From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 349: We Have Definitely Won, Man!

Chapter 349: We Have Definitely Won, Man!

Carl's judgment regarding his Tribe was, in fact, entirely correct.

As they chose to march to war, far away from the Tribe in Mexico City, a group of people was also engaged in a discussion.

The crowd gathered here was a complex mix. Some hailed from America, some from Mexico, others from Colombia, and a few even came all the way from Bolivia.

However, everyone present shared one identical identity: they were Drug Traffickers.

Of course, at this moment, they considered themselves more as victims. Over the past six months, their sales and transportation routes had been almost completely severed.

"Can we still force this route open? If it really comes down to it, we can detour through Texas or Florida. We have connections there too!" one Drug Trafficker could not help but suggest. "It is better than just sitting here waiting..."

Another Drug Trafficker disagreed and argued loudly, "Over half of our goods are shipped to California. Besides Luo City and New York, where else can consume such a massive volume of product? Miami? That place the Catholic Church has nearly turned into a city of absolute faith?"

These words plunged everyone into silence. Was not the spread of The Church's influence another major reason their business had become so difficult?

This old-school religion was entirely different from the corrupted cults they usually dealt with. An ancient organization like the Catholic Church strictly prohibited any form of narcotics. Consequently, as The Church spread its doctrine, the cartel's profits continuously plummeted.

Yet, no one dared to cause trouble for The Church. If even America did not dare to cross them, who did a bunch of smugglers think they were?Especially recently, with The Church actively handling the nationwide Demon outbreaks, they were even more terrified. They had to deliberately hide their tracks and minimize any chance of exposing themselves.

This fear was justified because one of their own Drug Traffickers had gone to collect a debt, only to encounter a debtor who had been corrupted by a Demon. The debt collector and his entire family were subsequently wiped off the face of the earth!

Ever since the practice of Demonic Supplication gained prominence, it seemed everyone had acquired the ability to drag their enemies down in a destructive outcome where both sides suffer catastrophic losses. People quickly realized that under the terrifying deterrence of Demons, many individuals suddenly became much more amicable and polite.

This even included this group of Drug Traffickers, who were now finding their illicit trade increasingly difficult to manage.

"If worse comes to worst, we will just take the sea route... Bribe the Coast Guard a little more. We can still make a living. It is best not to provoke these crazy Tribe people!"

"Exactly, we can still navigate the Caribbean Sea. Miami might be a problem, but the surrounding states are completely fine. It is no big deal!"

The ones speaking up were mostly Drug Traffickers operating within America. They adhered to a principle of extreme caution and wanted to avoid any unnecessary trouble.

At this point, a Drug Trafficker from Mexico completely lost his patience and roared, "Take that route if you want, but we absolutely refuse! We are the ones bearing all the transportation costs. If we keep taking these detours, our future profits will drop by at least a third!"

He cast a disdainful glare at his American counterparts. "You people have had your courage completely shattered by this so-called Transcendence! So what if they have Transcendent powers? Even Angels and Demons cannot destroy a single island, so what threat could they possibly pose to us?"

"Furthermore, we are talking about a pack of stray dogs here! Have they actually done anything over the past six months? The only reason America has not wiped them out is because they fear public opinion!"

Aside from American Officials, no one else knew the truth about the giant serpent and Alex.

After all, American Officials recognized it as a massive scandal, and naturally, they would not allow a scandal to leak to the public. Therefore, their sudden leniency toward the Original Inhabitants was widely misinterpreted as bowing to a unique form of public pressure.

Because of this, many people genuinely looked down on the indigenous forces.

Hearing his argument, more Drug Traffickers and Warlords voiced their agreement. "Exactly! Their comfortable lives have completely destroyed their Combat Power! Right now, we are going to fix the issue with this route. But if we succeed, you Americans will have to surrender a larger cut of the profits!"

This group of arrogant criminals had already begun dividing the future spoils.

"Then we wish you the best of luck!" the American Drug Traffickers stood up without a moment of hesitation. "If you can actually pull this off, we will willingly lower our share. We truly hope you succeed!"

"Hey, cowards!" A group of men flashed obscene gestures at them, watching mockingly as the Americans hastily retreated.

They felt completely certain of their victory. They had successfully fought off Government forces and secret agents from all over the world. How could they possibly lose to a bunch of so-called vagrants? A mere band of strays squatting in the region and blocking their path to wealth!

Meanwhile, in a hidden location unknown to the boastful cartel leaders, the American Drug Traffickers quickly regrouped after their brief dispersal.

"It looks like we need to find new business partners!"

"Yeah, they all think the American Government is just some kindly pushover. If the government truly had no capability, those Original Inhabitants would have met their Death the very next day! I cannot even begin to imagine how terrifying these Transcendent Beings must be to actually force the government to stay silent!" "Forget it. Let us just come back in a couple of days to collect their corpses. They should be thanking us!"

"So what do we do now? It seems we no longer have any proxies here. Should we just look for a new batch?"

"Not necessarily. These guys are also supporters of antiquated Doctrine. Who knows, maybe this land will only be used to plant Corn in the future?"

One of the Drug Traffickers cracked a dark joke, but it only brought an awkward chill to the room. Someone eventually sighed, "Demons threatening us domestically, and foreign deities threatening us abroad. How did our business become this incredibly difficult?"

"If we have no other choice, what about taking a trip to the Golden Triangle? Now that the massive superpower in The North is gone, we can continue developing operations over there!"

"Right, right, you go ahead and develop that... I just hope the next time I see you, you will not have been forcefully turned into a Buddhist Monk..."

The group fell completely silent, before eventually turning their gazes toward The West. "If all else fails, we still have Africa..."

"It has to be there. Thankfully, we still have some connections left!"

"As for these warmongering lunatics currently occupying this land, we can only wish them the best of luck. They are about to wage War against a terrifying group of Transcendent Beings capable of summoning natural disasters. Do you guys think they will even leave behind a single intact corpse?"

"That might be a little difficult..."

The American Drug Traffickers quickly departed the premises, but the warmongers belonging to Latin America had already begun their battle preparations.

"This time, we will mobilize all of our forces to completely annihilate them!" the leading man declared with absolute Fanaticism. "My Sangaro Family will show these cowardly American mafias exactly why they are forced to hide like rats in their own nation, while we fully control the political landscape of our Government!"

He waved his hand, and a satellite image of the Tribe appeared on the screen beside him. "Through satellite reconnaissance, we discovered that the majority of their settlements fall within our borders. Aside from the bases situated within American territory, which we will avoid, every other camp is well within our striking range!"

"This time, we will use our Tanks, Fighter Jets, and missiles to teach these primitive fools who still practice worship of Deities a harsh lesson about the true power of modern technology!"

"Your Sangaro Family is not the only one possessing such hardware. Our Pablo Family lacks nothing of the sort!"

"Our Gulf Family can deploy warships!"

"Our Alawi Family can directly mobilize an entire army!"

Everyone shouted out their respective military might, eagerly displaying their formidable strength while heavily reinforcing their collective confidence.

They exchanged glances with one another, cruel smiles creeping onto their faces. Whenever such smiles appeared, it guaranteed that countless more people were destined to die by their hands!

"Since that is the case, why don't we go ahead and divide up their population first? I heard this base currently holds nearly a hundred thousand people. Should we not turn them into our personal assets?"

"The men can be dragged off to transport goods, and the women used to generate income. If they refuse to obey, they still make excellent merchandise. We can just sell them off directly!"

"That is too wasteful. We might as well force them to cultivate crops for us, or maybe even have them pray on our behalf? If they managed to deceive American Officials, wouldn't helping us fool customs be incredibly easy?"

The minds of the drug lords instantly raced with wild ideas. They eagerly began plotting out scenarios for dividing the spoils of their impending victory, never once entertaining the possibility of defeat.

However, someone was about to help them realize that possibility.

"Mr. Sangaro, we just received intelligence from within the Mexican Government. The people of these indigenous Tribes have mobilized their forces, and it appears they are marching straight toward our territory!"

Hearing these words, everyone in the room erupted into laughter. "We have not even gone looking for them yet, and they dare to deliver themselves to our doorstep?"
