Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk

Chapter 369: Collapse of Faith

Chapter 369: Collapse of Faith

Even the young girl declared that she wanted to be Jasper Sinclair’s wife.

The self-confidence Nora Northwood painstakingly built collapsed time and again.

Peach Bell was someone Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair had chosen. She was just a commoner who had stumbled into the rich family by chance.

If Jasper Sinclair went back on his word, or if Grandma Sinclair did, would this absurd marriage end?

Nora didn’t dare think deeply, shaking her head to try and rid herself of those bleak thoughts.

After getting in the car, Jasper fastened her seatbelt.

It was clearly not an elegant move, yet he managed to give it an elegant flair.

Nora had to admit, some people are naturally noble.

With an important schedule tomorrow, Jasper arranged for them to stay at a nearby hotel.

The hotel manager, having heard in advance that a "VIP" was coming, was waiting in the lobby.

"Good evening, Director Sinclair, Mrs. Sinclair."

As they arrived, the manager displayed a sweet smile, bowing at a ninety-degree angle.

The presidential suite was on the 33rd floor. Jasper dismissed him with a simple, "No need for service."

"Jasper, I... um."

Nora opened her mouth, but before she could utter a complete sentence, she was silenced.

"Nora, can you come with me on my business trips from now on?"

Jasper’s nose touched her delicate one, and as he spoke, his lips brushed lightly over hers, his warm breath mingling around their mouths and tongues.

His bent fingers caressed the side of Nora’s face, waiting for her answer.

Nora seemed reluctant to agree to this slightly unreasonable request.

Jasper tilted his head, his breath fanning her ear, "Promise me, Nora."

Nora bit her lip, wanting to protest, and suddenly, her earlobe was enveloped, a wet sensation like an electric shock spread through her body, making her legs go weak, a tingling shiver ran between them.

"Okay, okay."

She repeated "okay" twice, already unable to control her thoughts and actions.

In the dim light, her bright eyes closed, her jade-like fingers clung tightly to the edge of Jasper’s shoulder, as if it was the only thing she could hold onto.

Unconsciously, she lifted her chin, exposing her slender swan neck to the man’s gaze, and involuntarily swallowed.

She retreated, but there was nowhere to go; behind her was the cold wall, "Jasper, I haven’t showered yet."

Jasper’s kisses trailed downwards and then halted at her collarbone, the tender kisses making her itch unbearably.

Her clothes had long fallen off.

The next moment, she was lifted into the air, cradled sideways, "Let’s go to the bathroom. Do you like the bathroom?"

Nora was too shy to answer the question; she simply buried her head in his chest, a faint pink tinting her ears.

"If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as a yes."

"Don’t."

Her eyes were moist, giving her a pitiful look. Unfortunately, the room was too dark for Jasper to see clearly.

"Hold onto me, Nora."

Feeling the increased pressure on his shoulder, Jasper freed one hand to find the light switch on the wall, "Close your eyes."

Nora obediently closed her eyes. Accompanied by a "click," the bathroom lit up, illuminating her fair face.

"Shower with me." Jasper’s words and actions were overwhelming.

In just a few moves, he had stripped them both of their clothing.

In the night.

"Cough, cough—"

Nora couldn’t stop coughing. She had caught a chill during the day and after being up with Jasper until early morning, combined with the water and climate change, inevitably she ran a fever.
