Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk

Chapter 612: Artists’ Gathering

Chapter 612: Artists’ Gathering

Paris.

Lily Sloan and Jason Sloan attended an art exchange together.

Rather than an exchange, it was more like a group of youngsters having fun.

Jason Sloan looked gentlemanly and didn’t quite fit in with the "artists," giving off the first impression of a well-mannered and composed entrepreneur.

His sister teased him, "Brother, it seems your days in Paris aren’t as tough as I imagined."

"This is called finding joy amidst difficulties, you little brat wouldn’t understand."

As soon as he spoke, the composed image instantly vanished.

Jason called her a little brat, although he wasn’t much older than her, and the two strolled past the works of the artists, one by one.

Along the way, quite a few people approached and chatted with Jason.

"Jason, is this the little sister you’ve often talked about?"

Lily recognized the Cantonese accent and was surprised to find many Chinese people in Paris.

"Yes, she came to Paris on a business trip, just happened to visit me."

While they were chatting, Lily sneakily glanced at her phone, discovering that Finnian Lawrence had sent her a message, asking, "Why aren’t you at the hotel?"

In her rush to leave, she forgot to tell him that she had a brother in Paris.

Then she sent the address to Finnian.

Finnian arrived at the villa half an hour later; he explored all three floors but couldn’t find Lily.

Just when he was about to give up, he saw a man who bore some resemblance to Lily.

After all, they came from the same parents, both Jason and Lily inherited the Sloan Family’s good genes.

Finnian stopped in his tracks, observing Jason from a short distance.

Sure enough, he spotted Lily.

He strode forward quickly, stopping in front of Lily, who was momentarily stunned and said, "I thought you wouldn’t come to find me."

Finnian was wearing a camel coat today, a color that suited him, highlighting his gentle and refined nature, which was quite charming and maddeningly captivating.

He replied, "You’re the heartless one, dropping an address and then disappearing, making it hard to find you."

Though his words were scolding, the tone was anything but harsh.

Jason sensed something different and asked his sister, "Is this your friend?"

Then, Lily introduced them to each other.

She didn’t mention anything about love.

As the exchange was nearing its end, Lily left early and, unexpectedly, took a tumble.

Just then, Jason received an email from his mentor, needing to rebuild the lab bench, so only Finnian could take her to the hospital.

At this point, Lily wasn’t at all concerned about the pain in her ankle.

She wished she could find a hole to hide in, how could she embarrass herself like this in front of Finnian?

Before leaving, Finnian and Jason exchanged contact information to keep updated on Lily’s condition.

After resolving the matters at school, Jason started to regret how could he leave his own sister in the care of an outsider?

When Jason arrived at the hospital, he found the so-called "outsider" sitting immobile, watching over Lily.

From behind, the man appeared quite aggrieved.

After all, there was only a plastic chair, without even a backrest.

Lily was asleep, her calf in a cast, looking somewhat comical.

"Mr. Lawrence, thank you for staying to take care of my sister."

Finnian put down his computer and, with equal politeness, said, "Lily is my colleague and friend, it’s only right to help."
