Chapter 424: Once, Twice, But Never Thrice
Chapter 424: Once, Twice, But Never Thrice
Private villa.
Jasper Sinclair placed Nora Northwood onto the soft bed in the center of the room, momentarily losing control of the strength in his hands, causing Nora to let out a muffled sound.
Through his dress pants, he rubbed against Nora’s thighs, "Nora, shouldn’t you be giving me more of your time?"
Warm breath caressed Nora’s ear, sparking a tingling itch. She unconsciously pressed her legs together, her delicate hands hooking around the man’s strong waist.
She said, "Once I’ve finished this busy period."
The overlapping of body temperatures brought them an ultimate sense of satisfaction and pleasure.
Nora’s heartbeat quickened continuously, and right now, she was being remarkably obedient.
The scent of sandalwood on her body tugged at Jasper’s heartstrings, her petite head already buried between two pillows.
"Are you still upset with me?"
This topic was obviously ill-suited to the ambiance, but coming from Jasper, it was delivered in a serious tone.
Nora withdrew her hand and tapped on his bow tie, "Once, twice, but never thrice, understand?"
"Understood, darling."
As he spoke, Jasper swiftly undid his tie and restrained Nora’s wrists, pressing them on either side.
In their gaze, he lowered his head.
The enchanting aura and rising desire had already overtaken his mind.
Then, his lips landed above Nora’s face and slowly moved down to the tip of her nose.
Clothes lay scattered around the bed, and Jasper noticed the person beneath him furrowing her brows as he gazed at her almost greedily.
A thin layer of sweat had formed on his back, and Nora had not an ounce of strength left, only able to sink softly down, closing her eyes to savor the joy within.
Later in the night, she fell deeply asleep.
Jasper checked her schedule from her memo and adjusted the alarm from eight to ten, pushing it two hours later.
The crescent moon hung high, sparse light filtering through the white curtain, falling onto the soft bed. The intertwined shadows appeared remarkably hazy.
The following day.
Nora’s internal clock didn’t wake her; it was only when the alarm rang for the third time that she, full of sleepiness, sat up and glanced at the time.
The "10:30" displayed made her rub her eyes, confirming repeatedly that she wasn’t mistaken before yelling: "Jasper Sinclair!"
The only response was the echo in the room; Jasper had long gone to the company.
Nora had no time to worry about the alarm, quickly freshening up without even grabbing breakfast, then had the driver take her to VK.
The scent of rosemary was still lingering on her arm, subtly hovering around her nostrils.
Nora had scheduled an interview with a sales manager at eleven. Given the candidate’s considerable experience, she decided to conduct the interview herself.
On her way to VK, she forwarded other recruitment information to Yvonne Winslow’s email.
Today the entire staff was off, so Nora was the only one at the company.
Luckily, the security was alert and had escorted the interviewee to the meeting room.
Nora arrived five minutes late.
"Maddie, sorry to have kept you waiting for five minutes." She showed no airs of being the boss.
The other party was around thirty, formerly employed at a perfume brand, dressed in an A-line skirt. Her demeanor exuded a very seasoned vibe, with fine lines around her eyes revealing her life’s experiences.
"I just arrived myself, President Northwood." Saying this, Maddie extended her hand, pausing mid-air.
Nora reached out, shaking hands amicably, "Let’s sit down and chat first."
