From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 406: Otherworld Poverty Alleviation Plan

Chapter 406: Otherworld Poverty Alleviation Plan

"Exchange studies?" Hearing this proposal, the two deities with Powerful Divine Power were indeed moved!

They were already full of Curiosity about the world next door, and incredibly curious about its operational methods and World Order.

But due to the immense pressure of the World Crystal Wall System, they couldn't go in person. Even if only their Consciousness traveled, it would face significant suppression.

Under these circumstances, if they wanted to learn about that world, their only option was to dispatch a Subordinate God to carefully and gradually investigate.

However, the risk of such probing was extremely high. After all, they knew that a Creator God existed in the other party's world!

But now, with the emergence of Loki's proposal, they had an open and legitimate reason to travel to that world and investigate!

This was certainly a good thing. Most importantly, everyone who went could receive a "Scholarship". Was there really such a fantastic deal?

They looked at their restless subordinates around them and knew exactly what the consequences would be if they refused.

However, they still needed to ask clearly. "If our Gods go to your world, can they really return? Return completely intact?"

Griffith asked very cautiously. This was the crucial question. If they sent their own Deities out for this bit of resources and they couldn't return, that would be the most terrifying thing. This would be considered a case of having Lost the Watermelon for Sesame Seeds; they couldn't possibly do such a thing.

"You can just dispatch an Avatar over, like I did, can't you?" Lova said with absolute confidence. "Besides, our Divine Pantheon only requires your Knowledge. As for other things... Heh, with abundant resources, a God is merely an accumulation of resources!"

In the stories Lova understood, this was genuinely the case.

Because the essence of the Asgardian Pantheon was actually Giants. In their legends, not just any Giant could be called a God; only the most outstanding among the Giants could join the ranks of the Asgardian Pantheon!

Yet to the people of the Dylan Continent, these Giants were absolute Deities. They didn't bear the title of a God, but possessed God Power; they lacked authority, but their power was not inferior in the slightest!

Moreover, Lova knew that if these Giants wished, they could travel to certain worlds under the Rule of the Asgardian Pantheon to acquire a Divine Seat and join the grand organization of the World Tree. It just depended on whether they wanted to.

With endless resources and a path where even becoming a deity was an optional choice, Lova deeply understood the gap between the Dylan Continent and his own Divine Pantheon. Naturally, this gave him immense confidence when speaking!

Hearing Lova's words about being able to send an Avatar, the eyes of the many Deities before him instantly lit up!

Going with their True Body carried the worry of a Futile Endeavor, but if they only sent a false body, who wouldn't want to go? They could reap a "Scholarship" just by heading over; where else could one find such a wonderful deal?

"However—" Lova took a deep breath, causing everyone present to turn and look at him in astonishment. "Not every God has the opportunity to travel to the Asgardian Pantheon. His Excellency Loki only needs three candidates. Perhaps this quota will increase in the future, but right now, there are only three spots!"

Hearing this, a sharp light immediately flashed through the eyes of all the Subordinate Gods!

They began to glance at the other Colleagues around them, a trace of wariness flashing across their faces. These people were their competitors!

After all, sending an Avatar wouldn't cause any problems. If there truly was a "Scholarship", wouldn't that be a massive profit?

Then they definitely had to go, and it would be best if the Colleagues around them couldn't.

This was also a strategy. If everyone could go, no one would cherish the opportunity. But if it was something they had to fight desperately for, it would be a completely different story!

Once a Sunk Cost is invested, it isn't easily recovered. The Gods also had emotions, and emotions could be manipulated. This was the greatest Open Strategy!

Lova clearly knew this as well. To further reinforce this emotion, he simply waved his hand. The massive Meteorite beside him, huge enough to resemble a peninsula, was effortlessly sliced into three pieces.

He didn't divide it randomly either, but split it into three chunks based on the maximum physical foundation required for a Divine Kingdom belonging to a deity with Weak Divinity!

This Meteorite was enough to tempt a deity with Powerful Divine Power, as the resources on it were undeniably vast. However, these three divided chunks were also enough to tempt those with Medium Divine Power!

"This is the Scholarship paid in advance by His Excellency Loki. Upon a successful return, there will be another equivalent portion!" Lova naturally looked down on these resources. If he wanted to, he could just submit an application to the pantheon, and Haimudaer would gift him a planet similar to Earth. He just hadn't asked for one because it was unnecessary. After all, he wouldn't be able to use it even if he was given one. By the time he could use it, he could simply acquire one from the World Tree himself, making it even less needed!

But that was only him. The Deities of the Dylan Continent still needed them. The scarcity of resources here made every God eager to seize such an opportunity!

"I still fail to comprehend it. All these resources just in exchange for a little opportunity to share Knowledge?" Garfield said in shock. "What exactly is your Chief God thinking?"

Lova shook his head. "Actually, this is merely a wager between two Chief Gods. Compared to these inconsequential resources, they value winning the bet far more!"

He smiled warmly at the Deities before him. "Compared to the so-called Knowledge, if you can actually manage to please them... once the two Chief Gods are happy, gifting you enough materials to forge a direct path to Powerful Divine Power wouldn't be a difficult matter at all!"

The moment these words were spoken, everyone present erupted into an uproar!

It turned out that the immensely important resources in their eyes were merely a Trifle for a wager in the eyes of others?

Just what kind of formidable Divine Pantheon was this? This level of power was simply enough to induce Despair!

The two deities with Powerful Divine Power, however, thought a bit further. They knew even better that the opposing world didn't just have one powerful Divine Pantheon; it had many. There was also a terrifying pantheon named "Christianity", and even a horrifying Great Existence blessed with endless mighty power!

With so many powerful Divine Pantheons, Great Existences, and even a Multiverse belonging to them, such a divine system would naturally look down on a "poor place" like theirs.

Even those with Powerful Divine Power had begun to view themselves as being from a "poor place". It had to be said, the plan was highly effective!

"Then, in principle, we can agree to your request!" Ultimately, the two beings with Powerful Divine Power approved the plan. They positioned themselves on a high pedestal, formally accepting this "exchange studies" program!

What followed, naturally, was a special selection process. Because the quota involved resources capable of driving ordinary Deities mad, many were striving fiercely to secure a spot!

Watching this unfold, Lova, who hadn't yet prepared to return, suddenly realized that this seemed to be an excellent opportunity as well!

After all, he still remembered the conversation he had with Loki before coming here:

"His Excellency Loki, you seem to pay a lot of attention to our world!" Lova had asked with Curiosity. This was a question that came to mind while he was describing his own world to Loki.

Loki chuckled lightly. "A completely enclosed world, a world starved of resources yet teeming with Deities, and one that even possesses legends of a Creator God. Of course I must investigate it!"

"Because the resources that can be seen everywhere in our world are universally accepted Hard Currency in this world. Don't you find that deeply fascinating?"

Lova also had some understanding of Loki's personality. This was an existence so cynical and indifferent that he wouldn't even care if the world was destroyed. Much of the time, he simply wanted to find amusement!

But if you treated his actions merely as seeking amusement, you would be dead wrong. A god of amusement could never become a Chief God of the Asgardian Pantheon—especially considering he was originally a Frost Giant himself.

The Asgardian Pantheon looked down on Frost Giants primarily because this group of Frost Giants was even more Warlike than they were, showing absolutely zero regard for other worlds, The Faithful, and the environment.

Loki, however, was an anomaly among them. His mind was deep, his power was formidable, and most importantly, his ideas were miraculously unique!

"Everything we do poses no threat to them whatsoever. On the contrary, all our actions are entirely reasonable and compliant!" Loki had stated. "In other words, we are providing poverty alleviation for this world!"

"However..." The smile on this Evil God's face was incomparably mischievous. "After the poverty alleviation ends, whether those Deities lean towards this world or towards us, that is no longer our concern, is it?"

"The Asgardian Pantheon is a beacon, a powerful alien Divine Kingdom, and their dream homeland. Isn't this a wonderful thing?"

Lova still remembered that when he first heard these words, he only felt a chilling cold wash over his entire body.

Fortunately, he was also a member of the Asgardian Pantheon, so it was fine!
