Chapter 359: Fragrance Event
Chapter 359: Fragrance Event
Nora Northwood and Finnian Lawrence met at a style design shop, a subsidiary of The Sinclair Group.
This man, as always, was composed.
Even when facing a partner who was fifteen minutes late, his expression showed no signs of discomfort.
"Traffic jam on the way, sorry," Nora said, feeling a bit guilty.
"It’s okay," Finnian took his hand out of his pants pocket, and upon closer look, he was holding a sheet of A4 paper.
The paper was densely packed with records of a brand’s philosophy and style.
He said, "The main product for this event is a gardenia fragrance. This is the outline of the process, you can take a brief look."
Nora took it from Finnian’s hand, puzzled, she asked, "Will someone ask me questions?"
She had attended similar brand events over a dozen times, but in the past, there were never Q&A sessions; even if there were, they wouldn’t be for someone at her level.
"Yes, it’s already confirmed. The host will ask which scent type you prefer. You just need to make a few simple evaluations based on your professional knowledge. It can also be considered an opportunity to make a public appearance."
Nora smiled, "Thank you, Finnian, for giving me this chance."
"Regarding the attire, you can choose light yellow to echo the main gardenia theme."
Nora accepted this suggestion and chose a strapless light yellow top. The fabric was stiff and would have a more visual impact in sunlight than indoors.
The stylist praised her, "You have more presence than many celebrities I’ve seen."
After finishing with the styling, Nora’s high heels clicked on the floor as she and Finnian took the same car to the event venue.
This event was held in a mall that exclusively focuses on luxury goods.
The venue was already decorated with gardenia flowers, and glass stands displayed the latest series of gardenia fragrances.
Some sharp-eyed reporters noticed the downgrade in the level of Nora’s dress, speculating whether her benefactor had fallen out of love and refused to provide resources.
After all, scenes from the century wedding had already spread throughout Stanton City.
Everyone knew about a young girl who claimed she would become Jasper Sinclair’s wife.
Nora only felt these people were overly sensitive. Whether attending events or banquets, she never intentionally dressed extravagantly; her styling team always arranged her looks.
The sound of camera shutters was incessant, from the moment she entered the venue.
She smiled throughout, until even the sides of her cheeks were stiff.
After handling several social interactions, Nora began to feel fatigued, losing interest.
"Finnian, is the Q&A session going to be held at the end?"
"From the current situation, it seems so. Let me contact someone backstage."
Nora stopped his next move, "No need, I’m just a bit hungry."
"Snacks are in the area to our right, I’ll take you there."
"I’ll go myself. You keep an eye on the brand’s actions here, contact me if anything comes up."
Then, they parted ways.
Nora, accompanied by a waiter, arrived at the less crowded dining area.
The people attending the event mostly wore glamorous dresses, which weren’t suitable for eating.
Red velvet cake and chocolate lava cake were neatly placed side by side on a checkered tablecloth.
Nora propped her chin on her hand, contemplating which flavor to choose.
After some hesitation, she picked the cheese tart instead, ate just one piece, and then returned to the main event area.
