Because the essence of the Asgardian Pantheon was actually Giants. In their legends, not just any Giant could be called a God; only the most outstanding among the Giants could join the ranks of the Asgardian Pantheon!

If he wanted to, he could just submit an application to the pantheon, and Haimudaer would gift him a planet similar to Earth. He just hadn't asked for one because it was unnecessary. He smiled warmly at the Deities before him. "Compared to the so-called Knowledge, if you can actually manage to please them... once the two Chief Gods are happy, gifting you enough materials to forge a direct path to Powerful Divine Power wouldn't be a difficult matter at all!"

The moment these words were spoken, everyone present erupted into an uproar!

It turned out that the immensely important resources in their eyes were merely a Trifle for a wager in the eyes of others?

But if you treated his actions merely as seeking amusement, you would be dead wrong. A god of amusement could never become a Chief God of the Asgardian Pantheon—especially considering he was originally a Frost Giant himself.

The Asgardian Pantheon looked down on Frost Giants primarily because this group of Frost Giants was even more Warlike than they were, showing absolutely zero regard for other worlds, The Faithful, and the environment.

Loki, however, was an anomaly among them. His mind was deep, his power was formidable, and most importantly, his ideas were miraculously unique!

"Everything we do poses no threat to them whatsoever. On the contrary, all our actions are entirely reasonable and compliant!" Loki had stated. "In other words, we are providing poverty alleviation for this world!"

"However..." The smile on this Evil God's face was incomparably mischievous. "After the poverty alleviation ends, whether those Deities lean towards this world or towards us, that is no longer our concern, is it?"

"The Asgardian Pantheon is a beacon, a powerful alien Divine Kingdom, and their dream homeland. Isn't this a wonderful thing?"

Lova still remembered that when he first heard these words, he only felt a chilling cold wash over his entire body.
