From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 348: Pre-Battle Sacrifice

Chapter 348: Pre-Battle Sacrifice

"It is not enough. The emotions aren't intense enough, and the impact isn't profound enough. They are still quite a ways off!" Bai Yang shook his head with a touch of regret as he felt the surging power. "These people have lost too much during their long history of suppression. They don't actually have much of their culture left, do they?"

Alvin nodded gently. "Yes, Crown. Out of the four of them, only Alex has truly attended a university, which is how he managed to become a journalist for a major newspaper. As for the rest, they never had the opportunity to receive an education. They are merely not illiterate."

"Still, not being illiterate doesn't mean they possess much of an international perspective or unique foresight. That is why they come across as incredibly narrow-minded!" Bai Yang evaluated calmly. "It is not their fault, but it is a true reflection of the six months of developmental opportunities they missed out on!"

"However, Crown, with the inclusion of the South American nations, this gap will be filled!" Alvin said happily. "These countries do not lack highly educated talents; what they lack is a platform to showcase their abilities. And the Transcendent organization before us is the perfect platform!"

The nations of South America shared a rather vivid saying: "Too far from Heaven, too close to America." It perfectly described how their geographical proximity to America had reduced them into a natural extraction zone for raw materials and a dumping ground for manufactured goods. Furthermore, their political landscape and national futures had been shattered and fragmented under that very nation's manipulation.

A nation with America's temperament would never allow any powerful country to exist along its borders. It would only force its neighboring nations into an endless, downward spiral of weakness.

This left the talents within these countries with no other options; apart from being siphoned away, they were left to rot in their own homelands, completely at their wit's end.

But now, with the emergence of Transcendent powers, the disruption of the World Order was visible to the naked eye. Naturally, opportunities for these people arrived right along with it.

This might just be the wellspring of development for the Mayan Pantheon!

Bai Yang had naturally considered this as well. "However, all of this can only happen after they complete this battle. They have blocked off the largest commercial route between America and Central America, angering the drug traffickers in the north and the drug lords in the south. In the end, they will have to fight it out.""Crown, you haven't paid attention to them in quite a while. You might just be shocked by their efforts!" Alvin said with a smile. The two of them faded into the air, watching as the followers of the three deities marched in three different directions.

"The Divine Faith of the God of Sacrifice, the Rain God, and the Wind God, relying on their unique Blood Sacrifice model, can genuinely draw power from the rituals. This is exactly the method of sacrifice you established in your initial design!" Alvin's words unfurled like a scroll painting by Bai Yang's ear. Before his eyes appeared three entirely different classes of warriors.

The original divine warriors—the warriors of the God of Sacrifice, the Death God, and the War God—were a group of incredibly imposing men. Gripping spears and daggers, they stood perfectly straight before Ivan, undergoing his rigorous inspection.

Ivan simply ripped off his shirt, raised his war spear high, and roared, "Warriors of K'ak' Tiliw! Today is the moment you offer up your lives!"

"For the great K'ak' Tiliw!"

Their massive roar echoed through the sky, causing Jaron next door to look rather disdainful. "These shirtless barbarians know absolutely nothing about the art of war!"

Jaron turned to face his own warriors. They were a rather elegant-looking group, all devout believers he had handpicked from the followers of Quetzalcoatl. Slung across their backs were bows that seemed to be formed entirely out of wind.

Indeed, after finishing his prayers to the Feathered Serpent God, Jaron had shrewdly chosen his unit: a band of archers who relied on the power of the wind to loose their arrows.

While this profession might seem somewhat laughable to many modern people, it was the only thing Jaron remembered hanging in his home when he fled Colombia as a child.

"Quetzalcoatl is the Feathered Serpent God, and even more so, the God of Wind and the Morning Star! Raise your bows! From this moment on, you stand with the great Feathered Serpent God!"

"With the great Feathered Serpent God!"

The battle cry of this group was hardly any quieter than the one from next door.

"Not bad. Very spirited. At least they have more energy than we do!" Hearing this, Alex remarked with a chuckle, prompting laughter from the people around him.

In the very next second, a snake coiled around his neck. It was a Two-Headed Snake, wrapping gently around his throat and flicking its tongues.

Unlike the other two squads, Alex's team had neither warriors nor archers. It was simply a group of people wearing ordinary clothes, just like him.

However, each of them also had a snake coiling around them. These snakes looked perfectly ordinary, but ordinary snakes would not stay completely still and quiet without making a single sound.

"Then let us get started as well. The Rain God Tlaloc is a benevolent deity, but He is also the god of wrath and floods. For the glory of Tlaloc!"

"For the glory of Tlaloc!" Their voices were no weaker than the previous groups. With the combatants sufficiently roused, it was finally time for Carl to take the stage.

When the three units reached their designated positions, a group of people had already been escorted before them and forced to their knees.

They were a mix of rebels, spies, and captured drug traffickers. Regardless of their past identities, here, they were nothing more than offerings.

Chief Carl, acting as the High Priest, sliced his obsidian blade through the air as if he could cut the very darkness of the night itself. He dragged the blade lightly across the skin of several captives before stopping in front of one man and ruthlessly driving it straight through his heart.

He extracted the offering's heart blood and scattered it across the obsidian array before him, his voice ringing out, "Father of War, Lord of Sacrifice, Death God! Accept this beating beacon—guide our warriors to tear open the throats of the living with their claws!"

Within the obsidian array, the blood emitted a pale, bone-white glow the moment it touched the formation. All of K'ak' Tiliw's warriors fell to their knees, awaiting the bestowal of their chief god.

In the next second, those rays of light washed over them, transforming into a tangible black power that seemed to swell their physiques significantly.

Following that, Carl moved to the front of the second unit. He scattered a handful of powder from his grip—corn powder, the dust of this race's most vital sustenance:

"Lord of the Morning Star! Scales that weave destiny—bestow upon your warriors the wind capable of piercing through lies!"

In the air, the corn powder miraculously coalesced into the shape of arrows before plunging into the quivers of every believer.

These men bowed deeply. "Quetzalcoatl, you are the embodiment of wisdom, the manifestation of the wind."

Finally, Carl did not even perform a bestowal for the force led by Alex. Instead, he simply picked up a cup of liquor and offered it to the snake beside Alex. "Crown Atlas, your wine!"

The Two-Headed Snake seemed to ponder for a moment before extending its tongues and downing the liquor in one gulp. It then sprayed the liquid into the air, letting it mist over every single person in the group.

"Great Rain God Tlaloc, let your sweet dew fall so the crops may grow fertile and our warriors may return safely!" the Rain God worshipers prayed in unison.

Having completed all of this, Carl finally turned to the warriors before him and declared loudly, "Warriors of the gods! What you are undertaking is the prelude to a magnificent cause, and I shall wait right here for your triumphant return!"

"Our warriors are fearless! Our warriors are invincible! Our warriors are the light of the new Aztec, the new Maya, and the new Inca!"

"We will become the most crucial vanguard in this National Resurgence Movement! The culture belonging to Europe cannot stop the return of our own heritage! For the glory of the gods!"

In the ensuing silence, everyone fiercely echoed his declaration: "For the glory of the gods! For the glory of our people!"

The determination burning in every single one of their eyes was more dazzling than it had ever been!

To these people, this place might truly be their dream homeland. Here, there was no discrimination, no guarded suspicion, and certainly none of the arrogant barking from the Americans.

They could mind their own business, they could spread their own culture, and they could worship their own gods!

They were no longer isolated and reclusive tribes, no longer putting on a facade just to blend into another culture. In this very moment, they were unapologetically themselves. Their cultural confidence and racial spirit were slowly unfurling in this very environment!

As a result, the morale here was exaggeratedly high; the people here possessed boundless self-confidence!

"Wow, they have really given me a massive surprise! Under the firm belief of so many people, Blood Sacrifice and Divine Faith have genuinely managed to achieve an accumulation of power!" Bai Yang remarked as he took stock of the situation. "They have forcefully carved out a path for themselves under these circumstances!"

"Crown, can this power be utilized?" Alvin asked.

Bai Yang nodded. "No problem at all. I didn't originally have much inspiration for this Divine Pantheon, but now I do!"

"Let me see just how far they can take this. At the very least, it is time for this Divine Pantheon to be firmly established!"
