The next day at VK.

Andrea was called into the chairman’s office to face Nora Northwood alone.

The young girl was among the first batch of perfumers to join VK. At that time, the company was just taking shape, and she had just graduated when Nora recruited her from the academy.

Therefore, Nora has always been patient and tolerant with her.

"Tell me, why do you want to resign? Is it due to the recent work intensity or some other reason?"

"Neither."

Andrea had long anticipated such a conversation, so she was prepared from the start.

Sure enough, during breakfast, Jasper started talking in her ear.

"No matter how busy work is, you can’t just power through. If you need any type of talent, you can let me know."

Nora listened, sipping a bit of hot milk to soothe her throat, before replying, "The international expo is approaching. How dare I slack off!"

Sitting opposite each other, Jasper’s tone was slightly firm as he posed a question, "You’re part of the top leadership. If everything requires your personal involvement, what’s the point of having employees under you?"

"I could have been more relaxed. A perfumer resigned, and I had to take over her work. It’s not just me who’s busy."

"Leave the perfumer issue to me. From now on, make sure you’re in bed by ten."

Thus, Jasper took the burden onto himself.

Nora agreed readily with words, but her mind didn’t align. Both harbored their thoughts, ending breakfast.

As they parted at the VK entrance, Jasper specially advised, "No matter how busy, take care of your health. I’ll help you with manpower issues today."

"Alright, then remember to pick me up tonight."

Nora thought his "help" was using his social connections to find some industry elites.

Unexpectedly, he went to another company to poach employees. And when he did, it was shocking.

Andrea had moved to the Woodward Family’s business circle.
