Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk

Chapter 423: Kiss by the Sea

Chapter 423: Kiss by the Sea

The matters lingering in Nora Northwood’s mind were swept away by the wind.

After two months of busyness, she finally found a moment to unwind; she wished she could stay here forever.

The temperature kept dropping, and her limbs grew numb.

At this crucial moment, Nora couldn’t allow her body to suffer any mishaps, so she prepared to head back.

As she turned around, she found someone standing behind her.

"Ah!" She was taken aback and stumbled.

Thankfully, Jasper Sinclair reacted swiftly and supported her slender waist in time.

"How do you walk without making any sound? You startled me!" Nora playfully complained, not even knowing when he arrived.

"I couldn’t bear to disturb you."

Jasper’s lips bore a faint smile, tinged with a bit of mischief.

"When did you get here, and how did you know I was here?" Facing the sea, her round almond eyes glimmered brightly.

"Not long ago, maybe a few minutes; I’ve set up location sharing on your phone."

Ever since that incident last year, Jasper reconfigured her phone to share her location in real-time, making it difficult for anyone to detect—unless they’re a top international hacker, regular people have no way to crack it.

Nora uttered an "Oh" in response, regaining her footing.

"You’ve been in the wind for so long, not caring for your body at all." As he spoke, the man removed his coat and draped it over her shoulders.

"I’m in good physical shape... Achoo!"

Before she could finish her sentence, Nora was swiftly contradicted. She rubbed her nose and let out an embarrassed chuckle.

Another gust of wind blew through the gap between them, causing her soft clothing to cling to her skin and outline her almost perfect figure, like a hill.

Jasper narrowed his eyes and pulled her into his embrace, "It’s not safe for you to come to the beach alone. Next time you want to see the sea, make sure to ask me along."

In the past, Nora would have notified him first.

Lately, he felt there was something between them, creating a distance that wasn’t there before.

But what that is, he couldn’t quite articulate...

"I know, but I was afraid you’d be busy." Nora lowered her gaze, speaking words even she didn’t believe.

Suddenly, an intense sense of helplessness arose deep in Jasper’s heart.

He bent down, pressing his thin lips against hers, engaging in a passionate kiss.

The redness on Nora’s lips turned messy and slightly swollen.

Their bodies pressed tightly together in the night, fully absorbing each other’s warmth.

Jasper’s hand gradually moved upward, passing through Nora’s jet-black hair, forming a stark contrast with his pale knuckles, then applying a bit more pressure.

"Mmm..."

The coat draped over her shoulders fell to the ground, and only when holding her in his arms tightly did Jasper reluctantly let go.

When he opened his eyes again, a faint shade of red tinged his lips too.

"Your lipstick smeared onto your mouth," Nora said coyly.

Listening to her voice, Jasper felt his heart melt, wishing he could keep her at home where only he could see her day and night.

"Smear it back." With that, he leaned closer again.

Nora quickly bent down, slipping out of his grasp like an eel, moving behind him, "No, it’s late, time to go home."

Jasper felt a tickle in his heart, unable to do much, so he could only smile with a slight carefree curve, "Go home and settle the score."
