Chapter 399: Fleecing the Deities' Wish Power

"Crown, why did you suddenly fall completely silent just now?" Alvin's voice reached Bai Yang's ears, prompting him to shake his head with a smile. "It is nothing. Do not worry about me, Alvin!"

"I just took a brief trip to the Dylan Continent!" Bai Yang's words left Alvin absolutely shocked.

"You... went to the Dylan Continent? Did you clash with that entity of Powerful Divine Power? Did something go wrong?"

Alvin's tension was not feigned, as they both knew exactly what kind of terrifying existences were hidden in that world!

That was a being of Powerful Divine Power, a terrifying Deity who, if they came to this world, could easily overturn everything they had built. And Bai Yang had actually gone over there?

Alvin listened with Half-Understanding. "Crown, do you mean our baiting was successful? Did the Deities over there truly witness that scene?"

Bai Yang smiled and nodded. "Of course. Look, what is this?"

He raised his hand, and two streams of Wish Power flashing with Light shot forth, causing Alvin to gasp in astonishment. "This is... Supernatural Wish Power? And at the level of Deities?"

He looked at Bai Yang with immense excitement. "Crown, your trickery actually made a Powerful Divine Power choose to believe it!"

"Indeed, our plan has been highly effective. Our alteration of history was incredibly successful, and our shaping of Deities and the Divine Pantheon was flawless. Even a Powerful Divine Power believed in the existence we fabricated!"

"This means that as long as we keep going, perhaps one day, the entire Dylan Continent will become our production ground for Wish Power!"

Bai Yang spoke very calmly. Originally, he had been quite worried about the neighboring world, but after taking a trip there, those worries faded. Killing off all the Deities was the most idiotic course of action and the greatest waste of resources. Bai Yang naturally would never resort to that.

"You are mistaken, Alvin. I have no intention of plundering the Wish Power of the humans in that world. With that kind of time, I would be better off opening up a few more virtual worlds here and encouraging these people to have more children!"

The biggest difference between Earth, or rather the Universe they resided in, and the Dylan Continent was the nearly infinite Material Resources available here.

How much mass did Earth actually account for in the solar system? Jupiter's mass was three hundred times that of Earth, yet the combined mass of all celestial bodies in the entire solar system was less than one percent of the Sun!

And the Sun, within the Galactic System, was nothing more than an insignificant speck among the vast ocean of stars.

The total number of stars in the entire Galactic System was at least a hundred billion, and the Sun was on the smaller side, its mass pitifully low in comparison!

Furthermore, the Galactic System was merely an inconspicuous Star System within the Local Group, not to mention the Local Supercluster above it, the Laniakea Supercluster beyond that, the even more massive Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, and all the way up to the limits of the observable Universe's horizon...

The sheer scale of the Universe he existed in almost surpassed the imagination of anyone from any world, and the vastness of its resources far exceeded the comprehension of any Deity!

The Deities of the Dylan Continent had developed to an absolute limit. Because of the constraints of their world, their Supernatural Factions had reached their peak alongside a pitifully small amount of Matter.

Every Deity knew that if they could acquire more Matter to fill their Divine Kingdom, they could gain more of The Faithful, possess more subordinate Gods, and perhaps even forge a unique, orthodox path—piling up resources to elevate the level of their Godhood!

However, aside from the earliest batch of Deities on the Dylan Continent, no other Deity had the qualifications to do so anymore.

Because the world's resources had long been completely divided up. Even if Deities fell, their Divine Kingdoms would be reclaimed by the world rather than being carved up by the surviving Deities.

This was the harsh reality of resource scarcity. Just like those of Powerful Divine Power, they too wished to obtain more Matter and achieve greater heights.
