes etched into the metal.

’So they forged something else, which is known as storage rings... I wonder how many treasures are inside?’ The sheer pragmatic greed of a veteran player surfaced. An Elite Demon Pillar’s hoarded loot could fund a small city. She kept the Ring, sliding it securely into her own spatial inventory for later decryption, and turned towards the tournament flag fluttering innocently nearby.

"I can return to the tower in less than five minutes, but what about the points? Even if other teams first us in speed, they won’t pass us with points." She strategized aloud. Her aggro-pull plan with her teammates was already in motion. She stopped in front of the flag, reaching out casually.

But the moment her palm touched the fabric, the ambient energy violently spiked. A massive discharge of golden lightning struck out from the pole, striking her finger with the force of a high-tier spell.

{Magical Damage Taken: -50,000.}

Mirabella didn’t even flinch, though the sheer systemic value of the trap was baffling.

"A whole fifty thousand damage, this competition is crazy... Some students don’t even have that much health points, if some stupid Lv50 touch this without protection, they will instantly be killed." She muttered, noting the brutal design of the Academy’s test. The organizers were actively trying to weed out the weak through lethal environmental hazards. She surrounded her palm with a dense layer of pure spirit energy, acting as an absolute insulator, then grabbed the flag tightly.

With one effortless pull of her God-tier physical strength, she removed it from the ground.

[Competition World Announcement: Dragon Academy’s Team Captured Their flag.]

Mirabella looked up at the sky, hearing the announcement echo through the heavens of the southern region like thunder. A slight frown appeared on her face.

"I haven’t heard anything from the other teams, it means they haven’t gotten theirs." The complete dominance of her team was proceeding exactly as calculated. She kept the flag in her storage and sat down on the warm stone, the battle adrenaline fading into calculated calm.

"What should I do now?" She looked around the hill, her enhanced vision scanning the horizon, not seeing any sign of her teammates returning with their lured monster swarms yet.

"Forget it, I should check my new Bloodline."

The system’s screen appeared in front of her, its digital interface glowing with a unique, regal crimson hue, showing her new bloodline parameters:

{Name: Dragon Bloodline.}

{First Skill: Gained Complete Immunity To All Fire and Mental Attacks.}

{Note: It doesn’t offer Protection from Mind reading and searching skills.}

Mirabella slowly nodded her head, piecing together the timeline of her recent encounters. ’True, Because if it does, Luigi won’t be able to read my thoughts... But system, I thought you can protect my thoughts.’

{....}

The System responded with absolute, heavy silence.

’I suspect you already know she will submit, that must be the reason you gave her the chance... This system is truly strange.’ Mirabella sighed. The sentient nature of her interface was a mystery she hadn’t yet unraveled; it guided her, protected her, but also forced her into cosmic hierarchies she didn’t fully understand. She swiped the holographic screen to check the other skills.

{Second Skill: Primordial Dragon Flames. LOCKED.}

{Third Skill: True Dragon Transformation. LOCKED.}

’True Dragon Transformation?’ Mirabella was flabbergasted.

{True Dragon Transformation: Host will gain the skill to transform into a true Dragon, ruling the seas and commanding the heavens. Once transformed, all stats will be increased by 500%.}

Mirabella blinked, dumbfounded, staring at the information in shock. A flat 500% multiplier applied to her already broken, God-level baseline stats would elevate her to a walking extinction-level event. It defied every known balancing metric of Galaxy Fall.

’When I was offered all these bloodlines when I entered Galaxy Fall, I didn’t pick the Dragon Bloodline because of its disadvantage... System, do you remember it?’

The system’s screen loaded for some seconds, processing her query against the universal database, and new information appeared for comparison:

{Bloodline: Dragon Description: +100% ALL primary stats. Dragon transformation. Gained one random element. +300% ALL stats in fire surroundings.}

{Disadvantages: Vulnerable to all other elemental attacks apart from the one gained. Weak against darkness magic. Vulnerable to darkness-based weapons.}

’I have a feeling this dragon Bloodline is different and weaker than the one I acquired.’

{Correct Host.}

{Host Current Bloodline is due to Host Absorbing the tear of a true Primordial Dragon.}

{Due to this, Host’s current Dragon Bloodline has no Disadvantage.}

Mirabella smiled lightly, staring at the information before her. To possess a supreme-tier racial upgrade with zero drawbacks meant she had entirely broken the rules of mortality. But the origin of this absolute power sent a chill through her.

’I wonder how I came in contact with such a precious thing as a Primordial Dragon’s tear... Wait!’ Her eyes widened in absolute disbelief as the terrifying realization struck her. The cosmic marriage, the submissive angel, the absolute suppression...

’Was it because of him?! The Great King?! Is he that powerful?!’
