Chapter 420: His Compromise
Chapter 420: His Compromise
During lunch, Jasper Sinclair asked about the morning’s situation again: "Any new developments this morning?"
Nora Northwood originally didn’t want to respond to him, but then she thought again; since he was VK’s biggest investor, it was appropriate to answer.
So, she paused in bringing food to her mouth and replied, "A lot of individual owners inquired, but they think the VK high-end pricing is too high, so they’re not considering it."
The frustration in her tone didn’t escape Jasper Sinclair’s eyes.
After understanding the situation roughly, Jasper pointed out a few things: "Pricing isn’t what you need to worry about; it’s that they don’t have the matching purchasing power. Since VK has decided to go the high-end route, it must lift its stature — the brand is, and so are you."
Nora nodded, only understanding, without having the time to digest.
By the afternoon, the trade show became crowded, and around four o’clock, there was a peak period.
More and more people came to inquire about the aroma, and Nora was already overwhelmed. Megan Underwood brought two newcomers to join the explanation team.
Among them, a hotel manager showed great interest in the Maridia Rose product.
Nora explained it to him in detail. The other person was very straightforward, and signed a partnership agreement on the spot.
This was VK’s first agreement signed at the trade show; for a while, everyone was thrilled, their efforts had finally paid off.
Nora understood the true meaning of Jasper Sinclair’s words; like a fragrance attracting birds.
Maridia Rose is worthy of its price.
VK is worthy too.
On that day, the trade show ended at ten o’clock. Everyone packed up quickly and returned to the company about forty minutes later.
"Want to have a late-night snack?"
To reward everyone, Nora proposed this suggestion.
Fortunately, the company personnel often referred to each other as friends, avoiding much politeness and unnecessary formalities; immediately, they treated her to a feast.
This group of youthful youngsters imagined the future development of VK while eating and drinking.
Watching their smiles, Nora couldn’t help but smile herself.
Everyone was about the same age, but her eyes had more experienced marks than others.
From an ordinary flower shop to a studio, and now to a high-end brand, VK was the culmination of her two years of effort.
After the midnight snack, everyone went home, leaving only Nora behind.
She organized today’s visitor information, conducted comprehensive and in-depth investigations on each partner, and ranked them in ABC classifications.
After screening, finally five companies were confirmed as category A, worthy of further communication and exchange.
Near midnight, a Maybach stopped at the entrance of the building.
Jasper Sinclair sat in the driver’s seat, the car window open, his arm resting on the window frame, staring at the sole light source of the entire building.
He didn’t know how long he had been sitting, and his upper eyelids couldn’t help but droop. He then sent a message to Nora: "I’m downstairs."
When Nora received the message, she was still conducting intent research.
To be honest, the reason she was reluctant to go home, besides work, was partly because of Jasper Sinclair.
She went to the floor-to-ceiling window and glanced down; sure enough, a Maybach was parked on the empty street, its lights flashing.
Across three floors, their eyes met.
The expectation in Nora’s eyes vanished in an instant, as if it were never there.
She knew Jasper Sinclair was compromising with her, thus she tidied up the things on the table and left the building.
