From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 379: Golden Hair: I Was Clearly Here First!

Chapter 379: Golden Hair: I Was Clearly Here First!

The Caribbean Sea was tranquil. In these nearly windless waters, everything appeared profoundly peaceful.

Yet, amidst this serenity, a massive Sea Giant and an even more colossal octopus were engaged in a fight to the death upon the ocean's surface!

Both creatures towered dozens of meters high. Their clash sent wave after wave crashing outwards, churning the surrounding sea as if an invisible, giant hand was stirring the waters, throwing up spray dozens of meters into the air.

However, the onlookers already had a good grasp of the situation. The two behemoths had been battling for nearly half an hour, yet neither could secure a decisive victory.

The gargantuan sea beast was certainly capable of shattering the Sea Giant, but with Poseidon's Scepter in his grasp, Elton found it just as easy to reconstruct his titan. They seemed to be locked in an unbreakable stalemate.

Meanwhile, the Advisory Team in the White House was actively analyzing the issues surrounding these Transcendent Beings.

"They undeniably possess Transcendent Power, but that power does not truly belong to them!" Professor Thomas declared nervously. As he stared at the footage on the screen, his mind raced with analysis. "We do not see the effortless grace or the casual confidence displayed by the Transcendent Beings of The Church!"

Golden Hair looked a bit bewildered. "What exactly do you mean by that? Can you speak a little more clearly?"

Knowing that Golden Hair would struggle with metaphors, Professor Thomas explained directly, "Think of the Transcendent Beings we already know as precise, well-oiled machines; they control every single part of themselves. These two, on the other hand, are more like men holding guns, or operating remote controls."

"Their power does not belong to them; they merely have the authority to wield it!" Professor Thomas continued. "This is not the Transcendent Power we are searching for. This is like two children carrying gold through a busy market!"Right at that moment, Qian Si hurried over, brimming with excitement. "Your Excellency, Great Leader! We have located the Windless Graveyard! It is right... right..."

He suddenly noticed the main monitor, taking in the two colossal creatures and the specific geographic coordinates displayed. "...Right where they are fighting..."

Qian Si's words instantly drew everyone's attention. Golden Hair turned to look at him. "Are you saying they are battling directly on top of the actual graveyard we have been looking for?"

"I am afraid so, sir!" Professor Margaret, who had walked over alongside Qian Si, chimed in. "We, along with professors from Harvard University, Princeton University, the California Institute of Technology, and others, used satellites and supercomputers to calculate the map's location. It is precisely in this area of the sea!"

"It seems we are not the only ones who found it. They did too!"

That certainly explained why the two Transcendent Beings were clashing in that specific spot.

"Could others have found it as well?" Baron asked curiously. Then, beside him, Secretary of State Luo picked up his tablet. "Actually, they have already arrived!"

The cloudless sky over the ocean was perfectly suited for satellite imaging. On the feeds, they could clearly see that numerous ships had already moved into position.

"The Dutch, the British, the French, the Vikings... even people from the Middle East, Japan, and India are there!" Golden Hair scowled at the tagged blips on the satellite map, demanding, "So where are our people?"

"Actually, Mr. Elton represents our people!" Qian Si replied helplessly. "This was something you approved."

Hearing this, Golden Hair's expression softened slightly. He really had approved it. Following the recent destruction of the Second Fleet, he had halted the deployment of a secondary military force, instead handing the authority over to the California Faction.

His original intention had been to create obstacles for them, but now, they had actually managed to stake a claim.

Yet, he could not say a word in complaint. It was his decision, and his decisions could not possibly be wrong. No matter how displeased he felt, he had to swallow his frustration.

"It appears they all know this is the true location of the graveyard and are fully prepared to seize their ecological niche here!" Qian Si said with a hint of regret. "It is just a shame about our fleet... If our fleet was there, we would surely be able to claim a larger share!"

Baron tried to comfort him. "Uncle Qian Si, not necessarily. They might have just used their Transcendent Power to bury our fleet instead!"

At his words, the others nodded in agreement. America itself was not known for playing fair, a fact everyone understood perfectly well. Now that these factions were armed with lethal Supernatural weapons, they would undoubtedly harbor murderous intent. Looking at it from that perspective, it was actually a stroke of luck that their fleet was not present! With the arrival of these ships, the two colossal creatures could no longer continue their battle. The people surrounding them began stepping out onto the decks of their vessels, openly displaying their Transcendent authority!

The newcomers instinctively assumed that the two factions who arrived first were fighting for control over the rights to this Supernatural Graveyard, and therefore, they revealed their own power without the slightest hesitation.

England's fleet was led by a Duke, and he was the first to unveil his Supernatural Item. It was a peculiar piece of wood, but the moment he brought it out, it violently erupted with the brilliant radiance of Thunder and Lightning. Instantly, a massive Thunderstorm Cloud blanketed the area above them.

Thunder and Lightning swirled around them, naturally drawing wary glances from many of the onlookers!

"Rumor had it that the British salvaged a special piece of Lightning-Struck Wood. Now, it seems those rumors were actually true..." Qian Si's voice murmured in everyone's ears.

The Dutch made a slightly less dramatic move. The individuals stepping onto their deck conjured an Ice Wall around their ships, effortlessly blocking the incoming waves.

"It was said they salvaged a massive Ice Block with the ability to trigger Ocean Freezing!" Qian Si continued his commentary.

America's claim to having the world's finest intelligence network was certainly no mere boast; it was a tangible reality.

In fact, Qian Si had reliable intelligence on the subsequent fleets as well:

"The French have the assistance of The Church. There are two Bishops on their ship, representing the Transcendent Power of the Vatican and the Italians!"

On one particular vessel, a group of black-robed Clergymen stood in calm composure. Their gazes swept across the gathered crowds, yet they refrained from displaying any overt power. After all, they were The Church, currently the most powerful faction in the world. Their name alone earned them the right to stand there!

"The Indians unearthed a Unique Statue from God knows where, granting them the power of Marine Plant Manipulation!"

Aboard their ship, an intertwining mass of coral and seaweed parted to reveal several High-Caste Brahmins.

"The Japanese brought Yokai Hybrids, looking like something neither human nor ghost!"

On a traditional wooden ship, a white Ghostly Presence flickered past, followed by a group of White-Clad Warriors and Onmyoji dressed in stark black and white.

"The wealthy tycoons from the Oil Nations opted for the most unconventional path. They dredged up a Hide Drum from the sea, possessing the power to manifest certain Eerie Creatures!"

Within the Middle Eastern fleet, a group of African Shamans—hired from who knew where—encircled a massive hide drum. They chanted incomprehensible songs, causing the terrifying outlines of monsters to materialize alongside their ships.

Witnessing these displays, the fleets from many smaller nations quietly retreated to the rear. They had quickly realized that in this extraordinary gathering, those without Transcendent Power did not even have the right to speak!

Every single person standing their ground belonged to a Supernatural Faction. Even if some had only just acquired their abilities, it was still genuine Transcendent Power!

Seeing all of this unfold, Golden Hair went completely numb.

It turned out that every faction except theirs possessed Transcendent Power! In that moment, they truly had become Clowns!

Damn it! He was clearly here first, yet in this grand spectacle, his name and presence were completely absent!

Just then, Nick, who had been the very first to arrive, stood atop his sea beast and gazed at the ocean surface below. "I was wondering why all of you gathered here. It turns out... you are all coveting the treasure that belongs to our people!"

...

"Everyone is here... my meticulously designed trap was not in vain after all!" In Haiti, the voice of the Crystal Head echoed, causing the nearby Austin to look somewhat confused. "Crown, why did you gather them all here?"

"Because the Windless Graveyard is located right in that exact sea area, of course!" Kuchamama's voice reverberated. "The Shroud rests at the bottom of the sea, the Compass is in the hands of that boy, and paired with the Crystal Head in your possession—all three tokens are gathered. The seal will be broken, and the Inca Deities shall return to this world!"

"The Final Judgment is about to descend upon this place! And all of these people will serve as the Offerings for the end!"

"Only by destroying everything they have at the exact moment of their utmost confidence can we truly announce our return to this world!"
