Minos shook his head. "Yes and no. The moment the timeline changes, the original spacetime will automatically split off into a parallel world. It won’t affect the original one."
Sang Luo had just breathed a sigh of relief when a sudden, sharp pain shot through her stomach, and she cried out.
"Ah!"
’It’s time!’
Minos quickly withdrew the Time Domain. At almost the exact same moment, Sha teleported over, swept Sang Luo into his arms, and rushed to the prepared delivery room.
Minos hurried after them.
Even though Sang Luo had taken a Pain Relief Pill in advance, she couldn’t withstand the soul-crushing agony. It was far worse than any of her previous births! The pain was so intense it brought tears to her eyes. She wanted nothing more than to curse that bastard Sha until she was blue in the face—who ever heard of risking your life just to have a baby!
Unfortunately, Sang Luo was in too much pain to even get a single curse out. Her vision was completely blurred by tears.
Her face was red and swollen, the veins in her neck looked ready to burst, and her whole body was soaked in sweat as if she’d been ravaged by a torrential downpour... She was in an unimaginably wretched state!
Seeing her like this, a flicker of pity crossed Sha’s eyes. He placed his long, sturdy arm in front of her mouth.
Without a second thought, Sang Luo bit down!
She bit down hard, wanting nothing more than to rip that piece of flesh, skin and all, right off his arm!
Soon, the metallic tang of blood filled her mouth, and the physical agony actually seemed to lessen.
Sha lowered his head and gently kissed her forehead. He did nothing to stop the wound on his arm, letting the blood flow freely until it had soaked the side of Sang Luo’s face, her collar, and the bedsheets.
Sha had long since set up a Shielding Array within the hall. Sang Luo couldn’t hear the increasingly chaotic screams and wails of the palace servants outside, nor could she see the countless twisted, horrifying specters and resentful spirits crawling out of the Ghost Domain’s dark soil.
As if drawn by some delectable aroma, these mindless monsters converged on Rashamon Palace at a terrifying speed of several kilometers per second. The fastest among them scaled the high walls, broke into the palace, and began snatching up members of the Ghost Clan, devouring them before advancing toward the central palace!

Far away in Qingqiu, Yan also felt the fluctuation of the soul mark.
Normally, they weren’t too worried when Sang Luo gave birth, but this time, the soul mark’s fluctuations were so widespread that they all felt a piercing pain!

They writhed and shrieked in agony on the ground, but the flames could not be extinguished. Instead, they burned hotter and hotter, until both their hearts and souls were incinerated!
An endless black mist coalesced into a gigantic, sky-blotting Soaring Snake. Its black wings were like the falling night, and its deep purple beast eyes radiated a bone-chilling cold.
The Demon Snake opened its mouth to reveal sharp fangs, spewing a venomous Demonic Qi that devoured all in its path, turning everything into sustenance!
Lou Xianyue’s eyes transformed into eerie blue vertical pupils. His skin became covered in dense, silver-blue scales, his ears turned into ear fins as hard as metal, and his hands morphed into sharp claws capable of tearing anything apart. His lower body became a slender fish tail, a full three to four meters long.
His beast form wasn’t as massive or imposing as the others, but his throat emitted waves of invisible, almost tangible sonic vibrations—the most terrifying weapon of the Deep Sea!
Moon Shadow String Sound. The tidal waters surged forth, powerful enough to crush mountains and shatter stone.
Tens of thousands of Netherworld Monsters either died with blood bursting from their orifices, were consumed while lost in an Illusion Realm, or were dragged into an eternal deep by the tides!
The two Little Angels transformed into their Divine Angel forms. Their sun-bright golden wings pierced the darkness, broke through the mist, and seared the sin and filth hidden in the world’s dark corners!
Each held a bow, and a sky full of arrows rained down, striking the Netherworld Monsters and turning them into clouds of Black Qi.
Little Qi and Little Yuan also took their beast forms. The two Heaven-swallowing Pythons had horns, and they actually radiated the True Dragon’s Might of an Ancient Divine Beast!
Whether it was the mindless Netherworld Monsters or the Evil Spirits with some semblance of intelligence, all were struck with fear. Their legs went weak, and they wanted to prostrate themselves on the ground, unable to take another step forward.
Little Treasure, meanwhile, transformed into a black mist with no physical form at all. It spread out over a radius of dozens of kilometers, and no one knew where "it" truly was. Any ghostly creature the black mist touched was instantly reduced to ash!
In front of Sang Luo, the children usually appeared in their cute and cuddly infant forms, but when they revealed their true shapes, they were powerful beings almost unrivaled in the world!
All the children transformed into their beast forms and, together with their fathers, raised an indestructible shield in front of the delivery room, protecting that small corner of the world.
The Netherworld Monsters also learned. They actually condensed into a single, massive, malformed creature nearly ten thousand feet tall, its power soaring beyond the Divine Venerable Realm!
A Nine-tailed White Fox as massive as a mountain range stood in the air, locked in a desperate, evenly-matched battle with the behemoth.
"Dad, I’ll help you!" Little Nuonuo also transformed into her beast form. Though she was several sizes smaller, the might radiating from her was no less than her father’s. With one bite, she tore the behemoth’s back to shreds.
But these Netherworld Monsters seemed endless, impossible to kill completely. The battlefield grew ever more intense and desperate. Ever since breaking through to the Venerable Realm, Little Zhenzhen had comprehended the talent [All Things Breaking]. Now a Venerable Realm expert herself, she had successfully broken through the Barrier under the protection of her fox uncle and the others, bringing Little Carp with her.
"Mother, Uncle Minos!"
As soon as the two girls entered the room and saw Sang Luo on the bed, weakened to her absolute limit, their hearts ached and tears streamed down their faces.
Minos crouched down and took hold of the two children. "How did you get here? Outside... have your fathers and siblings all come as well?"
"Mhm, it’s not just us. Little Rose and Little Apple came too. We felt that Mother was in a lot of pain and wanted to come see, but we didn’t expect there to be so, so many monsters outside! I don’t know how long Dad and the others can hold on!" Little Carp said worriedly.

Minos had seen these things in a time prophecy and had anticipated this day’s events. He said in a grave voice,
"They are the Evil Spirits of the Ghost Domain."

Because of its unique nature, it must constantly receive the souls of the dead from countless worlds. These souls produce immense resentment, and many of these resentful spirits can never be reincarnated. After they gradually fade away, still clinging to their obsessions, the energy they release in turn nurtures and shapes the Ghost Domain as we know it today, becoming a part of the domain itself."
